Just before they announced the "Lucky 20" persons who won a FREE chicken box for a year. Their newest location opened shortly thereafter.

I feel weird reviewing raising canes chicken, we all know it's the best chicken strips for a chain restaurant. Did I mention this location closes at 2am if you haven't been here your missing out you at least got to try it ones in your life . Clean, good service, cool atmosphere inside .

Service was great but the FOOD!!The chicken strips had a perfect crispy texture but that was it. It tasted like the chicken batter had no salt or flavor. The chicken also had a weird taste as if the oil was bad or something previously in it burned and tainted the taste. My kid usually loves chicken strips but she couldn't finish one due to the taste and it was both our first time going. Needless to say we only at the fries and bread. To make matters worse I later got food poisoning that night from the chicken. What a horrible first experience. Lastly the special sauce, not sure if this comes pre made to the locations but there was a heaping amount of black pepper. We both again couldn't use it and kept to using ketchup. My sisters who is a regular at Cane's even said something in the sauce and chicken was of so the entire table didn't finish their food. No pics this trip because we left as I started feeling nauseous.

Raising Canes why are you like this? Such a popular franchise, I would expect so much more. The young employees working were actually very good, polite and professional... But the food.. the chicken strips were unremarkable. The sauce, I did not care much for the flavor it. It wasn't sweet, or tangy, or creamy. And the fries though, were a bit soggy, no crisp at all. The coleslaw and Texas toast were okay. I remember enjoying the raising canes meal from the Santee location more.. as well as a location in Vegas... Drive thru has multiple cars that circled around a bit, but it goes fast.

One of my kiddos wanted to eat here so we stopped by. It was so packed and busy. The restaurant was decent considering the crowd. It's kind of expensive as I paid $29 for two meals. My kiddo loves it, but I'm indifferent to it. I probably wouldn't come here if she didn't ask lol

The food was not flavorful, really had no flavor, unlike all of the other Cane's Restaurants...There was a very long drive through line, but they have 2 order taking stations for the lines. The waiting to order took about 8 mins in line. The wait to merge with the other order station line was about 5-6 more minutes. My food was not ready at the pickup window (2nd window) after I paid at the first window. I waited about 5 more minutes, and then the pickup window lady had my order.I was pretty excited to get home to try my food, which took me about 6 minutes driving. We ordered 2 of the chicken sandwich combos, plus 2 canes sauces ($.40 each) Well, we got home and I washed my hands and sat down to eat my meal and the sandwich and fries were still warm. Problem is that the chicken tenders were SUPER BLAND and had no flavor! What is going on?!? Is this really a Raising Canes? The fies are warm but seem old and not very salted n or seasoned either. The Arnold Palmer (half lemonade & half iced tea) was decent, on the sweet side.I will probably not return here. I will drive to Santee to have the only good Canes in San Diego, because this was a waste of time and money. It is disappointing because the Canes brand has such a good reputation. Please make sure that you are seasoning the chicken strips and french fries. The odd thing also to me is that they only have one main product (chicken fingers) and they didn't do that main product justice tonight. Thanks for being open.

This Raising Cane's Store was very busy....at least 20 cars in the drive thru when we got here. We decided to do by the counter order. We got our order within 25 minutes from the time we got inside, place our order and received our Caniac Chicken with 6 Tenders. It was fresh and delicious.Dining was messy..The lady at the counter was friendly.Overall it was a good visit.

First I like to say the food is good, like most Cane's the chicken, fries, bread is always fresh & good. Now the wait can be a bit especially on weekends but it's understandable it's busy but this place it seems to take longer & that's when the customer service kicks in & why this location gets 2 stars. I've been here a few times because it's in Chula Vista & I live there but for now on we'll go out of our way to go to the Santee location because of the customer service. Most of the workers here look sad, annoyed or just not interested to work & it shows in their faces & work. The last 3 times I went most the tables were dirty & the floors too, we saw people wiping tables down before they sat down & we had to too all 3 times & we had to kick trash from under our table, not cool. And their trash can was over flowing to the point people just left the trash on the tables because they had no where to put it. A couple times we went the tea & condiments were empty so they had someone refill it & that same person just ignored the messy tables, floors & trash cans which he could of came back to clean instead he just went back & disappeared behind the register & honestly both times the inside was not that busy someone could of cleaned the lobby real quick. The last time we were inside for 45min & not once did I see anyone clean or throw out the trash at all, customers were wiping their own tables. They either need to hire an extra person to clean or have the managers be more alert of the situation or hire workers who care & want to work there. No one is saying we need red carpet service, just care a bit & clean a few tables & trash cans & smile. Get it together Chula Vista Cane's.They do have a great sauce but we'll just get it now in the Santee location.

Here on a Saturday night and it's busy! Drive thru is long but if you park and order inside it's faster than waiting in the drive thru

I went through drive thru and the worker who took my order was pretty robotic. Nothing special, but that's to be expected. I ordered the Caniac Combo with an extra toast and two more sauces. When I got home to my wife about 20 minutes later, I discovered my order didn't come with any coleslaw and only came with 5 chicken fingers instead of 6! We were hungry and I wasn't about to drive another 20 minutes back, so we just heated up some chicken nuggets from the freezer to offset that missing piece. Pretty lame experience.

Omg Raising Cane's is seriously good ya'll. Their chicken strips has more of a crunchy breading compared to Chick fil a. Not too salty as your supposed to dip them in their house sauce, which is fantastic with a sweet salty flavor. The Texas toast is a nice complement. Sweet tea is refreshing. Fry's are good too. Came to the new location in Chula Vista. This place is located at the CV Mall fyi.The food and customer service was great. My only and number 1 complaint, is the ridiculous set up for their drive thru line. Couldn't figure out where to enter and exit. So many cars and the line was super long. Put your patience pants on, you'll need it. They need to figure out a better system or rope a lane down the parking lot cus this place is insane.
