Rebelle Artisan Bagels

For a ridiculously priced $9 bagel egg N cheese there better be diamonds in there instead of burnt bagel.The bagel egg N cheese was def not worth $9 and it was smaller than Dunkin donuts size probably smallest i have seen till today . There was nothing Artisan about it other than that it was burnt.I am not sure how people can literally pay this prices for the portion that they had . Luckily i just wanted to try it out since i pass by it everyday but now i know i wont be stopping there anymore.

With honesty and respect, I just really didn't enjoy my experience at rebelle. As much as I like the concept of a fresh hot bagel that doesn't need to be toasted, the bagel I was served was nearly rock hard, room-temperature, and left me wondering why I didn't just pick up a generic (and less expensive) bagel from the grocery store instead. The staff was fine - neither welcoming nor dismissive... just sort of there. Nothing too notable. The store itself appeared to be dirty and not well maintained. Maybe I caught them just before a deep-cleaning day. Perhaps if I'm in the area again I'll have to give rebelle another shot because I do think the concept sounds nice, it just wasn't executed well this time around. Then again, there are plenty of bagel joints in the boston/cambridge area that never seem to have an "off" day. If you're scrolling through yelp looking for solid bagel recommendations then Mamaleh's, Bagelsaurus, Black Sheep, and Pavement Coffeehouse bagels never disappoint! But that's all just one girl's opinion

Soooo glad to have another bagel place in Cambridge! The bagels were great quality--soft on the inside, with a good crust on the outside. Only complaint was that the bagels were on the smaller side. Love all the creative cream cheese flavors they had--the beet, dill, horseradish cream cheese had such good flavor (with an extra little kick from the horseradish). I haven't tried them yet, but they also have a variety of dips, pastries, and I think they cure their salmon in-house (!!!). The interior is super cute and well designed, in love with the branding for this place. I believe they have just started making full bagel sandwiches, but I haven't had the chance to try. Will be coming again to try more bagels and sandwiches!

We had bagels delivered to work today and I was impressed with the everything bagel, lots of spice including salt and generous on both sides of the bagel. The toppings were also impressive, beet, dill and horseradish-I'm in! I didn't toast the bagel, it was dense and chewy so toasting would have added a crunch to it. It also wasn't so large that I couldn't finish it.

Their plain bagel was dry and pithy. It was very underwhelming in taste and texture. I'm not sure if it was even fresh or from the day before...

Great flavors for bagels and spreads. Bagels have great texture as well. The service was great as well. I tried the lox sandwich with harissa cream cheese and really enjoyed it. Definitely will come back!

I had hoped that some of the kinks from the Pawtucket location would have been dealt with, like the extremely hard texture of the bagels and inconsistent filling portions, but they were not.

Food was super fresh and tasty. Bagels were fresh with great size and consistency. I ordered a sandwich but the assembly was a bit of a mess. The tomatoes were on the bread and cucumbers instead of the cream cheese. The cream cheese was just plopped in the center, so it squished right out of the bagel hole. This made everything soggy and slimy. Everything just kept sliding off the sandwich and making a big mess. Rookie sandwich making mistake. I'll definitely try it again as long as they just keep practicing!

I had a great experience at Rebelle! The pretzel bagel with charred scallion cream cheese was crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The bagel/spread flavors are really creative, the coffee is great, and the service is quick. The interior is sunny and the decor is really cute. The number of negative reviews is pretty confusing, I expect to be returning here quite often.

Nice staff, great ambiance, delicious bagels (try the mexican street corn spread)! Loved Rebelle in Providence and it's just as good in Cambridge.
