Red River BBQ and Grill

Even though the smell was amazing as we drove up, and the amount of food served was pretty great, that's where it ended. My wife's gumbo was very spicy but it didn't have much taste at all. I try and stay away from brisket from most places because sadly, many businesses actually dry it out most of the time, but had to give them a chance this time.Although it had fairly decent flavor, it was still kind of dry and you had to drench it in bbq sauce which is not a good thing to say the least.

Ordered this via DoorDash yesterday. Got the three meat combo. It comes with two sides. My friend ordered the baked potato with the chopped brisket. The potato was pretty loaded. It's not going to leave you being still hungry. They do send pickles, Onions, and BBQ sauce with your meal. That's always a plus. I had the ribs, brisket, and jalapeño cheddar sausage. Ribs were tasty and fell off the bone. Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage was a little dry but tasty. I order the Brisket lean by mistake, which probably explains the lack of bark on it. It was a little dry and had to dip it into my bbq sauce. The BBQ sauce they give you is pretty damn good.

Burger was decent and fries. Not the best or worst. Would I go back? Probably not. Unfortunately nothing to write home about.

Bad, bad bad we ordered brisket and basically got beef jerky. We tried to give it to our dogs as a treat... but even they wouldn't eat it. If you want barbecue spend your money elsewhere

Exactly what we were looking for last night. We needed good bbq and went with friends to Red River. I ordered a sliced brisket plate with sweet potato fries and green beans, the rest of the crew ordered from all over the menu and none of us were disappointed. The meat was moist and flavorful, fries sone perfectly, and the green beans didn't taste like they came from a can. The restaurant staff were all very kind and courteous. They have to the table several times to check on us and refill drinks.The restroom was clean and well stocked, the restaurant was clean as well. Outstanding experience!

This is a nice, well run, neighborhood barbecue place. It's lasted quite a while in this location. I can barely even remember the restaurant that was there before hand. I crave their Chopped Beef loaded baked potato! Their Ribs are delicious, and they even have a weekly AYCE Rib special. They have a fresh salad bar available as an addition to your meal. There is a good assortment for f homemade sides to select from for your entrées. The Creamed Corn, and Fried Okra are my favorites -- though I find Mom's Potato Salad a bit too oniony.On my most recent visit, I tried the Wednesday Special...a plate full of 12 large breaded fried shrimp with two sides. I definitely didn't need the salad! I barely could finish my meal. I was taken aback by how spicy the hush puppies were. I wasn't expecting that. But there seems to be chunks of jalapeño in the batter.(Normally when I order a BBQ dish, hush puppies aren't on the plate.)If you're dining with friends, you can customize a bucket of ice cold beers.

Still wonderful after all these years- fresh, delicious and filling with BBQ sauce to die for.

Best ribs in town! You have to go. They're always very friendly when you go in. And it just reminds me of something you would find in Texas.

Delicious BBQ and always fresh! I came for lunch and got these tender, fall off the bone ribs with creamy Mac n cheese and green beans. The counter service was good. Easy and laid back place to enjoy a good meal!

We had an order ready to pick up on Easter, about $500 worth of barbecue. My wife called the night before and said when can I pick it up? The manager said you could pick it up in 15 minutes. I was awesome. It worked out great for us and my family enjoyed all the great barbecue on Easter Sunday. Thank you.
