Love it. it's got that Diner feel and serves up excellent breakfast.I'm never disappointed with the breakfast when I come here. Their portions are large and will not leave you hungry. Been here a few times but The last time I came here, I got the Fresh OJ (which is a must) and their special blueberry pancakes. SO good. So sweet and flavorful and the blueberries were totally in season and perfect. Really hit the spot. Other people got their waffles and fried chicken ....everything was quite yummy! It's a great place to stop by for a yummy brunch and it just felt calm. After, we were able to just walk down the Ave and it was a great day.

Tried this place for the first time out of the blue. We were in the neighborhood and got hungry. Ordered California omelette. It wasn't the best, it didn't have a wow first bite (tasted like Dennys) and the hash-browns was crispy looking on the outside but very mushy and not cooked enough in the inside. Pro: Lots of parking in the old Safeway lot across the street.

Your scenario about how I was treated at your restaurant is complete fabrication and bullshit. I was not talking on my phone I was simply playing a game to pass the time when I notice the older white couple being taken care of as I had just been discarded. There was no 5 minutes scenario ever brought up to me. Novone considered me after I was discarded. I had to walk up and ask what was happening and why I was discarded and the white couple was not. I spent 16 years in restaurants as a waiter, cook, assistant kitchen manager and kitchen manager. I have been involved in opening a dozen restaurants. I just wish people could accept responsibility for their actions in their mistakes! But since you folks haven't come to terms with that I will continue telling everyone I know how I was treated at your at your racist restaurant

Came at 12:30 on a Tuesday. Moderately busy here. Amazing service, delicious sandwich (Wonder Bird) and crinkle fries and coffee. Perfect '90s diner vibes. Exactly what I was looking for!

Adequate diner food. Massively understaffed - we felt terrible for the waitstaff who were running around the restaurant with way too many tables: if you're there for brunch, you need your coffee in relatively short order, and they were just too understaffed and so we sat at our table waiting for coffee (even before our order was taken) for 15 minutes, and even then we had to flag someone down and ask, politely, for caffeine. Staff was lovely and helpful but very, very harried and overwhelmed. Hash browns were crispy and cooked in long-dead cooking oil that had a strong off flavor. It takes a lot for me to not eat my hash browns, especially when my huevos rancheros three egg dish looked like a scant two, but I couldn't eat them even with copious ketchup. The rest of the meal was nondescript.Spouse's meat lover omelet was "ok not great" - also heard "I wouldn't go back." We were here several years ago and really enjoyed it, but between the staffing shortage and food quality... we'll try other places instead of returning.

If I could this place 0 stars I would. We waited over an hour to get our food, after ordering immediately. As I'm typing this I still haven't gotten my food and probably won't ever.Just go anywhere else I promise you'll be happier

The morning after I arrived in Seattle, my friend woke me up and said "we gotta get some food - this Queen Anne Cafe place looks good!"We rushed out the door of our friend's house on Dexter Avenue and made the trek up the steep hill to the Queen Anne neighborhood. Aside from the Taco Bell the night before and the Tacos Chukis quesadilla I had immediately after I arrived in Seattle, my burger and fries and random side items was my first full meal in Seattle. The food was delicious and our server was very soft spoken and kind. The whole atmosphere was very relaxed, which was nice since the day before me and my friend had spent the whole day flying across the country, landing, and then immediately going to a concert. My one and only visit to the Queen Anne Cafe was a year and a few days ago. I'm back in southeast Georgia now, but I can't wait to visit during my next trip to Seattle!
