First time visiting Region, for a birthday celebration. We were not disappointed! We were there on a weeknight, so not busy, but active. It was not hard to carry on a conversation. We had the Bang-bang cauliflower appetizer- breaded deep fried and with a spicy mayo-type sauce that made it quite delicious. My wife ordered a non-alcoholic version of one of their cocktails and I had a "Preakness", a riff on an old- fashioned. Both were quite good. For entrees, she ordered the meatloaf, which was rich and flavorful. I had the cioppino seafood stew, which had the most amazing broth and lots of different kinds of shellfish and fish. Service was attentive without being obtrusive. Prices were not bad for the quality of food, but it's out of our budget to dine here on a weekly basis. However, we will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed my meal at Region Kitchen and Bar. The food truly stood out, and the menu is packed with so many tempting options--I'll definitely be back to try more.I started with the Smoke Show cocktail, a smoky mezcal drink that was absolutely delicious. For an appetizer, we went with the 500-degree hot rock steak and chose the USDA prime NY strip--it was fantastic. For my main course, I had the 72-hour sous-vide short rib, and it was incredibly tasty.Our server was on top of her game, checking in on us at just the right times. My only small gripe was where we were seated. I was tucked next to the waiters' POS station, and my wife felt a bit awkward being positioned out into the aisle.Overall, though, the dining experience was excellent, and I can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu

Region Kitchen and Bar has been on my "Restaurants to Try" list for a little while and I was able to make a reservation for my birthday. When we entered, the hostess was very welcoming and friendly. Immediately in front of us was a long bar with a glossy wood bar top. It was basically a slice of a tree and looked pretty cool. We were seated in a cozy corner and that made for a more perfect evening.We didn't have appetizers or drinks, but the bar looked cool with a wood countertop with an unfinished (but polished edge). Our server was extremely friendly and helpful with what to order as it was our first visit. My wife is not much of a meat eater so she selected the Salt Roasted Red Beet Salad. Now I'm not a salad lover and I'm definitely not a lover of beets (especially not like Dwight Schrute), however, she loved it. And for $12, it was a huge salad. She took most of it home. I had the Boursin Cheese Stuffed Filet Mignon. It was fantastic! It wasn't too heavy on the cheese and the steak was cooked to perfection. Since it was mu birthday, they brought me a lovely chocolate mousse dessert and it was heavenly. The ambience is perfect for couples and small groups not looking for a loud boisterous atmosphere. I had a great experience and will definitely be back.

This restaurant had good reviews so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the Amish chicken breast and basically it was two boneless chicken breast on a couple of vegetables for $27 to me that was expensive for the amount of food I got. My friend ordered, the French onion burger, which she was not pleased she hardly saw the onion. I looked at photos afterwards online and her burger looked nothing like the photos so maybe it was an off day. Maybe we are the kind of customer who likes a couple pieces of bread on the table and a meal worth the price. We don't mind paying money for outstanding food but my chicken I have to say was tough so it was a disappointing experience for both of us.

On Sunday we celebrated my sister's birthday with a family dinner at Region, which is one of our favorite restaurants. This was the first visit for three of our guests, and everyone had a great time. Chef Dave prepares familiar regional dishes but with an innovative touch. Food is beautiful and delicious! Staff members are well trained and always helpful. Our server Katie deserves a special mention for her knowledge, attentiveness and professionalism.My husband and I are regulars and usually prefer to sit at the beautiful bar, but the dining areas are stylish and more comfortable for larger groups. We love everything about this place!In addition to raves about the food, my niece wanted to take the white chairs home, and my brother-in-law could not stop talking about the silverware!!!

Service was perfect, our waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful with her input. Had the meatloaf made out of fillet, would have preferred regular meatloaf w/o bacon wrap and fillet, needed more mashed potatoes in my opinion. Taste was so so, appetizers were chicken pops, nobody cared for, tuna was ok, onion soup was good, four sliced fillet on crackers were very good. Pork chop was very good.

Always delicious. Had the filet with horseradish crust. I love the mashed potatoes. Others with me had the strip steak and Amish chicken. Both reported they were perfection! I love that you can make a reservation on Open Table. Also the little birthday truffle treat was a bonus. Will be back

Excellent find. We were looking for a restaurant in the area and discovered this on Yelp. Delicious bacon wrapped dates. Outstanding chilean sea bass and pork ribs that fall off the bone. Maddie was a refreshing, friendly server. Definitely worth coming here.
