Been here a few times during my time in university as an undergraduate. When this place officially opened, my organization wanted to do a fundraiser here and our first fundraiser with R&B Tea didn't disappoint! I also come by here time to time to try out other drinks that they offer.The menu variety is plenty and the service greetings you when entering and they say goodbye when you exit; they are very responsive, 5/5. I also like the atmosphere of the place it gives more of a social and friendly vibe.I bought the egg coffee with boba to see if I like it. It's pretty much Vietnamese coffee with egg foam. As a viet, the coffee wasn't strong to my liking and I didn't taste any egg flavor or any textural impact when mixing my drink after drinking half way through. Overall I would rate this drink a 3/5. The flavor needs to be bolder.

I've seen ads and social media marketing for R&B tea for a long time but never had a chance to stop by. I happened to be in the area with a deep thirst so I thought it'd be the perfect time to try it. It was one of the few boba shops open at 11am so I appreciate how early they open. They were definitely in the Halloween spirit as the inside was decked out in spooky decor. I was impressed with the menu. They definitely had a wide variety of drink options and even served bubble waffles. As I stated, I was super thirsty so I ordered two drinks: stormy taro with boba and mango horchata.The stormy taro is a slushy like taro milk tea with cheese foam whipped throughout. The horchata was not was I expected as it was a horchata with real mango topping rather than the mango flavored horchata I had assumed it would be. I loved the stormy taro. I wasn't crazy about the horchata, not because it was bad it just wasn't what I expected. I do plan on returning to try the avocado stormy and the Brazilian lemonade. I would recommend R&B tea for solid drinks that give you the classics but also have something for those who are more adventurous.

Although they were packed on Chinese New Year, the line moved quickly, and our two drinks were ready within ten minutes. I ordered the Taro Stormy, which is listed as one of their most popular drinks on the menu. It is absolutely delicious and has a creamy texture due to it being one of their stormy drinks. Lots of space to sit inside or outside and enjoy a drink or watch the dragon dance.

This place is a nice boba shop near the h mart in China town! I got the winter melon milk green tea - half sugar and it was delicious! I was in a group of 6. Unfortunately - they got one or two of the drinks wrong. They corrected it by letting us keep the original but just a mess up that affected the experience!

R&B Tea is located in the bustling streets of Chinatown (aka Bellaire Blvd) in Houston and is another addition to the multitudes of boba shops on the street. Their menu is pretty diverse, and they have fruity drinks to "stormy" drinks to the OG milk tea. I tried their matcha stormy, avocado stormy, Vietnamese iced coffee, and Hawaiin fruit green tea. Their portions are pretty large, especially their Hawaiin fruit green tea, but the prices are a bit more strep to match the bigger portions. Although I have only tried the avocado and matcha stormy, the stormy series is definitely my favorite. The avocado stormy is super creamy, and it has the perfect amount of ice and is not too icy or too sweet. The matcha stormy has a balance of matcha and the cream which has a bit of salt in it, almost like cheese foam, and the mixture blends well together. Their Vietnamese coffee was standard, and their milk tea was not too sweet, which I appreciated. Their Hawaiin green tea was okay, and it tasted a bit watery when I had it. Their boba is also usually done well when I come, slightly overcooked and softer than I prefer but still decent. Overall, this place has been my staple for smoothie drinks, as their stormy series is one of my favorites!

I was finishing up my late lunch and dinner around the area and decided to visit R&B Tea before I headed home. I have visited this location many times and would say it is in my rotation for places to get boba.Walking in the staff are always welcoming and greets once you step in. I don't often get to order at the register because of the walk up machine to place and order being available. But I decided to go with 3 drinks: Jasmine green tea, classic milk tea and a Vietnamese coffee. You are able to adjust the sugar level and ice on the drinks except for a few exceptions on the menu. But I always know the drink are made very well whenever I stop in. The Jasmine green tea is always refreshing, the classic milk tea is a pick for simplicity without the additional add ons and the Vietnamese coffee is balanced, not so strong and not so sweet.The store has a really nice space and astronaut mural on the wall. But as well I seen they added a new prize machine now. Seating is a good amount for groups. I do enjoy the atmosphere at R&B tea.Overall it really is a solid boba shop. It is a bit of a challenge for the saturated amount of other business that does boba in Chinatown but this has been a favorite of mine. Never a bad experience for me and the staff are friendly. Probably the only concern would be located in a busy plaza but nothing major. A recommendation for me and the fruit tea is a great pick too.
