So f-ing good. Fresh juice, friendly service, authenticity, crave-able esquites, yum Pambazo, perfect taco options, amazing salsa verde. All around incredible & delightful.

Do not let the pizza sign fool you. I had the Mexican food at Seattle's Folklife festival and it was AMAZING!!! I was at all 4 days of the festival and I must have stopped at this tent 5x!!! First the quesadillas are life changing! All handmade tortillas, fresh cotija cheese and possibly queso frescos (not 100% sure that the second white cheese was), It had steak, lettuce, and some peppers, and fresh homemade red or green salsa. It was sooo delicious. Reminded me of the food I had in Queretaro Mexico. I could eat this quesadilla every week for the rest of my life. The handmade corn tortillas themselves would be enough of a selling point to return over and over again. The jugo fresco (fresh juice) was also AMAZING!!!!!!!! I tried so many!!! The watermelon I probably had 3x, the tamarind was amazing, the Horchata was one of the best horchata drinks I've ever had, and the hibiscus was also amazing! They also had pineapple, Mellon, lime with cucumber and all sorts of other amazing juices. I cannot stress enough how good this food is!!!!! All that said, the folks running this place are equally amazing! What delightful humans. It was an honor to meet them and taste these family recipes! They are located next to beacon hill station so not having a car isn't enough reason not to visit. They also serve pizza. Though I haven't tried it, I'm curious. Oh and the Esquites (Mexican corn in a cup) was also delicious! Try everything! Including the fruit cups!!! I cannot wait to return!

LOVED THE FOOD! Authentic recipes- you can just tell it's made with love too. I had to order mine less spicy than tradition calls for and the kitchen was happy to accommodate me. We got quesadillas de flor de calabaza, mole dulce, a pambazo, and huaraches. Everything absolutely hit. Plus they make their own jamaica juice and it's stunningly refreshing. I cannot wait to go back with more of my friends. It's a small restaurant but it just makes everyone get closer so I like the vibes :) Kindest staff and ownership!!

The Small food stand next to the Beacon Hill Light Rail turned restaurant!! (New Location: 3007 Beacon Ave S, Seattle, Washington 98108). Congratulations on your grand opening! Recetas de Abuelita & Outsider Pizza is a family-run business located in the heart of Beacon Hill. Upon entering the restaurant, you are immediately greeted by kind hosts :) On the Recetas de Abuelita side, They have an extensive menu from Enchiladas de Mole, Gorditas, Sopes, Tacos and so much more! Or if you're feeling like grabbing some pizza, Outsider Pizza has your traditional pizza flavors (pepperoni, Hawaiian, cheese, margherita), as well as Asada and Al Pastor Pizza! On this visit, I tried the Enchiladas de Mole. This dish is served along with rice and beans, enchiladas are topped off with lettuce, onions and cotija cheese. Very delicious, the mole is a blend of sweet and spicy. Would definitely come back and order the enchiladas again. As well as try the rest of the menu!

Wonderful food and service!! All of the food is flavorful and made with love. If you live in the neighborhood and love Mexican food then WELCOME TO A NEW HIT!!! Congratulations to the folks here on their brick and mortar!! Let's show some support for small local businesses that are adding phenomenal food options to beacon hill. Highly recommended. Rumor has it an alcohol permit is in the works!!!!!!!!

Food was really good and authentic! The owner was checked on us and was really nice. Def would come back!
