Well I thought I had left a review but it must have been on oh todo list. This place is amazing 10/10 food. Been here over a dozen times and looking forward to the next dozen. Fine in or take out. Great food.

I have been here several times before and the food is good. Large portions so the cost may seem a little sharp at first (and the menu needs to show prices!) - but when you see the size of the portions it actually turns out to be good value for money. I went in for lunch and ended up with at least 3 full meals out of it with the take home leftovers. However I did order quite a bit of food. I am not sure why an Indian joint is making pizza, except to expand its customer base, but apparently it is very good according to the reviews, so I may check it out some day.I will definitely keep coming back as they have found a loyal customer in me. I will say this: there are better Indian restaurants out there (Tava comes to mind) - however this is perfectly fine for a local curry house. Criticisms? - The music is WAY too loud if you dine in. And I have never been served a glass of water without ice. Either the ice machine was broken or the owner thinks it is 1946 again. The ambience as a result is a little lacking. But a very good location, with alot of decorating potential with very little effort or expense. A good menu and a decent cook or two. Just a suggestion or two... take the menu OFF the wall, for one. Serve ice in the water, and for god's sake turn that crappy loud music off and put in some decent, mellow traditional Indian music! Also the owner was sitting there with You Tube on blast!- ?? 3 fixes to make this place really classy. Food is still great!Still 4 stars from me. Could easily be 5.

We decided to check out this restaurant because of the Google reviews, however, I would not go back ever again. There is hardly any staff there except for the owner and one other lady who brough out our drinks. We asked for vodka and sprite and he said he will make a nice mango cocktail. It was disgusting - had lots of turmeric power, barely any vodka (we asked 3 times to get more vodka and she brought it out in a bowl), it was like a mango lassi drink from the can. For appetizers, the masala papad was decent but the paneer and chili chicken was drenched in tomato paste and hardly had any other taste to it. The paneer had a weird smell to it.With the disappointing experience with the appetizers and hardly touching the food and drinks, we decided to ask for the check and leave. Wish them all the best!

I tried Red Tomatoes Indian Cuisine tonight for dinner for the first time. I think that it's a decent Indian Restaurant. We were greeted by Mr. BK - he is the owner, waiter, chef & cashier. It's his restaurant and he does everything there - this was cool to see and he's a nice guy, but I think he definitely could use some help due to longer wait times for our food. The restaurant is also cold inside so being a jacket. The food was good, the Malai Kofta I ordered spicy, and it was definitely tasty but not spicy at all. The Palak Paneer was good had a nice smoky taste to the sauce. We also tried the appetizer Masala Papad which was nice and spicy. I don't like that rice is an additional cost with entrees when other restaurants include for free. Overall, I'd recommend a visit if it's around you, but wouldn't go out of my way for this restaurant - there are better ones in the area.

This restaurant is located in an area without many businesses around it. Food here is very flavorful and I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the slow service. Bajajji is the owner, chef, cashier, and server. He needs some help as it is hard to maintain this 7 days a week. He was very good with making sure extra precaution was taken for allergies. Most chicken items had nut paste. We ordered samosa chaat and papdi chaat. Both were good. Their dal tarka and palak paneer were delicious. Overall great place to eat with family. Just expect to trade for slow service over good food.

I've eaten at Red Tomatoes for a few times now and I can say that the food had been consistently good. The butter chicken they serve is one the best I've had and comes with a good amount of chicken and the sauce has just the right of richness and spices to it. If you love lamb biryani like I do, the rice is done correctly and not dry unlike some places I've been to; it also comes with a generous portion of lamb. I also recommend their garlic naan and it goes great with anything. Red Tomatoes had become my go to place for Indian food.

Came for lunch on a Saturday, sat next to the fire, enjoyed the most flavorful Indian dishes I've ever had. Chef BK was so kind and hospitable, made great food suggestions and was very attentive to our experience. Can't wait to return! Price point runs on the fine dining side for Indian food. We had 2 veg apps, 1 meat app, 3 veg entrees, 2 meat entrees and 7 beers for $350 with tip. They include tip for parties of 5 in final bill.

Stopped in here with 45 minutes to spend before catching a movie down the street. We were immediately welcomed by BK, who served us a Taj Mahal (22 ounce) to split. He set us up with three sauces... two spicy, one not. The green mint one has a kick, but is my favorite with Indian food. Within ten minutes, he brought out a "BK special" appetizer which were breaded and fried veggies - diced potatoes, carrots, corn. Dipped in sauce, they were a tasty alternative to mozzarella sticks. We split a Hayward 500 (a little stronger at 7.5% vs. 4.5).Definitely going to return to try full menu soon... though the pizza-chalet-bar set up is different, it works in a goofy way. And BK is super friendly and helpful!Side note- Both 22oz beers were $14 each, which is pretty steep, seeing as the liquor store down the street has them at $6.99. But...I get mark-up at restaurants, and did enjoy the 45 minutes at Red Tomatoes.

I went there with some friends about 2 years ago. I took my boyfriend and some friends recently and they were very impressed by the quality and taste of the food. Definitely I will keep coming for my Indian food cravings. Best Indian food out of Devon.

Excellent Indian food in Elk Grove Village. We were intending to go to the Taste of Kerala festival nearby but it was so crowded we couldn't get in, and decided to give this well reviewed restaurant a try. They did an excellent job handling an unexpected influx of people at 2:30 pm on a Sunday. We had malai kofta and goan shrimp curry and both were good. Notably the shrimp curry had a generous number and size of shrimp--probably a dozen good-sized shrimp.
