Red Wagon Burgers

I never write bad reviews. I never want to hurt anyone's business. But... I'll make an exception for today's bullshit experience. First I'll say I used to love this place. The burgers were great. I often had a corndog and it was always perfect. Today I took my mom there because she saw a post about their bacon cheeseburger meal for $9.99. When we got there it was $14.99. She is always looking for good fried fish so she decided to try it. I ordered a corndog and some onion rings. Our total was an astronomical $40+! When we got our food the drama continued. My corndog was burnt. And I mean black, split open, and the hotdog looked like a shriveled up old leather shoe. I asked the server to try again. I was shocked it made it to the table. To my surprise a grown man came out of the kitchen and told me he'd try it again but this is what it looks like when it's cooked in his fryer! I was like well you can try again. He said what happens when it looks the same again?!? I said well you can give me my money back. He stormed off and said under his breath you get your money back. The level of audacity and rudeness was unbelievable. Then we tried my mom's fish. The cashier had told us it was cod and they buy it fresh daily. If that was cod, I'm Cinderella. I grew up in Oklahoma and I know catfish when I taste it. AND see it! Those fillets are thin unlike cod fillets. To round it out, the onion rings were oily and mushy and the fries tasted a little of rot. What an absolute shit show. Avoid this place. Bad behavior and bad food. Both the fault of the cook.

When you live in Renton Highlands and we finally get something other than Mexican and Asian food it is very exciting. This place is worth the hype. Burgers were fantastic! And I love that they are putting in a kiosk for orders. IMO they only need to add more variety of dipping sauces. Other than that what they do offer is really good.

Delicious burgers. We didn't try the other items they had on the menu. There are about 8 tables to dine and they can fill up fast. Small family owned restaurant. Very friendly.

Really cute establishment with the animation on the walls. It's not very big so takeout may be be better for most. It's located in a strip so parking is easily available. I went to this location because the one near me in Puyallup is closed in Sunday. My partner discovered this chain while delivering for door dash. It was a Sunday so it was pretty much a ghost town inside. The service is nothing to write home about. They aren't friendly nor rude. Just leveled enough to get the job done. I asked for a side of Mayo more than once and it took forever. I didn't want my sandwich to get cold. My partner had a burger and I opted for a Philly. Both were satisfying. I loved my milkshake more than my food.

We wanted to eat hamburgers and found this place close to our room. I ordered the kids' cheeseburger meal and a chocolate shake...delicious! My husband ordered a cheeseburger... awesome! His burger was handmade, and mine looked like a pre-made patty, but both were very tasty, moist, cooked well, delicious! The milkshake was so chocolaty, so awesome! I would definitely order from here again.

Food was really good! Owner was polite and food was portioned really well. Would come back for a burger for sure 10/10!

The food was delicious. In my boyfriend's words: "that was good! Damn, Good!" The service was great. Our server was kind and friendly.

Came here for my wife's birthday to get fish and chips. Fish was way overcooked and one order smelled fishy. Disgusting. Never again.

My family's 5th visit and it hits the spot every single time!! Our picks: bbq, California & Hawaiian burgers. The handmade milkshakes were sooooo good too! I like supporting a local & family owned business. We definitely go back soon.

This place is one of the best places to have a burger at. I had the monster burger and it was delicious. My husband and kid had Philly cheesesteaks and my youngest had chicken strips. We also ordered mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers. No one left a crumb behind and our tummies were full and happy. Easy to find spot with plenty of parking and friendly staff.
