Pupuseria Lucy's

Lucy's is a true hidden gem for foodies who crave authenticity. The pupusas are outstanding and available with a wide range of ingredients. The bebitos - iced fruit drinks - are NOT to be believed. They feature fresh fruit that is chopped when you order it, giving it amazing freshness and flavor you don't normally find; most restaurants pre-make everything, but here it is fresh. The specialty here is marscos - seafood - but I was there for lunch and didn't try it. They don't give you chips and salsa like Mexican restaurants, but you CAN order chips and cheese dip. I tried it and it was fantastic - highly recommended! Not too many gringos like me come to Lucy's, but they should. The fish tacos are amazing, i was told. And the vast array of soups make this even more appealing to foodies. Just go - you will LOVE it!

The food is good but too pricey I don't think is worth it but if you really craving some salvadorean food try La salvadoreña in La Vergne the food is good and is not so expensive like here my husband and I had a simple breakfast here with two drinks and it was $61 dollars I was like what on earth ah . One thing thou The servers here are very nice and gentle is good place but too expensive good luck

The food was good, I had the carne asada plate with chorizo, single pupusa revuelta, and 2 horchatas. The server was attentive, friendly and timely. The indoor decor is adequate, bathrooms could use a bit of updating/maintenance. The issue I had was the cost. I came during lunch and my total was 62.84. I truly only ordered one meal. Overall value was a bit high for my personal preference.

DO NOT GO HERE!I love Mexican and like trying new places. This was a big disappointment. The PRICES ARE NOT LISTED on the menu and for lunch on Wednesday for 2 people it should NOT cost $58 for two simple plates. When we asked any questions to the staff, they said they didn't speak English and couldn't answer our questions. They were shocked to find out I speak Spanish and they still couldn't answer any of my questions. It's really messed up to try a new place and feel like we got scammed. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND.
