Great food! But, if you want to order pupusas for takeout, make sure you do it way ahead of time because it can take a little long. Other than that, I love this place!

Some of the best fast food fried chicken I've had. The sauces are good, not great. The service is lacking hospitality, but the food being fresh definitely outweighs that negative. Locations is terrible, and inside was good enough.

It has been a while since we dined in at this place. I don't remember when they started adding beets to the yucca. I usually like beets but these were bland boiled beets that could have been left out. Pupusas were good and always hot. Loroco and cheese is my favorite filling with cordito on top. Most people have their own way of eating them. They are always filling to me and I cannot usually eat more than 1 or 2. I also tried the chicken with bread which, I have been told, is usually something eaten in December. It was alright but I don't think I'll order it again. It was a stewed chicken leg with a variety of stewed and fresh vegetables. It comes with some of the stew stock that you pour into the bread. Like a French dip but you don't dip it.

Very bad service from the waitresses, I ordered a small soup and repeated several times to the waitress that I wanted something small and I received a full meal only with less soup and less food and they charged me the full amount, they also took more than half an hour to bring 4 pupusas and the broth to the table. Now I had to pay for a broth that I didn't even want... the service is very bad, I do not recommend this place.

I was so so happy to find my favorite Puperseria still open and going strong.Parked in the full parking lot and put on our mask to enter.Grabbed booth by door. English is not their first language barrier t we were able to order one Puposa each with a jalapeno pickled slaw to share. Tony got a budweiser and I got a coca colaFood was GREAT just as I remembered and It never missed a beat during the Covid-19.I was so happy

I have become obsessed with the Salvadorean culinary wonder known as the papusa. Papuseria Salvadorena is a humble papuseria located in not the best part of Nashville, Tennessee, but I recall a meme that offered the sage statement that the best tacos are found in neighborhoods that will never be considered a "desirable address." I believe the actual quote was more akin to the worse the neighborhood, the better the taco. Judging by my visit to Papuseria Salvadorena, I guess the same can be said about papusas.I ordered two papusas (pork and cheese) and since the walls were rather thin and the place is very small, I could hear the kitchen performing their magic. I was anticipating a grand lunch and would soon discover that I was not to be disappointed. My papusas were brought in a timely manner and with my first bite, I knew that I stumbled upon a great culinary find. The papusas were wonderful and proof that a meal can be both humble and fantastic. These papusas were very good and the accompanying cabbage in vinegar (I liken it to a Salvadorean coleslaw) enhanced the papusas.I must say that this is the second papuseria I have tried in Nashville, both in close proximity of each other, and both were fantastic.

I'll never get used to the price of pupusas in the United States vs El Salvador, but these were fairly priced for local standards. Friendly staff, great service. You can order in Spanish or English.

The food was delicious and a true representation of the El Salvadoran culture. However, the bathrooms were dirty, smelly, and unkept. The service was fast and our waitress were kind and attentive. They kitchen puts care into the dishes they put out. I had the Loroco Papusa and it was good. Overall, I would recommend this place to a friend.
