Puesto At The Headquarters

one of our favorite spots in San Diego. the tacos are the best and love the alfresco style. Kordel took exceptional care of us! can't wait to come back.

our server kardel was amazing! he was quick, kind and funny! I have a severe allergy and when I told him I felt comfortable to know it was taken care of. he was an amazing server I have never had a more amazing server in any restaurant. he deserves a raise!!

The food was just as . amazing as the service... Wow! The manager and our server were both incredibly attentive, And really gave you a feeling like you were going to be taken care of both in your food prep but also in your overall experience here. My wife called this spot a little bougie, but if this is "bougie" then I'm all about it. I feel that Puesto just takes incredible pride in their menu, their delivery, and the individual customer experience. Yes, it can be a little spendy here. Like each of our tacos that we had today was 11 bucks, but they were so good we only needed one. Then we shared a shrimp gubernador quesadilla.. THAT was a huge surprise with how good it was since I normally avoid shrimp with cheese. But wow, incredibly tasty. We also ordered A salsa flight... I highly suggest the charred pineapple salsa. The habanero salsa that you get with your chips is incredible as well. So much flavor. Really chill ambiance here like you really get to just enjoy the San Diego harbor breeze. Outdoors. Chairs are super comfortable even for big people like myself with no arm wrists on them like myself with no arm rests on them... That little detail there always brings me back places like this.10/10 I recommend Puesto.Also... Don't forget, Pesto is at Petco Park for when you see a Padres game!

This place is conveniently located near seaport village. It's definitely pricey for some tacos but they are gourmet ones with the presentation and unique way they fried the cheese encasing the protein which I've never seen before. Got the chicken Al pastor and short rib tacos. The ambiance and art decor were very nice near the bar area. I would come back for some drinks with friends.Service 3.5/5- sat at the community table/ bar area for no wait time,but you have to walk up to the bar to order things, nobody came to refill water/drinks not sure if that's how it was designed. I'd sit at the actual bar thenFood: 4/5 - not a fan of the price but I guess it's expected in SD near the water at seaport villageVibes-5/5- would like to come back to see the place at night service

We had one night in San Diego and Puesto was recommended for our large group for diner. Their website was very easy to navigate and I was able to make a reservation for 10 with ease. Their taco Tuesday specials were amazing. I ordered their house margarita and three tacos. The margarita was delicious and refreshing and the premium tacos (lobster, brisket, and fish) did not disappoint! This is not your hole in the wall Mexican food, more trendy vibes but we loved it. Highly recommend for large groups, the service was outstanding, the offer military discounts too!

Carmen was spectacular. She was very attentive refilling our drinks. She noticed my taco had cheese when I requested no cheese and she had it replaced. Although it was a busy Saturday night, she was calm and pleasant. Great service. By the way, the upgrade 4 salsas are delicious and flavorful with lots of spice!

Another amazing time at Puesto Headquarters. I've been wanting the new swordfish taco and it did not disappoint. I have to add every taco I've had has been delicious. My husband can't help but go for the Hero, steak and lobster. It's not shown on the menu but it's a must. Our Puesto Perfect margaritas were nothing less than perfect. We always have to get the Esquite, so good. Of course what puts Puesto over the top are the servers. Royal is amazing. Ask for his section when you come in, you're in for a treat. Also, the beautiful setting and weather makes for a most delightful experience.

Had a drink at the bar and it was delicious. This place is expensive but it's good- if you sign up for their list you get a free taco!

My wife and I were at the San Diego Harbor over Memorial Day weekend and we took a walk to a place we have not tried, Puesto.We sat at the bar in the paradise like atmosphere of San Diego and I ordered the house IPA from our friendly bartender as well as some chips and salsa which were worth the $3, the salsa was excellent.I ordered the short rib taco and the carnitas taco. After talking to my friend from San Diego, I should have tried the filet mignon, but the short rib was super flavorful and after couple bites the carnitas grew on me.The prices are very expensive for a taco, but the quality is definitely there. A nice treat if you are looking for some quality Mexican food, I wouldn't be surprised if a famous chef ran it.

Food was fantastic! Had the carnitas and quesabirria tacos and they were great. Royal was our server and he was really pleasant and attentive during our visit. Thank you!
