Rakiraki Ramen & Tsukemen

Raki Raki is by far the best accommodating restaurant in the convoy strip if you are trying to have a group that has folks who aren't huge fans of meat because it's connected to Yasai, the only fully japanese vegetarian restaurant that I know is in the area. Folks here are super sweet and the food always comes out fast. I would recommend trying the tomato soup ramen or the Shoyu. The food is really good, and this place is one of the better ramen spots in the area.

Great restaurant that serves delicious ramen dishes and other Asian fusion fare. The ramen dishes are fantastic quality with a good protein ratio and the service was friendly as well. Tip: check in on Yelp gets you a free soda which is nice. Ambiance of the restaurant is lively and busy but comfortable.5 stars!

i've heard of this place through word of mouth and various videos through social media, so we decided to try it out for the first time! service walking in was great, everyone would great you and the space was a little small yet cozy and welcoming. the vibes inside were very casual and i loved the decor inside as well. however the music choice definitely threw me off, it was very saddening in contrast to the brightness and welcoming feeling of the store.the service from the servers was great as well, and we got our food pretty quickly! my boyfriend had the kimchi ramen and i had the rikimaru spicy miso tonkotsu, and we also got the rakiraki roll and the extra crispy crunchy roll. i loved how the broth was flavorful and the noodles were chewy and bouncy. the crunchy roll was indeed very crispy, which was probably my favorite item out of everything we got here! this place might take the cake of being one of the best in the area, and i'd definitely come back for another try! :)

I was looking for a spot that was open late given the timing and the convoy location is open until midnight every day! I got the kimchee ramen and it was insanely good. HUGE portion and very rich, you might finish it but likely not. I definitely recommend trying this one if you like ramen and kimchee it's a great combination.

Rakiraki Ramen on Convoy is an incredible spot for ramen lovers! The ramen here is amazing and the ambiance makes you feel like you always want to come back. Their spicy miso broth is absolutely divine and a must-try.However, I had to give this place 4 stars because it felt like we were forgotten after we ordered. The waiter may have been new, but checking back in with clients after they order could easily elevate this place to a 5-star experience. Overall, a fantastic place for ramen with just a bit of room for improvement in the service.

Wonderful ramen joint. I have been going here for a while and it has never failed to disappoint. I usually got the classic tonkotsu and it is really great. The service is also great, they are very accommodating for all of your needs and even though the restaurant is always busy they always are sure to answer any questions. Regarding the ambiance of the restaurant, it is really nice and clean. Although as mentioned before, the restaurant is usually very crowded with at least a 20 minute wait if you want to go get dinner. Parking is very difficult to find so that is always something to watch out for when visiting. Overall, I would highly recommend getting dinner here. Convoy is a great area to get food and you can get dessert right after at a nearby restaurant. Be prepared to wait a little.

It was ok! The parking lot is a mess and busy, especially on a busy evening. There was a very short wait for me (about 10 mins) but I also went at around 9pm after dinner rush. They do have a big space and it can get very loud inside.I ordered the Hakata Tonkatsu Ramen. The broth was flavorful and not too salty but the noodles weren't chewy. It was more tough and hard? Just not what I'd want my noodle texture to be for a ramen. The portion size is good though. Overall I don't think I'd come again as there are other ramen places I'd choose over Rakiraki.

Hands down some of the best ramen in SD! Being open late, they're our go-to after a night out if we're in the mood for something warm. I always always get their Red Edition Ramen: Jukusei Fermentation. It's literally comfort (with a bit of a kick) in a bowl! Amazingly decadent broth, springy and thick noodles, and tons of toppings (they're not shy about loading up your bowl). My favorite part has to be their thick garlic chips sprinkled on top. SOOO yummy! Absolutely worth having to deal with some gnarly breath afterwards.

Rakiraki Ramen is one of our go-to ramen locations in San Diego. It is always busy; however, the waits are short (if at all) and the service is fast. Parking can sometimes be challenging in the parking lot; however, there is a nice amount of additional parking on the side street.They have a nice variety of ramen and sushi choices. We have tried most items on the menu and have never been disappointed. The wife's favorite is the original tomcatsu with organic chicken. My favorite is the curry chicken ramen. We have been delighted with each dish ordered. The staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful. Stop by and enjoy the experience.

Food Was HOT to serve , Food was delicious I wish that the curry tonkatsu had a little more curry gravy . But over all food was good !!
