This place is in like a little food court and it gets a lot of business. The service is mediocre. I waited for my food for some time all because the lady that prepared it didn't want to tell my number because she partially lost her voice so her and the guy working was arguing. The food looks great but the taste to me is way too much seasoning in everything. If you have hypertension you need to stay away. This is my first and last time.

WOW WOW WOW!!! I searched up fried chicken near me and this place came up. I am SO HAPPY I ordered food from here. I ordered online and came to pick up my order and it was SUPER BUSY!!! I saw so many tickets on the counter. Even though it was super busy everyone behind the counter was so nice to me!!! I ordered 2 plates of fried chicken and a plate of Cajun pasta. The fried chicken was seasoned perfectly!!! Not once did I want to add any condiments to it. Perfection!!! QC has some of the best fried chicken I have ever tasted..comparable to Willie Mae's in my opinion. The Cajun pasta was also really good and creamy!!! Each plate comes with 2 sides..I was able to try mac and cheese, loaded mash potatoes, cheese and broccoli , and fries. 10's all around!!! If you are in Nashville make sure to try this place. It is authentic soul food!!! Thank you for having such amazing food and service!!! This place will definitely be on my list if I go to Nashville again!!! They really know how to make good food here.

Do yourself a favor and go to QC Kitchen if you are downtown. This places offers the best soul food in town. It's a no fluff spot that just has great food. It's located in a small food hall. You can just walk up to the counter and order. Or you can do what I did and order through UberEats and just pick up. While staying at The Joseph nearby I walked my ass over to QC to pickup my pork chop order. Most of the meats comes with two sides. I got their yams and green beans. The two pieces of fried pork chop was amazing. It was perfectly fried and deliciously flavored. The green beans and yams were also really good. I was really happy with my meal and was totally satisfied. The portion was pretty large. I paid a total of $27 for my pork chop with two sides. They also had chicken, salmon, shrimp, turkey leg, and lamb. The inside of this place is very causal. There are some tables and chairs that they share communally with the restaurants next door.

When I tell you I have never had macaroni and cheese speak to my SOUL...thissin here DID IT. Them yams were sweeter than Mrs. Winners sweet tea (PERFECTION) and them pork chops had more flavor than Food Network. I ordered from Door Dash--I will be making the trip to the store to try more of this delicious food.

This has to be the only soul food restaurant in Downtown Nashville and it's worth it. The pricing might be a little iffy and so it the wait. However it's worth it. And it's open on Sundays. The food was great. Service was nice. The Mac and cheese is definitely great. And don't forget a KoolAid. You're welcome.

Took an afternoon lunch with a couple of my players and this spot was one I had been hearing a lot about. Stopped in and could immediately tell it was going to be good! Service was polite and friendly. It is a very ducked off spot, very quaint and has great lighting. Seating is great and spacious. I got the catfish fillet plate with Mac n cheese and cabbage and it blew my mind! That is a soul food place! I mean the Mac n cheese was perfectly cheesy, the cabbage was great, and the fish was cooked to perfection. Definitely a place I'm looking forward to trying again!

QC is in a joint restaurant space with 3 others. Counter service with piping hot soul food. I had the lunch special for $15. 3 Crispy Chicken Wings, Homemade Mac n Cheese and Collard greens/Ham bits. Amazing and hot off of the stove. It's a big lunch for hearty eaters. Yes, I will return !
