Red Cup Cafe is a quiet, cozy place to get a sandwich and coffee near the water. I shared a whole tuna sandwich, cup of clam chowder, and half Caesar salad with another person. The food doesn't disappoint, but it's also nothing amazing. Half the tuna salad sandwich filled me up. There was a good portion of tuna salad in it. The clam chowder was rich, a little salty (in a good way!), and clammy. The Caesar salad was standard. Seeing the clam chowder in a literal cup/mug made me smile. The staff person was very nice and suggested that they could heat up the tuna salad sandwich for us like a melt, since we were hesitant about getting it at first as a cold sandwich.

This little cafe is so cute cozy inside and outside! It is in a great location by the water and ferry. I walked around here with my dog and stopped by to get a light lunch. I sat outside under the sun with my dog, and there was another dog nearby as well! I see people here often just simply getting coffee or doing their work. I had a wholesome soup and sandwich with some chips. Everything tasted really authentic and gave homemade vibes. The staff was so kind and friendly, which completed our experience! I'd love to return again and looking forward to more visits especially during the summertime!

I grabbed lunch to go from here today. I did the Greek wrap and a burrito bowl for a friend. Delicious food and friendly people. Place was busy but it was really good!

I tried the coffee again. Coffee (mocha) is still not served hot just above warm. They have a nice food menu which I will return for. Cafe (inside) is small and noisy so if you're looking for quiet this isn't the place. Perhaps with better weather you can sit outside for more conversation. You can ask to sit with others for more of a community feel!

I have an array of food allergies and I am not always able to eat food in all restaurants so when my friends want to go somewhere I just bring food that I am able to eat when I have no options at the place they want to eat. Everyone needs to win in the end so that's why they don't work around me I work around them. I came in here with my food because I am unable to eat the food they sell here and I was told "I don't want to be a b!tch, but you can't bring outside food, it is a health code violation" in no world is it a health code violation unless she talking about the food she she touches with her bare hands. Won't be coming back here, I apologize red cup to having food allergies.

Love the view there and outdoor seating and indoor seating in their nice vintage building. Only gripes are too much mayonnaise in their deli sandwiches and need some training on how to use the espresso machine. Food is super basic. Asked for a latte... was not a latte. Just a lot of frothy steamed milk and slight hint of coffee. Should have the roaster, Whidbey Coffee come out for training and maybe tune up the espresso machine. The second try at a latte was only slightly better. Maybe a field trip for owner and staff to Narrative Coffee, or Southfork or Red Twig, or Walnut? Also, your menu isn't great for food either. Sample the food at the aforementioned coffee shops. Southfork or Macrina can supply good food menu offerings. You can do much better and have been better in the past. I'm still loyal because this is a great location and nice staff and owner.

This is a cozy spot I go to when I needed to change the vibe. I do work partially online/from home, but it gets "old" sometimes, and Red Cup is usually my first choice when I'm needing to get out of the house. The space is cozy and homey, and the coffee is just great I also found that their food options include a half sandwich and a small bag of chips, which is perfect for a mid-day meal as I was working and didn't need the food coma. Parking can be tricky since the spots in the alley right next to it gets filled up rather quickly and can be a bit tight if you drive a bigger vehicle, but street parking is also available, I believe, in the surrounding area. I usually get there fairly early so it wasn't usually a problem. It can get pretty crowded around mid day too, but it seemed like a local crowd just needed a place to socialize. So if you're working on your computer, noise-cancelling headphones works wonderfully. And sometimes this also means the smaller tables weren't available when I arrived alone; but I always share my bigger table with others if more people started to come it. Yes, it's that kind of cozy place.
