Ramberto’s Mexican Food

I gotta say out of overall the food here it's amazing. It's delicious fresh meats. I always like fresh and juice. Drinks are phenomenal.

Over priced almost $20 dollars for a carne asada fries and the food is horrible California burrito 0/10 Carneasada fries 0/10 Don't waste your time and money And save your self from disappointment! Switch this spot with some good food Or replace your cheap ingredients with some more fresh ones and maybe I'll pay that price

I'm Not sure how they are still in business. I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito and it was $10.76 .Let me explain.... My chorizo looked and tasted like dried up ground beef. It was just eggs and whatever this excuse for meat was. Nothing else. No real flavors. I basically had to douse my burrito in the red and green sauce that they gave me to add any sort of flavor to it. The only decent tasting thing about this burrito, is the tortilla. He'd be better off going next door to Jack in The box and getting their breakfast burrito.

I have said this before. Being in Southern San Diego we are just spoiled when it comes to Mexican cuisine. We have so many taco shops in the area. So many that they even outnumber 7-11's. So we have a lot of options. Rambertos is a taco shop that has been in the Spring Valley area very early on. It has lasted the test of time. Since then years later, a Jack In The Box was built next to it and after that just recently a Yoshinoya on the other side.One of the reasons Rambertos has lasted so long is the consistent tasting food. The quality control is very good. Right now it's my family's go to taco shop. With a large menu, there are a lot of choices to pick from. Burritos, tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, sopas and carne asada nachos are among the things you can order. Early morning to late night; you don't even have to leave your car. Just use the drive thru window. With so many taco shops around. What makes Rambertos so special? Well first they have been here for years. So they have to be doing something right. With so many changes all around. Rambertos still remains a constant. Secondly, the taco shop serves some of the best Mexican cuisine in the Valley. Thirdly, with everything from gas to groceries. Everything is expensive. Rambertos is affordable and won't break the bank. So support local businesses especially the good ones. Rambertos is exceptional.

I'm so sad to give this place less than 5 stars because they used to be my favorite late night taco shop but they switched their fries from thin cut to thick cut and fries were soggy. They charge for additional salsas and limes but it's hard out here so I understand. I still gave 4 stars because they're open 24-hours, the food was piping hot, and their salsa verde was really good. The carne asada fries came with creamy guacamole, carne asada, and shredded cheddar cheese. I recommend adding sour cream but they do charge extra.

Decided to stop by RAMBERTO'S TACO SHOP after a long drive. Beforehand we checked RAMBERTO'S TACO SHOP menu to see if we liked how they prepared carne asada fries and cali burritos. We paid 14.99 for fries 10.99 for a burrito. Our food didn't come as described. I may be hangry right now, but for taco shop prices like this I'm pretty disappointed.The cali burrito was missing sour cream and avocado. It was only carne asada, cheese, fries. :(Carne asada fries was missing sour cream and had a sprinkle of cheese on the corner. :(We were hungry and had a far drive back so dealt with it, and drenched our food in mediocre salsa.Thanks RAMBERTO'S TACO SHOP I feel pretty ripped off.

Suck with their customer service at this location in San Diego, California. Sorry as I've heard so many good things about this location. Have taste the food, yet. How it taste better than the service.

Machaca burrito redeemed Rambertos from my last experience. Hot, delicious, well balanced between beef, vegetables, and eggs. Red salsa slaps on this burrito.

Place is very good don't believe any of the reviews they are trolls hating on the place. It's been here since 1989. The quality is still the same flavor same hot sauce. overall had it since high school but it's been like 11 years the California burrito and carnitas burrito and shrimp burrito other items Are epic n delicious the name of the restaurant is ramberto's mexican food not taco shop you really can't say this place sucks because they have orange bang and piña colada drinks and Horchata and Jamaica you can't beat a place that is open 24 hours

This might be one of the worst Taco shops in SD. Food is dry and tasteless. Carne asada burritoIs dry, shredded beef tacos dry, carne asada fries DRY
