Remnant Satellite

Walked past here on a Wednesday afternoon, and its vintage, classy exterior caught my eye. Stepping inside, I was greeted by a beautifully designed space. The soft lighting sets up an intimate atmosphere, perfect for a chill visit. The sleek cafe and bar equipment and wood finish really provided that sophistication feel. I also loved the leather seats in the back and added to this feeling.The sound design deserves a special mention. The addition of sound-absorbing panels on the walls and ceilings is a really thoughtful touch. I could actually have conversations while listening to music that isn't echoing off the walls. The music choice was impeccable, especially for the time of day. Loved the soft indie and acoustic tracks.Staff at the bar/cafe were not only kind but also impressively knowledgeable. I opted for an espresso, and it was exactly what I needed - strong and invigorating. I didn't try the food so I can't comment here, but seems like someone else here did not have that great of an experience with it.The outdoor seating added another layer of charm here. It's easy to imagine spending some great summer afternoons here, chatting with friends and enjoying the music. I'd say this bar is an ideal choice for those who prefer something a bit more tranquil than a dive bar.

They have an outdoor patio in the back that is so cute! Tables are quite wide so I felt very far from my friend beers are solid and service is good. We came on a Wednesday evening and were one of the only parties outside

I liked the non alcoholic mixed hibiscus drink best. The beers didn't do it for me. And my friends agreed. I would go back to try a small burger. First visit was kinda weird vibes. I'm in my late twenties and the male bartender carded us so hard that he was quizzing us on our friends names. I've never felt that uncomfortable being carded but we also don't look like high schoolers and we're all mid-late twenties so was a bit off vibe wise. The female bartender looked really cool and probably knit her own sweater.

I had food poisoning from your hamburger last Saturday afternoon (02/11). It tasted a little off but i was drinking a negroni and ignored thinking the bitters could have something to with it, but next day i started seeing the results. I spent most of the week throwing up and also worse things Yelpers don't need too much details of. I love the bar but i ask the cooks to be more careful with their food handling.I did all my due diligences before posting here, i'm sure it was your food.

SO GOOD. the food was amazing and the drinks were great too. best hotdog ever. fries were sooo good. and pretzel was perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Remnant Satellite. The menu is simple but there is something for everyone. Our only regret is that we were there for the beer which is awesome. The cocktail menu was very very tempting. They have a great feeling of a local bar and the ambiance to match. Service was exceptional.

This establishment was a very disappointing dining and drinking experience. When our party of 5 sat down we were given 2 menus. When I asked for an additional menu, they were inconvenienced. Despite the very empty dining room, the hostess said I could have an extra menu but they "expected it to get very busy for trivia and would need it back." We ordered drinks. When I asked for a dirty martini, our waitress returned to tell me very explicitly: "My manager wants me to try to sell you one of our speciality cocktails. This dill infused gin and vodka is like a martini." Already uncomfortable, and never having been asked to change my drink order for any reason other than a lack of ingredients, I obliged. We ordered appetizers and entrees before trivia. The mac and cheese was gelatinous and the "shareable salad" was anything but. Our drinks arrived and the cocktail that I had been coerced into drinking was bitter, warm, and unpalatable, with a limp pickle chip floating at the bottom. Not at all similar to the dirty martini I had initially ordered, and almost impossible to drink, I understood why they were resorting to persuasive actions. The waitress returned to check in and asked me (skeptically I might add) how I was liking my drink, definitely aware that she had sold me a lie. I asked once again for a dirty martini. The waitress gave a knowing nod and returned with a very below average martini but a martini nonetheless. No olive skewer but we persisted. The Mediterranean grain bowl I ordered was actually good - lots of tahini, toasted sunflower seeds, no complaints! We ordered coffee to get us through the end of a paltry trivia night (3+ minutes per answer is absurd). We were told there was no regular coffee available, so most of us ordered espresso beverages. A little pick me up after rather sad libations. The cappucino and Americano that came out were plenty fine! My double shot of espresso however can only be likened to something between wet tar and week old sewage. Then, after asking multiple times for our bill, they had charged us for both gin beverages including the one I was strongarmed into ordering. As well as an additional beverage no one had ordered! Our waitress admitted to the mixup but only after we'd tipped her according to the additional charges. Vibes were off, drinks were bad, and we were overall disappointed with Remnant. Only go to this bar if you want to be manipulated into a weak drink and a bad time.

Great job taking over a long-time favorite's space. Fantastic beer on tap from Remnant + Guinness and other high volumes. Great liquor bar selection. Great food at a good price.
