This place is a wonderful gem! My husband and I have been here a handful of times and each time we have a great time! The food is very yummy (BBQ onion ring burger, fish and chips, Rainier, BLT.. are some of the items we have tried). Our favorite is the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream served in a hot skillet. We drive an hour just to get the brownie for special occasions LOL. Service is always fast and servers are friendly. This place gets busy in the evenings and weekends, but nice and slow earlier in the day and weekdays (like everywhere else). I highly recommend stopping by next time you're in Enumclaw!

Stopped in over the weekend after hiking in Rainier. We wanted a place where we could sit down and order food/beer. It was pretty busy, but we had no trouble grabbing two seats at the bar. The interior is fairly standard bar decor and they had several TVs on. Our bartender was quick to get us drinks and menus and even offered a sample of one of the beers I was interested in. This was especially appreciated because she was definitely very busy. We both ordered burgers and while they weren't medium as requested (more medium-well/well done) the flavor was good. I'm much less worried about the burger being a bit over when the flavor and juiciness are still there. Bonus points for offering tater tots as a side option. Really happy with our experience and wouldn't hesitate to come again when we're in the area.

I love the burgers. The burgers are very flavorful. They have a nice char (you know the kind that people that know how to really cook a burger) and great accompaniment (roll, lettuce, onion, pickle spear). I don't know what meat (chuck vs sirloin, etc.) they're using but it's a good grind - not gristly, no chunks of fat, very flavorful, nicely seasoned and you get to choose your choice of doneness. Personally, I'm loving the burger with blue cheese, no tomato but extra pickles. They also have A1 steak sauce which always goes well with blue cheese. You can't go wrong with either fries or onion rings, but I'd suggest getting an onion ring appetizer and fries with the burger. My adult sons are now hooked, so anytime we're nearby we'll be chowing on some great burgers!

Great bartenders. Welcoming friendly and excellent service. Ordered the ahi tuna. Was cooked perfectly. Seared with a. Ice sesame crust. They gave me wasabi but didn't serve it with any soy. Has to ask for that. I highly recommend visiting. The place was active but not too loud. It made for a great setting

We've driven through/past Enumclaw many times, but this is the first time we were actually in the "downtown" area. There are so many restaurants/pubs and wine bars it was hard to choose which one to have lunch at. We chose this one at random...and it was an "almost" great choice. We were here around 12:30 on a Tuesday, the place was busy but not packed. We sat down and a young person gave us menus and took our drink orders, returned with them right away and then we waited......it appeared that there were two servers and one bus person (the one that took our drink orders) both of the servers walked past us several times until we stopped one and asked if we could order. She immediately apologized and said she and the other server split/swap tables and thought the other server was taking care of us. I appreciate this system as it allows each server a fair share of tables, but you need to have a very clear communication system to be certain things like this don't happen. These days my Hubby and I often split meals, which is what we told the server, and we got the French dip with sweet potato fries and also a side of garlic fries. The server asked us if we wanted any sauces with our order, we got the tarter and the garlic/pepper mayo, both house made and so good! The garlic/pepper mayo had just the right amount of pepper. The garlic fries came out first and they were amazing!!! Hot, fresh and they top them with an herb garlic which has so much more flavor than just garlic. We got the sandwich with Swiss cheese and sautéed onions. They put the sandwich on two plates which is always appreciated. The sandwich was just okay; the bun was supposed to be toasted but just felt/seemed stale. The cheese wasn't melted and the onions were stacked in the center. The meat had a decent flavor, nothing spectacular, but there was plenty of it. The au jus was okay, again nothing special. Despite the initial server mix up, ours was attentive and friendly. We liked the look and feel of this place, their drink menu looked interesting and reasonably priced. We both agreed that we should come back one evening and check it out.

Rainier Bar & Grill has the most friendly and enjoyable staff. We love to sit at the bar top when we visit, and each time, the bartender has been warm, friendly, and conversational. They make tasty drinks and check in frequently enough that you are never left waiting or wanting something. My fiancé has several severe food allergies and they are so good about his allergies! Sometimes we feel uncertain if we can trust places we have never been, but our server immediately put our minds at ease. She recorded his allergy list and said they have a button in the kitchen for allergies, so they push it and it lights up so the cook staff knows. This is awesome for communication and we felt at ease eating there. We love a good pub, bar, or grill, and the ambiance here fits the bill for being cozy, approachable, warm, clean, and friendly. The perfect combination.I have also come here with my family, and here is all the food I have tried (and I have enjoyed all of it): 1) The sweet potato fries are SO bomb. They are crispy and skinny and packed with flavor, and better than the regular fries in my opinion. Don't forget a dipping sauce!2) The calamari, clams, and seared ahi. Delicious and fresh, which I am sometimes not sure about when I think small town and a bit further from the water.3) The burgers and the fish and chips. They come out steaming hot, which I love. The burgers come with a thick slice of pickle, which is nice because some places give small pickles or not very much.I hope you enjoy Rainier Bar & Grill as much as we do!

I'm just going to leave this here for educational purposes. The manager decided not to serve me after she saw my ID said "not for real ID purposes". Meaning I won't be able to use my my ID to fly in the airport starting in may 2025. After hiking the Burroughs all I wanted was to be able to enjoy a draft Rainer. Unfortunately due to her not willing to listen to me, the customer service lacked. I will not be returning. The food was decent though. I wouldn't put that down. Although if the service isn't up to par I cant support an establishment. It's also wild to me because this is the same ID I use to fly for my job, to do my taxes, buy alcohol, and everything else you need an ID for identification purposes.
