PV Pie & Wine

Recently met up with friends for dinner at PV Pie and Wine. Hadn't been in since it opened in the area. But had frequented their previous concept. So was anxious to see what had changed for better or worse. First of all, the food, we had the following: Summer Stawberry Salad w/Chicken and w/o Goat cheese. 3/5 - for the price, thought it was skimpy in size for $21. The Chicken was in small shreds, and although the flavor was good it was pretty dried out and again probably 3 oz of it max. ($7 add on to $14 salad).Go Green Pizza - 4/5 What the salad lacked in volume was more than made up for in the size pizza. For $16 this could have easily fed 2 people. And it did! My two friends ordered two pizzas not knowing how large they were, so ate one and took the other home for lunch the next day. They have a pretty decent wine selection. Some interesting cocktails on the menu. Looks like they have some good happy hour offerings and Monday/Tuesday combo specials. Would probably only return when these offerings were available for better value. Service was good and waiter was knowledgeable about the food menu and the wines as well. Service was completed by the bartender who was also very nice and accommodating.

We've been here a number of times and it's consistently inconsistent. The food is "ok" if you order the right things but can be terrible if you order the wrong things. Here's our list so far:~Burger: good. Nothing special but totally decent and fries are solid. ~Chicken sandwich: bad. Dry chicken, too much bread, no flavor or moistness to sandwich. ~pizza: decent. Nothing special due to crust being so-so but some of the pizza combos are good. Crust is VERY inconsistent on crispiness which is constantly annoying. ~Ribs: bad. Don't bother. Sauce is nice but meat is super dry and tough to eat. ~Salmon: good. Moist, flavorful and risotto on side is solid. Service is so-so. Some of their servers are super arrogant while others are calm and helpful. Ambiance is also so-so. Bright and open if you sit near windows. Dark if sitting near kitchen. I do appreciate that the music isn't too loud so you can hear people at your table - that's a HUGE plus because so many places drown you in noise these days and this place is just the right level of music. It's basically "fine" if you order well but this is usually our last choice answer we go if others suggest it.

Food: we ordered the brussel sprouts, shrimp and pizza. The brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly. The spicy shrimp I was not a fan of, they were plain shrimp with cocktail sauce. The cocktail sauce had wasabi in it which was the spicy aspect but I did not care for itDrinks: I ordered the summer breeze but wasn't really a fan, nothing special. The sparkling rose was tasty Ambiance: open concept with neighborhood restaurant feel Service: great, they were all attentive

I had an amazing time at PV Pie & Wine during their happy hour! The restaurant is impressively massive, and the interior design is simply beautiful and well thought out. As soon as I entered, I was captivated by the clear wine cellar surrounding the bar - a unique and visually appealing touch.The happy hour menu offered a fantastic selection of bites, and the best part was that all drinks were priced at just $7 (with beer at $6). What a steal! The Meatballs with Focaccia and Brussels Sprouts stole the show for me; they were incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. However, the Spicy Shrimp Cocktail didn't quite hit the mark for my taste buds.For dessert, I treated myself to their seasonal cheesecake, which was a delightful conclusion to my meal. Creamy and rich, it was the perfect sweet note to end the evening.Aside from the delectable food and drinks, the lively atmosphere during the weekday added to the overall experience. PV Pie & Wine is undeniably a great spot to unwind, enjoy delicious bites, and savor quality drinks without breaking the bank. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a vibrant place to dine and socialize during happy hour!

PV Pie & Wine was delicious. 6 of us made it in time for happy hour so we grabbed a few appetizers for the table and cocktails and then a mixture of entrees for supper. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks! The one thing that bothered me was that the majority of seating is booths. It would have been great for our group to sit at a table for ease of access.

In three years, I've never had a bad experience at PV pine wine. From the front door all the white staff bartenders and especially the kitchen staff and cooks are amazing. I've had some great food here, but the mahi-mahi special for the month is so good! Thanks for the recommendation Brett and confirmation from Baker!! Great dish Chef!!!

First time at this named restaurant although I have been to the location before under prior owners/operators, and it was delicious. The 1/2 pizza-1\2 salad combo is a great lunch special. The salad was fresh and tasty, albeit just a touch too much dressing. I will ask for it on the side in the figure. The pizza was fabulous. Our server was friendly and knew the menu well. All and all a great experience. Will certainly return. One negative is the crazy parking lot at a very busy corner shopping center. Thus 4 stars vs. 5. Food is 5 for sure!

I went here with a friend and we split the Brussel sprouts and a flat bread and had a nice glass of wine. The food and service were awesome. I wish I grabbed my waitress' name, as she was helpful, knowledgeable and efficient.The atmosphere is comfortable.Looking forward to going black.

Really delicious and great service. The meatballs and pizza were worth coming back for and the wine selection is pretty good!

Perfect place for dinner with friends. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was very busy so that was impressive. Loved our Paradise Pie pizza and wedge salad. Fun neighborhood restaurant you definitely need to visit.
