Still have great food here, but the prices have gone up quite a bit since inflation. I understand prices going up some, but 30 bucks for two eggs and bacon breakfast meals is a little ridiculous.The bartenders make good drinks!

I had the ham, tomato and cheese one let's topped with hollandaise and it was awesome; really elevated above most other omelettes I've eaten. Also, the coffee was good and the service was truly excellent. I highly recommend Rainbow Cafe for breakfast!

If you're looking for a solid meal and appreciate small businesses, Rainbow Cafe is the place for you. I enjoyed breakfast here this morning. The owner greeted me and thanked me when I was getting ready to leave. My server was both friendly and efficient. I ordered the veggie omelette with hashbrowns and toast. I was glad that I went with the half order, as it was more than enough for me. The hashbrowns were nice and crispy on top; everything else was good too.Two minor complaints--the booths were a bit too well worn, and the restroom floor was sticky.All and all, a good experience.

A staple in the Auburn community for years. It has been quite some time since I visited last. Most people on a midweek breakfast were at the modernized bar in the back. I choose a seat in the front, for old times sake.The breakfast menu is pretty extensive with a special on the board. I chose the chicken fried steak and eggs. It was great! The waitress was friendly and took care of me throughout. The place hasn't changed much, just solid good food.
