Pupuseria Salvadorena #2

Came in for lunch for a table of 5ppl. Plenty space, we ordered pupusas de queso con loroco, chicharron con queso, queso con jalapeños, amazing , tasty, delicious pupusas. We also ordered yuca frita with freshly made pork rinds. By the way there is a green sauce they give, you have to try that with your food, spicy but creamy, totally worth the wait. The horchata was very good too, not overly sweet.I make pupusas at home with my wife, but these were very good pupusas. The staff is very friendly.

OMG it helps to have an El Salvadorian wife folks some of the BEST papoosas you will have and the curtido is outrageously good. Go see Miss Anna tell her Tomas sent you

I was so excited to find a Salvadoran place so close to my new apartment and bonus- it's next door to a la Michiocana style ice cream and paleta shop. It's the second location of my favorite local Pupuseria right across from plaza mariachi, the menus are pretty much the same. Came here for breakfast today and got two desayunos with chorizo and a revuelta pupusa each. The pupusas were awesome and tasted very home made, it was nice that they offered a spicier sauce in addition to the usual mild red sauce. The desayuno was great, the portion was just right and filling. They were great about refilling coffee. It's bigger than many of the other Salvadoran restaurants I've been to in town and the service is good. I think they speak mainly Spanish but I think a gringo could get by on ordering on their own. For two breakfast, two pupusas and two coffees with tons of refills we paid $27. This is a solid find and will probably be my new go to. Will upload pics next time I go!

Delicious food. Very affordable and authentic. Made to order so it take about 10 minutes to get your food. The dining room isn't fancy so not necessarily a great date spot. Highly recommended.
