Great spot! The interior decor really brought us right back to japan. The service was good & some of the staff and chefs were definitely japanese as we overheard them conversing! Food was delicious! We got some apps to share. Chicken Karaage was juicy and crispy, and the crunchy mayo shrimp was perfect. They also gave us edamame to snack on before the apps. I got a cheese tonkatsu set. The pork was perfectly cooked and tender, loved the miso soup and cabbage salad. My fiancé got a tonkatsu-don bowl which was flavorful and comforting. My brother in law got the shoyu tonkatsu ramen and he said it was great and had one of the best ramen eggs he's tried. Huge piece of chashu pork ontop as well! Overall delicious and authentic japanese food! Can't wait to come back to try their other menu items!

A Tonkatsu Travesty: Beware the Restructured Pork Patty! When you think of tonkatsu, you imagine a perfectly crisp, golden-brown pork chop, juicy and tender on the inside, a harmony of textures and flavors. Today, however, I experienced a culinary nightmare that will haunt my taste buds for weeks. Let me introduce you to Raku, a place that turned this beloved Japanese dish into a monstrous misadventure.Walking into Raku, I was filled with anticipation. The decor was charming and fun. I eagerly ordered their tonkatsu plate, expecting a delightful dining experience. What I received was a profound disappointment.Imagine my shock when I bit into my tonkatsu and discovered the meat was not a succulent pork chop but a sad, restructured pork patty. Yes, you read that right--a restructured pork patty! It was as if someone had taken the scraps of pork, glued them together, and passed it off as a legitimate tonkatsu. The texture was bizarrely uniform, lacking the gratifying bite of a real pork chop. The flavor? Dry, bland, and uninspired, devoid of the rich, savory taste that defines good tonkatsu. The breading, usually the crowning glory of tonkatsu, was another letdown. Instead of a golden, crispy coating, it was pale and oily. As if the culinary crime wasn't enough, the sides did nothing to redeem the meal. The rice was not hot, the miso soup was lukewarm and insipid, and the dressing on the cabbage salad was meh. The dipping sauce was really good, but based on the quality of everything else, it was probably straight out of a jar.AND they charge $18 for this ultra-processed crap.

The atmosphere was wonderful, I love the anime all around. The tonkotsu ramen broth was delicious, topping were good but the chashu pork was dry. The onigiri salmon I was not a fan, the salmon was at the bottom and the overall onigiri had no flavor. I do suggest giving this place a try cause I could have just choose poorly and the other dishes they serve is better.

Best ramen spot at Duluth! The ramen broth is super savory, and the pork Chashu tastes amazing! I also love the pork tonkatsu plate, it's also a MUST-TRY! I would recommend not to have it with the cheese, because the pork itself is already so delicious!

It's totally my fault that I didn't know about this place sooner! it's a must for anime and ramen lovers! The Naruto Ramen was incredibly flavorful, and the zaru soba with tempura was perfect for summer. My friend enjoyed the maze-men and cheese katsu. Def try the unique osatsu sundae for dessert--sweet potato and ice cream make a perfect combo

(3.5 STARS)Ambiance here is amazing, the decor is so cute and trendy- I'm sure anime fans will love this place! Our server was fast and attentive to us- she did not disappoint! As for the food, it was honestly underwhelming. We got the Naruto ramen which I did not like and the Udon which was just okay in my opinion.

We craved crispy Tonkatsu after our trip to Japan, so we found Raku Tonkatsu + Ramen as one of the slim options available in the ATL region. Things you should know: I. PARKINGThis business is on the left side of the Super HMart Plaza and shares a free, public parking lot with the adjacent businesses. Simple.II. SERVICE Timely and to-the-point. The theme here is cute ~ they have popular anime posters filling the walls. III. QUALITY Crispy & delicious and served like you would experience in Japan. Rice, cabbage salad, and miso soup included. The cabbage salad was great, but I wish it was bottomless for the hefty fee the meal costs in America. The sauce was great also but I would recommend asking your waitress for more ~ it wasn't enough. IV. CAPACITY No wait to be seated for a Sunday evening. They had a fair amount of tables available.

Under new ownership!I've been to Raku several times over the years but this is this first time I've tried Raku under their new owners . The new owners come from Japan and brought their authentic tasty food with them. The original Naruto ramen is what I ordered and it was delicious. The noodles were cooked to perfection and the soup broth was delicious! I would highly recommend giving the Naruto ramen a try because I would personally have to rank this ramen one of my favorites that Atlanta has to offer.
