Red Hot Ranch

They say you can only really trust a fast food burger if it turns the paper bag transparent. Red Hot Ranch passes the test. These are elite smash burgers, with deep meat flavour and seasoning. Fries are crispy and excellent. The price is insanely cheap too, with a double burger and fries only costing $7.

For my husbands birthday he was dying for a good burger. While in town he did his research and found out this was the locals favorite. We made the trek down here and thankfully it was not busy. One thing to notate. They are CASH only. But thankfully prices are super cheap & they do have an atm if need be inside the restaurant. We all opted to burgers and fries. We adored the burgers. They were perfect and the secret sauce is an absolute must have. We ordered a few sides of sauce just for the fries. Fries were fresh and crispy just like I like. Definitely a must try if in the area and thankful we had a great cheap meal for our whole family.

Hello y'all! The fat boy and his wifey were out yup bike riding through our beautiful city and came across RHR! We also made the trip because we saw them on check please. (Lol) anyway we had to have one of these burgers & of course fries! That's a burger side kick, right? Anywho we both got dbl. cheeseburgers & fries. The fries were fresh cut a delicious!! A nice amount of salt on them a solid 8/10.Now normally I get my burgers plain but because RHR has a special house made sauce, I ordered it with some sauce only. The wifey had hers with everything. I loved the smash version of a burger. It tasted soooo homemade! Very, very good! The sauce wasn't bad. It tasted like Big Mac sauce ALMOST! The burger is worth another ride or two back to the Northside! 9/10The Service was very friendly!! And the prices???? One word CHEAP!! Under $20 for 2 dbl cheeseburgers & 2 fries!! Sorry people my greedy self forgot to take pics...... (Remember all reviews are subjective)

Fantastic and cheap hot dogs, burgers, and fries. Try a hot dog with everything on it! The fries are so greasy and soft with crispy edges, just how I like them. A friend loves the burgers here, as well.Always busy but you'll never wait longer than a couple minutes for your food. Not a spot to bring a date but a perfect mid afternoon pick-me-up.

Under $8 for a no nonsense smash burger and fries. Crispy edges on the patty. Well seasoned. What else could you ask for. It's definitely a great lunch or late night spot. Probably the hangover cure burger as well.

Best smash burger in the city and the prices cannot be beat. Double cheeseburger and fries for less than $10. Cash only but worth it. The shrimp and shrimp cocktail sauce they give you are also amazing. Not a huge fan of the fries as they're kinda soft, but that's just not my personal preference.

Want a cheap meal that involves a smash burger? This place is it. Double cheeseburger and fries for about $7, such a steal! Not the best I've had BUT that crispy ends of the smashburger was pretty darn good. Also that cheese sauce for the fries... I would definitely come back just for this.We also got fried shrimp, personally I didn't like it, I thought I've had better fried shrimp, I think it needed more seasoning. Service wise the one lady behind the counter, i thought she was rude. I asked for no tomatoes on my burger and she kept repeating it like I was wrong. Sorry I don't like tomatoes? But other than that they do give you your order pretty quickly. For a fast food joint it was good. I'd come back and hopefully next time I don't get judged for not wanting tomatoes.

Ridiculously good value burger in an ocean of angus boondoggles, Red Hot Ranch is the realest Chicago burger joint for a few reasons:1. Most affordable in the city, like our city is the most affordable big city in the US.2. Price to flavor ratio is unbeatable.3. Fries are manually cranked out right in front of you.4. Cash only with an ATM right there in front of where you order.5. The quickness.The only reason it doesn't have 5 stars is because there's no such thing as a perfect burger. It's a f***ing burger.

Just go, get the double cheeseburger with grilled onions and fries. Just about 8 bucks. Tastes great, juicy, a bit greasy but it's supposed to be that way. Fries are fresh and crispy. This place has the cook down, and it's no frills, and service can come with a little attitude but it's the character of the place.Need to go at least once, you will go back. Red Hot Ranch is an institution and should be visited regularly. While I've gone multiple times for their delicious, Chicago's best burger, this time I came for their equally great hot dog. It was fantastic! A perfect mix of toppings on a wonderful Vienna wiener. Not to be forgotten are their fresh cut fries. Love, love, love!
