Rainbow Tacos

Sidewalk taco diner with minimal seating options inside and out. They are situated on a parking lot and spots are available(?) though, the folks running the daycare next door tend to be short tempered depending on where we park. No signs indicating anything though.The stand is dated, dingy and could be cleaner. However, the people that run it and the quality with fresh ingredients is where they do best. Food is affordable and there are lunch specials offered daily.When it's warm outside they offer homemade fresh lemonade. It's worth a taste if you prefer real sugar & lemons.

I chose no beans for chimichanga since I don't like beans in Brito, then rice came double. FYI: The options such as as "no beans" and "no rice" mean side dishes. Good portion, reasonable price, and quick serving.

Swung by here for a to go lunch today and as usual when I try new spots, I want to order everything to try everything.So I ordered 2 Carne Asada and 2 Al Pastor tacos with onions and cilantro. I also ordered a Torta de Pollo de Res.After a few bites of each, I enjoyed the Torta as it was huge and paid the $1 extra for avocado. The Pastor was flavorful but a bit greasy and the Asada tacos had plenty of meat but it tasted over cooked a bit.The inside seemed a bit run down. I felt it would be best to get a to go order. There is a parking lot in the back that's convent.I'm not in a rush to go back.

This place exceeded our expectations. The tacos are amazing and so fresh. The guacamole was a bit bland but the tacos make up for that. The service is great and the food came out fast. Can't wait to go back again.

While my overall experience is positive, they are fast, tasty, not unfriendly and by no means the most outrageously overpriced, the steak's alpha is killed by gristle-risk. About 1 in 5 steak orders - tacos, burritos, skirt steak - will contain gag-reflex-inducing levels of gristle. So you pay $20-30 and you will undoubtedly vomit if you finish your meal. As 45 would say: sad. My fault. They keep pulling me back. I'll be thrilled with the pork & chicken and ask myself: was the bad steak order aberrant? And I will order steak 3X and be delighted. But trust me, if you order steak regularly there is an indigestible hunk of gristle with your name on it. Never again. For at least 2 months.

Stopped by for some late night tacos. Fast friendly service and really nice Al Pastor tacos.

The food was four stars, but unfortunately the customer service brought Rainbow Tacos down one more star. The outside of the building is simple but colorful, and the smells coming from it were enough to draw us in. The person taking our order sadly didn't have a great attitude, and almost seemed annoyed that we were there. I wasn't sure what to order but felt the need to decide quick, so I went with tacos. I ordered one carne asada and one pollo. The wait for food was a bit longer than we had expected, which we honestly didn't mind since it meant they were making it fresh. When we did eventually get our food, I was impressed! The tacos were small, so I would probably go for three if I wanted to make a full meal out of it, but two made for the perfect snack. The carne asada with the clear winner. The steak was cooked and seasoned really nicely! The pollo lacked flavor in comparison. If I were to order from here again, I would probably place an order online for pick up :)

Hard to find a decent Mexican street food place in the city. Don't go looking for flash and if you want a taco salad go to a diner. This place is barebones good easy food that's seasoned great. As a Mexican this is my go to spot. the rice and beans are exactly as they should be. Al pastor is the best in the area (not the best ever but the tacos are dope) which is always in my book how you can tell if everything else is good. And one of my fave things to get is their sope with any protein. (which also doubles as a huarache). Also if you dine in it's super low budget there's tables outside and no ac inside. But the service is 100

Food: terrible , I ordered a taco salad with no beans and they still gave me beans. It wasn't the person who took the order, my receipt says "no beans" but the cook just didn't pay attention. Luckily I'm not allergic to beans but imagine if I was! The food wasn't even tasty either, very mediocre, no flavor. Ambiance: Run-down and dirty building. I would not eat here again. Spare yourself and try another taco place.
