We absolutely LOVE the food and the staff at The Purple Flamingo Cafe!Pick-me-up's from their delicious coffee and Lotus drinks are great to sip on while you shop at My Garden Nursery, the best garden center in Bellingham! As for the food... so good! Delicious and creative, yet approachable, even if you're not very food-venturous (adventurous with food). They keep a mix of steady staples and a rotating menu of chef-inspired creations. There is always a great choice for coffee, breakfast or lunch!Truffle fries with garlic aioli, Dilly Pickles and Ted's Breakfast Sandwich are a few items that you can expect to see all the time. And of course, their signature drink is the Flamingo Freeze, a delightfully refreshing blackberry slushy that brings joy to adults and kids alike. Oh, and you can order online to save time! Whether you order to go on your way out, or you wanna dine in, The Purple Flamingo Cafe has you covered. Go hang out with Sasquatch in The Bigfoot Snack Bar, then finish your shopping. Stopped by here on impulse when I exited My Garden nursery. I was intrigued by the very bright purple artsy food truck. I love to support clever and unique small businesses. The staff and service was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The coffee and grilled sandwich was the best ever! I expect to return here again!!

One of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time- I went with the roast beef. The flavors come together really well. It was a pleasant surprise.

I have never had a bad meal with them. My mom and I had lunch there again today. Delicious soup, awesome breakfast sandwich- best I've ever had.Service was great and although it was too cold to sit outside today, the inside area was awesome.

First time here and food was exceptional! Ordered grilled chicken panini with truffle fries. Very tasty!!! The Purple Flamingo is now one of my favorites!!

Decided to try the food truck. We ordered two chicken salad paninis and one roast beef panini. Delicious! And the service was fairly quick, considering there was only one person. She was perfect. The only down side, the sandwiches were so full and juicy, we needed a lot of napkins, lol.

Spectacularly delicious food surprise at My Garden Nursery! I am GF, so requested the mouth-watering pulled pork on salad instead of bread and was kindly obliged. FABULOUS sauces, magnificently spiced by this gourmet chef, Ted Aspinall. My friend had the glorious chicken panini with cheese. Their website reads:"Full specialty coffee menu! Coffee served hot or on the rocks. Ted's original soups, breakfast sandwiches, truffle fries, fresh salads and our signature item called Dilly Pickles named after Mr. Dilly Pickles our famous cat. Every two weeks we introduce 2 new Flamini Paninis! There is a yummy frozen blackberry slushy called the "Flamingo Freeze" and fantastic chocolate chip cookies too!"Oh yeah!
