Que Bueno

The food is good. Never anybody in there. This is my 4th time eating here and every time I leave, I tell hubs "I do not ever want to come back here". There are just too many hip places to visit these days. I just feel kind of lame every time I come here. Like in the 80s this would have been "hip" The food is ok..... like I could make it at home. I feel like going out to eat is "cheating on a diet" etc. and I don't leave here feeling like it's worth the cheat. So yes it's edible, it's good, service is amazing, the staff are great. Also probably one of the lowest bills I have had in a long time...... The burger was not anything special. The H-Bombs weren't anything special. Ugh..... I hate leaving local businesses not such great reviews but I have never left here thinking "wow that was soooo good"

I was in the area for a conference that was being hosted at the casino and we decided to come here afterwards for dinner. I really was not s fan. It is not traditional Mexican food and honestly tastes pretty bland. Not much flavor! The restaurant was very clean and had good service. Our waitress was attentive and nice. I would not be back based on the quality of food.

Delicious home cooked Mexican food. Stopped in for a late lunch and had great service and awesome food. Shredded beef burrito served piping hot with to crew and beans, combo #7 and a huevos rancheros you must see to believe. Crispy chips served with a great salsa. All the sauces were clearly homemade and had great flavor. My burrito was ordered hot and it had just enough heat without overpowering the flavor of the beef. Will definitely return again.

Really nice waitress, super quick delivery of food to table, low key decor. Small outside patio facing parking lot and fountain. Recommend: chips & salsa, chicken enchiladas, and chicken tacos.

I have been coming to dinner here every week with members of our church choir after choir practice for over 10 years and have seen a number of changes over that time. Two things that thankfully haven't changed are the excellent food and the friendly and attentive service. I have to say that serving a group of 10 to 18 hungry and thirsty people with different tastes, and separate checks (some singles and some couples), is no easy feat, even if the restaurant is not busy. So let me start with the service.... The evening always starts with wonderful chips and homemade salsa and the drink of our choice. There are plenty to go around, and the chips and salsa is refilled as needed. The drinks are great! I've had everything from a frozen prickly pear Marguerita to a Pina Colada to a nice cold Servesa (always served in a frosty mug), as well as red and whit wine. If someone asks for water, usually they will bring water for all of us. And the servers are attentive enough that drinks are replenished quickly.The food is outstanding. Not only their Mexican dishes but the chicken wings and coconut shrimp are wonderful! The food comes out hot. ALWAYS! I've been here when the place was packed and the servers still need to remind me that the plates are hot. And I can't remember a single time over the last decade when a server got one of our 18 orders wrong! It seems like each of us has a favorite that we come back to often. Among mine are the chicken wings with blue cheese dressing on the side, the Mexican Pizza, the Que Bueno Burger with a mild chili and guac on it, and the Acapulco Chicken which is a burrito served Enchilada style with a wonderful creamy sauce. And the portion sizes are perfect.So long story short, if you're in the Fountain Hills area, are hungry, and have evr wanted a great Mexican food experience at a really reasonable price, Que Bueno is the place to be. And if you come on a Thursday night, there will be a long table of choir members and their friends having a wonderful time! Come on in and see what all the fuss us about!

I have never had a bad meal or service at this restaurant. The food is always cooked fresh and taste excellent (Love the warm chips and salsa). The wait staff are very nice and always attentive. The mood is very relaxed and not loud at all. Since I am not "foodie", I like the menu and their tacos (shredded beef) are very yummy and consistently good! Highly recommend and look forward to going back (approximately 3x a month).

The food deserves 5 starts. Their waitress deserves 1 star. Being in the area we wanted to try it out since it is a family restaurant. The food was very authentic, chips and salsa were delicious!Friend had the chicken taco salad, and I enjoyed the seafood enchiladas. The place was not very busy, but the waitress had no idea how to do her job. She walked by us so many times I lost count. She never checked out drinks, or asked how the food was (good). When we asked for the check she combined the bill without asking. She managed to serve the tables with men in the group and even chatted them up. We asked her to spilt the bill, she said "In half?". Since it took 10 minutes to get our bill, we agreed even though it wasn't right. If I go again, I will get the food to go~Sadly, this ruined the meal for us.

I love this place. The nachos and salsa are amazing. I also love the hard tacos pretty much everything I've had on the menu is good and the lady that works there is very nice and hard-working.

We haven't been here in a LONG time. Stopped in for lunch today. The wife had a burger and fries. I hadn't seen anything posted about the fajitas, so I gave them a shot. They were middle of the road. For my taste (a personal thing) I prefer the bell peppers to be soft fried along with the meat, they were warmed through but still firm and crunchy. Ordered with no onions which I can't tolerate. Like I said, just my preference. They were very generous with the chicken (which had a great flavor), and it came with rice and beans which I thoroughly enjoyed. The homemade chips and salsa are excellent. The gal that was running the front of the house was really nice and attentive to our needs. Overall was a very enjoyable lunch.

Called to make a reservation on a Saturday night... when we arrived, we were told to sit wherever, so obviously a reservation wasn't actually needed. Found a somewhat clean booth in the corner, and waited awhile for someone to come. Ordered some drinks and bean dip. Took longer than I liked to get drinks, but the margaritas were pretty good. Ordered our dinner anticipating yumminess... I didn't like mine, but the server was kind enough to refund my money. All in all, we weren't super impressed. I could see how happy hour would bring in the customers but the atmosphere and food weren't up toMy standards.
