Publico Street Bistro & Garden

Ok, I was in for Bingo night and I think my server was Alex with an x or a k, haha it's one of those, but she was truly amazing. She made sure me and my family were taken care of. The food was delicious! My sister had the burrito bowl. My mother had the sliders and I had the smash burger. We really enjoyed Bingo Night and the vibes by the DJ. This was my first time going here and I will definitely be going back. I have never been to a place where the security cares enough to help people with parking and he even helped my mother up the couple of steps and held the door for us. Malik was truly an angel! Publico is a must hit spot!!!

We ordered over the phone after the Boston marathon. They had a nice selection of gluten free items online. We got the gluten free tacos, salad and chicken wings. Everything was super tasty. We were sooo hungry I didn't even take any pictures! We were shorted an order of tacos but we calked the next day and they credited our account quickly. Would definitely recommend for gluten free and "regular" eaters. Yummy !

Really nice interior, lots of comfortable seating, chic decor. They have some outdoor seating as well but it's on the street side. Music was loud but we could still hear ourselves. The TVs were playing the football game. The food was average. Nothing blew us away and nothing was bad. The spicy garlic wings were a bit disappointing. The sauce was on the side and did not taste how I expected. Overall, the food generally just lacked flavor / seasoning. The waiters seemed a bit rushed and were a little hard to get a hold of but no complaints besides that. I would probably try it again if I was in the area. Street parking wasn't too hard to find a few hundred feet away.

I was excited to try a new to me place. When I got here it looked like a happening place. The bouncer/security guy was nice at the door. I walked in met my friends at the table. In my head I was like wow this is a cute place. I did not see the bar area really up close but when I went to the rest room you walk by it and it looked nice. There is also a patio part that I think may have been enclosed where there was a private party happening. They had tvs too. This place also has plenty of outdoor seating where I much rather sat. Maybe could hear my friends better. Though, the music was good just super loud. Got to the table and sat down and realized it was pretty loud here. My friends and I all agreed. We all had trouble hearing each other and we were seated close together. As soon as I sat down our waitress came over and asked what I wanted to drink. I said I needed a few min. She then comes back a little while later and I place my order. I got an espresso martini, my friend got a margarita type drink and not sure what my other friend got. The fourth person did not order a drink. And my friend who told me she didn't order a drink said to me how our waitress kind of rolled her eyes at her when she said she was not drinking. Our drinks were all good. I mean we all finished ours. Food wise, my food came out first all I got was the meatballs and pita with Tzatziki sauce. My friends shared all the rest of the food you see pictures of here. They enjoyed all of it. They got an order of cauliflower that they did not order and we think our waitress never put in the chicken wing order or forgot to. Our waitress did not seem like the nicest and we felt rushed with everything. Even when we were done our plates were being taken away without even asking if we were fully done. Not sure I will come back here as I am never in this area and just with our experience and the noise level did not leave a good taste in my mouth to want to come back here. If I sat outside it may be a different story.

Food was 2 stars if that. We got the yucca fries to start. It was over fried and extremely greasy. Then I got the spinach and feta omelet with added avocado. The omelet was way too buttery/greasy I could barely eat it. Honestly felt nauseous after the whole meal. Home fries also had grease oozing out. Overall the service was good, we were celebrating an occasion and got a free glass of champagne and the waitress was friendly. The ambiance was gorgeous very picturesque. Drinks looked good. Unfortunately I was so disappointed in the food not sure I would come back. I had high hopes given the looks and previous reviews. Maybe if it was just for drinks. Or maybe a salad since they can't fry that.

Really good food and and a large menu which i think is pretty tough to pull off!Ambiance is always great and lively in every section.Service is solid across the board too!Definitely recommend here from brunch anytime.

Was walking along and saw the $1 oysters deal (apparently on Thursdays) and decided to poke for lunch. Got a dozen there and then ordered a parma Prosciutto pizza and some tacos for lunch. The pizza was perfect I just love that style in general and this was no exception. One thing unique that we really liked was the mini hot sauces they gave us for the tacos. Really took them up a level and made it a bit different from a standard taco place

At first, I thought this restaurant was an Italian place, but then I read the name and and realized it's a street bistro and garden (idk what garden means but it sounds cool). The food... yum. The portions... about the size of a small cat. The service... very attentive, a bit too attentive. Everything about this place was nice (and hipster). It was probably as hipster as downtown Los Angeles with a splash of south Boston. Overall the place was great except for one kinda weird thing. My waitress was very very attentive to the table. Like about a minute after we sat down she asked us if we were ready to order. Ummm, I wasn't ready to order yet pal. Then once we got our food she asked us if it was good. Ummm, I didn't even pick up my fork yet pal.Good experience, nice family dinner.

Absolutely charming spot with ample TV screens for catching all the games. The food and drinks are simply incredible! The Bloody Mary was a standout - the best I've ever had! The truffle fries are also devious, it is packed with flavors. I went on a Sunday for brunch and was able to get seatings right away. However, they were busy and service was a bit slow but expected.

The super man at the door was very friendly. Think his name was Malik 5 stars alone. He gave me and my friends some good food recommendations that we really liked. definitely would go back and highly recommend this place the vibes off the chart and the food is incredible. The things we tried that he recommended were the burger, garlic wings and the lamb. All were great paired with their Caesar salad or fries. Malik made us feel very welcomed and safe. 10/10 GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!
