It's ok we always get the lunch special. Due to it's too pricey if you order something else. The food is mediocre at best. The place needs to replace its booths they sink in when you sit in them. The cabbage stuff (the one they bring out with the hot sauce and chips) needs to go. The hot sauce needs less chunks of onions make it less noticeable at least by blending hot sauce more.

The first thing I have to say right off the bat is, WOW! The food portions here is ENORMOUS, and I don't know whether to say if that's good or bad. I had ordered the Traditional Enchiladas while my partner had ordered one of their burritos. Sometimes I forget that some Mexican sit-down restaurants serve big portions of food, but it was just wild how much food we got. It makes sense though because each plate costed a lot of money ($18-21). My partner's burrito was literally as big as her head. It was so big that she could only eat 1/4 of that burrito. We ended up having to get to-go boxes for the both of us.The food itself was just okay though, there wasn't anything special about the enchiladas or the burrito. To be honest they all tasted kind of the same just prepared differently. The meat in our food tasted a little dry too, and so did the rice.Would I come back here again? Probably not. But you are paying for what you get. The service was friendly and attentive, I liked the man that was working there and checking up on us. Best of luck to Puerto Vallarta Restaurant.

We've ordered take out from here numerous times and food is consistently great. The portions are LARGE, and we always forget and order too much, so having leftovers is a perk. Some chips and salsa are included, but we always order extra. We are vegetarian, and there are plenty of yummy options.

I treated my team at work with a Taco Bar from this location. Let me just say how easy they made it for me! They took care of everything! All I had to do was come pick it up. The food was fresh, delicious and all my employees wanted more!! When you walk into the restaurants your are instantly greeted by their team, the place was clean which is always nice! I will continue to order food from here! They can do a Taco Bar for large quantities of people In case anyone was wondering!!!

This is a solid family-owned spot to your Mexican Food fix in West Seattle. The food is fresh and there are LOTS of options. The portions are huge and you WILL need a to-go box after a visit. I specifically love their Shrimp and Carnitias fajitas. Both to-go and dine-in versions. I will eat this until I have to be rolled out of the chair/booth. I also really like the Mole Chicken as well. The shrimp in their seafood dishes are high quality and taste better than most other restaurants along California. Their chips are excellent and the service when dining on is very attentive. They have cold beer and good mixed drinks. I don't think it is a menu item, but my coworker has ordered a coffee with Mexican chocolate after going there for a working lunch. It was very good.A side note, they do have a lard-free refried bean option for customers that are vegetarians.

Clean. Important. Very important.Service. Fast, efficient. No time wasted by Maria at my table (I was the only person in here at 2:30PM).Food. You get what you pay for. $9.75 for two enchiladas, rice and beans, and a glass of iced tea with lemon (refilled once). The chips and salsa were good and fresh, and the pickled cabbage was nice. The enchiladas (one chicken, one pork) were just right.Only complaint: Please, Restaurant Owners, stop with the deceptive practice of basing tip suggestions on the gross check amount (including the tip). No one tips that way. Net amount only, please. Thank you in advance.

The meat in the tacos were bad - sent it back. Also, they don't have queso. The rice taste like it's made with dirty dish water.

How Puerto Vallarta restaurant stays open is beyond me. The portions are ridiculously enormous, but the food is marginally edible. Dry chicken taquitos and tough, tasteless pork in the tacos with loads of bland iceberg lettuce and fluorescent orange cheddar cheese. I'm sure there are far better options for Mexican food in West Seattle.
