Great service. Waiter was extremely helpful and on top of his stuff. Started with a side salad. Fresh and the balsamic was very good. For my meal, I had the Grouper special with Pesto and broccoli. The fish was cooked perfect, a little much on the pesto but overall very good

Perfect place to eat after a day of tubing the Salt River. Located on the way back to the freeway, this place is a perfect stop before trudging home. The burgers are particularly good. Fresh, big, juicy and perfectly cooked. The hot sandwiches here are hearty and tasty as well. My wife had the Cobb salad and it was huge and loaded with fresh ingredients. Points off for the nuts sprinkled with cinnamon. That just doesn't go. Maybe the best part was the toffee cake. It was one of the best desserts we've ever had. A moist, perfectly fluffy cake with just the right mix of toffee and white chocolate sprinkles, topped with fresh whipped cream. Yummmmmm. A great stop with something for everyone: pizza, burgers, steak, chicken dishes, salads, and a great desert. Great service too. It's our new Salt River after-float stop.

First, it pains me to have anything negative to say about any place . I really really wanted to like this place more than I did. I didn't dislike it and it wasn't bad, it was just okay. First, there was the weird breadstick thing. After we had received our cocktails and ordered our food, a young man came and asked if we would like breadsticks to which we replied "yes." No breadsticks ever came. We looked around and saw some tables got breadsticks and some did not. It seemed kind of random, and perhaps there is a reason. But don't offer and then not deliver.We ordered a pizza which was fine. It didn't have the char or blistering of a good wood fired pizza (think Cibo or Bianco), but I can't say whether their brick oven is wood or gas. I did notice, again, randomness. Nobody offered parmesan for our pizza or the pizza at the table next to us, but another table with a pizza was offered grated mozzarella by the server (and she spooned out a nice amount). Hubby ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. We were both expecting a nice, juicy, crispy chicken fillet, at a minimum like the chicken sandwich you get at Popeyes or Chick-Fil-a. Instead, it was a flat patty--maybe a half inch thick, if that, with a crumb like breading (see photo). It tasted fine, but it reminded me of the frozen chicken patties from the grocery store.My Cobb salad was delicious, loaded with chicken, bacon, avocado, and blue cheese crumbles. No complaints. The seafood chowder was also really good. Fyi--I've had a few people tell me that this is a more upscale "first date" kind of place. I understand that is subjective, but I'd describe as a much more casual kind of place.

This is a really great spot in Mesa. I sat at the bar and really enjoyed the down to earth ambiance. The staff were very friendly and gave excellent service. The cocktail menu was a lot of fun! The Dude is a must try!

Great place for lunch in Mesa. We got right in at the noon hour too. I had lunch with my sister today. I had a nom blue cheese salad with grilled tenderloin and a tasty Ale. My sister had French onion soup and thought it was tasty maybe a bit too much cheese but she ate it all. The bread was tasty as well.

Great food, good ambience and fantastic service. 1st time here and I have to say that this will be a must next time we are in town. Food was amazing. We had the Wagyu burger and eggplant Florentine. Probably one of the best I've had.

Great service. Food was awesome. Loud during happy hour and dinner time, but it's worth the wait and being there. It's best to make a reservation ahead of time specially if you are with a party of 4 or more. Will keep coming back to it as many times as I can.
