Great location across from The Bean and Millenium Park. Wine selection is superb. Enjoyed some bold reds and unique, crisp whites. Late lunch was delicious with a unique twist to every dish. Definitely try the crab cake and poke plus the sliders. Also enjoyed people watching from this casually upscale spot with great service from the moment we arrived.

On a rainy day in Chicago, we sought refuge at Remington's, conveniently located across from Millennium Park. The warm welcome began with the hostess, who kindly handed us towels and seated us at a cozy booth by the window. The ambiance at Remington's is inviting, featuring leather decor and fireplaces, with a unique wine vault for those who wish to dine there. Our server was prompt, bringing waters and taking the time to understand our preferences to help us with our order. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food. I enjoyed one of the best Bloody Mary's I've ever had, practically a meal in itself. I highly recommend Remington's for a delightful brunch experience in a charming setting.

I will caveat this with I've enjoyed Remingtons every time I've been but I've only been during work hours for business lunches. The ambiance is perfect for a business lunch and is quiet enough to allow for conversation. Service is attentive but not overbearing. I've tried a few menu items but my favorite is always the fish sandwich! Very generous portion and seasoned well plus the fries are perfect. It's a bit on the pricier side for standard American cuisine but it is downtown on Michigan Ave so that's probably why.

#1 - food we tried was AMAZING!! We had the brussel sprouts, the lobster deviled eggs and the mini filet sandwiches. All of these were fantastic!! Hubs had the Old Fashioned and a Manhattan - both very good I tried the Purple Rain (so good) and the Gimlet. I am not a gin drinker but this was excellent!! Our bartender was Destiny and she was SUPER !! Ambiance is great. We had a reservation in the restaurant but got there early and ended up sitting at the bar - it was outstanding !!

I came with friends for CRW 2024. We had a reservation for a party of 8, and were given their "party" room of sorts, surrounded by glass but with two walls of wine glasses on opposite walls, which was a cool environment!I ordered the lobster deviled eggs, turkey burger, and nutella brownie and would say the meal started out strong with the lobster deviled eggs -- creamy, salty from the lobster -- and the brownie was my least favorite (but perhaps it was because I was so full from their generous portions!). I couldn't discern any nutella flavor, it tasted like a brownie (although was big and moist). The turkey burger was fine, I liked the slaw that came on top for some brightness.

For the first night of my stay in Chicago, I was looking for a place to grab dinner that was within walking distance from Millennium Park and had great reviews, and that is how I found this place! Upon entering, the staff was attentive and guided my mom and me to our table (which faced the busy street with plenty of views for people to watch). The server served us water immediately, and we got our drink order in less than one minute. Given that the restaurant was not busy yet for dinner time, in less than 10 minutes, the dinner crowd started to pick up in this restaurant. The ambiance of this place was inviting and cozy. There were still Christmas decorations here and there in the restaurant, which added to the pleasant atmosphere of the place. I ordered a gimlet and their house burger, which was super delicious and juicy with the perfectly cooked burger meat (I ordered medium rare), and my mom ordered their fish of the day option. She also enjoyed her meal and finished everything except for the last bit of her fries. We ordered a skillet-baked cookie topped with vanilla ice cream for dessert. It was the perfect dessert to end a delicious meal. My mom and I enjoyed our time here for dinner, and I highly recommend this place if you are ever in Chicago.

The first dinner during my last visit to CHI in 2023! This time I took my mom there. We shared a pork chop, spatzel mac and cheese and charred broccoli--yes, the pork chop was large enough to share! Everything was delicious. I especially love the pork chop because it was super tender and juicy, pink and soft inside while crispy and salty outside. perhaps the best pork chop cook to medium. My mom likes it too and it was gone in no time haha. The spatzel mac and cheese was just traditional Mac and cheese cooked using spatzel. The spatzel was more chewy than usual mac, definitely great as a side. It would be perfect of the sauce on charred broccoli was warm. Service and vibe was also fantastic. When the front desk saw that we had four big luggage, she seated us at a table where we could put all our belongings easily. So in general this was a great dining experience!

Have always heard about the great happy hour so I met a friend there at the bar. By the way, which is the only place you can enjoy the happy hour drinks and food specials. The bartender took forever to wait on me as he was standing at the other end of the bar with his legs crossed, leaning back chatting with another employee. I had to wave him down to get him to come bring me some water and take my drink selection. The very same thing happened the next time I wanted a drink. And the same thing happened when my friend arrived and wanted a drink. The oysters were OK, nothing fabulous. They used to be a dollar each they're two dollars each. The front end staff were amazing, the people at the hostess stand were warm and welcoming. While we were seated at the end of the bar having a conversation, two of the waiters came up, leaned up against the end of the bar where we were and had a long conversation, we could hardly hear what we were saying to each other because of them.it was a very odd experience. The special drink was really good though.

Came by for dinner with some colleagues and the food did not disappoint! Ordered oysters to start and debated between east vs. west coast oysters and our server recommended getting a mix. The east coast oysters were the clear winner! We all decided on getting the prime rib with baked potato. Though it wasn't a pretty looking piece of meat, it was tender and perfectly cooked. The loaded baked potato was superb as well. Our server seemed to be MIA at the end though when I was hoping to get another glass of sparkling wine, and finally waved him down. Overall, a nice place to go for dinner, would highly recommend!
