Good food and good drinks! Enjoyed the night with friends. Wide selection of Tequilas, which was nice. Carnita tacos were tasty. Our server was JULIAN who was awesome and took care of all of us. Easy location to get to and plenty of parking. Overall a great time. I would recommend trying it out.

My husband's parents and I have gone to this place multiple times for family lunches or dinners. It's our go-to spot. We love this place! It's super spacious, nice, cute-variety decor in tables, chairs and booths, indoor and outdoor seating.. friendly service... good food.. good drinks..You can't go wrong with their tacos! They used to give free salsa and chips but not anymore. THEIR HORCHATA IS BOMBBB!!! And so affordable.. only $6 (used to be $5) Pros:-friendly service-reservations on Opentable -10% off with Yelp check-in-shared parking lot with other business -cute decor and seating arrangements -clean bathrooms -yummy food and desserts and drinks-clean and high quality ingredients for food -organic non-GMO blue corn tortillas Cons:-more on the pricier side.. very pricey..

We recently visited Puesto in San Diego and had a mixed experience. The location is absolutely gorgeous, as they've transformed the old Gordon Biersch Brewery into a beautiful and upscale space with a cute ambiance. The convenience of the parking lot makes getting here a breeze, which is a definite plus. However, the prices are a different story. Paying $10-$18 for a single taco feels wildly overpriced, especially in San Diego. Even with their fun secret menu, it's hard to justify the cost. The $18 margarita also stings a bit, and even the Happy Hour pricing doesn't make a significant impact. While the food is good, it's challenging to get past the high prices for the portions you receive. The service is satisfactory but doesn't stand out.Overall, while the atmosphere and convenience are great, the value for money leaves much to be desired.

I teeter on 4 or 5 stars for Puesto. What it makes it worth 5 stars:-This location is gorgeous! They took over the old Gordon Biersch Brewery and transformed it into a beautiful space. It can be rented for events and it's absolutely stunning. -It's also the most convenient to get to this location because of the parking lot accessibility. -The food at Puesto is good! I love the potato taquitos and the delicious dipping sauce it comes with. Other favorites for me include the shrimp taco and shrimp quesadilla. They do shrimp right!-Great service! Staff is friendly and responsive. What makes it worth 4 stars:-The price is just really tough! Especially living in San Diego, the idea of paying $10 for a single taco hurts! On top of that, a $18 margarita is rough! Happy Hour pricing doesn't make a huge impact on the pricing. The food is good, but it's really hard to justify just how much they charge for their food.

I had the Chicken al Pastor and Filet mignon tacos for taco Tuesday ($2.50 off on taco Tuesday) and they were tasty. They are pricey, but these tacos are very high end tacos and are cooked to perfection. For my beverage I enjoyed the watermelon margarita and was super delicious. The margarita was $20, so I would recommend coming here for happy hour to get a better deal because this restaurant is on the expensive side for Mexican food. Service was ok and took awhile to take our order. Ambiance is very nice and perfect for a date or meeting up friends for drinks.

This is the first time we came to this restaurant; we decided to go here because I am seeing a lot of 5 stars reviews from the reviewers. Don't know if we ordered the wrong food from the menu; with the prices charged, we are not satisfied at all. The serving is really small and we didn't even finish it because of its taste.I ordered steak, I didn't eat it because it was bloody rare, the waitress didn't even ask me how I liked the steak done. I don't know if this is how they prepare it.The staff aren't really concerned of what we need (refill our H2°. They definitely don't have the PR. Anyway, I wouldn't mind paying a pricey amount, if the food and the service is satisfactory; but, I don't think we will come back here again.

Came for hh on a Thurs and it wasn't too busy right around 3. We got to sit on their back patio. They only have their standard margarita for hh at $10. All the snacks and shares are half off. We decided to split the chips and salsa and pay the extra $1 (for hh) to get the additional four salsas. The margarita is just standard. However their salsas stole the show! Totally worth trying. You get their standard roasted tomato salsa but the extra four we got were the black garlic chili oil, hot salsa, tomatillo salsa and some pineapple flavored one. Our favorite was the chili garlic but they were all so unique and tasted so fresh. Chips tasted homemade too.

summary: opening the menu, my breath was taken away. Unfortunately not for a good reason. The prices for pretty much everything were pretty appalling even considering that these were "luxury" tacos. The flavor: everything tasted solid, but pretty much anything and everything you might order comes with an extra fee. Need chips? $$. Need more tortillas? $$.This isn't unheard of, but the cost of everything is pretty jaw-dropping. One taco can range anywhere between $9 and higher. Even though the tacos I ordered were okay, I wouldn't say they felt like they were worth it. Not to mention the basic drinks on the menu are similarly priced at a high premium.Service was pretty disappointing too where the staff kind of felt rushed/pushy to order more food. The ambiance felt pretty commercial/chain, but in a good way. It's a nice venue and would be great for larger parties or corporate events.Overall: if you're looking for solid tacos, maybe pocket the extra $$ and go somewhere else. There's plenty of amazing alternatives.
