Spacious interior and great service. It was our first time here and the waitress was great at explaining the menu. All we can say is WOW.From the crispy, flavorful salmon eggrolls to the butter cake, everything was absolutely fantastic. The fried lobster tail appetizer came with fried lobster tails and shells with a creole dipping sauce that was excellent. The seafood trio pasta is flavorful with homemade noodles. I tasted shrimp, lobster, and fish. Perfectly cooked seafood with blackened seasoning that I asked for on the side to monitor my own spicy level. The lamb chops are absolutely a must get. Perfectly seasoned and cooked, without the gaminess! And the corn dish? To die for!!!I felt as if I died a foodie while eating all this. And to top it off, the warm butter cake was a nice way to end such an amazing meal.

We came from out of town and we were able to score reservations here last minute (the day before). We arrived on time and seated immediately. The staff were welcoming and the ambiance was on point. They start you with a welcome shot (photo'd) of their signature drink "Chicago Ave", which was pretty tasty. I ordered two drinks the Randolph (10/10) and The Windy City (switched the Hennessy for Tito's to make it more classic) (10/10). My meal was the Drunken Pasta (7/10) , I think I was expecting more of a flat noodle that would be more reminiscent of a Thai drunken noodle (that's a me thing though). The flavors were potent and the spice level wasn't too intense which still allowed the flavors to be highlighted. Overall, this was a 5 star experience.

We had a great experience! We made a reservation for 5 in a Friday night several weeks in advance. We shared a few appetizers and got some cocktails to start. The salmon egg rolls were one of my favorite dishes of the night - good flavor and nice crispy texture. The spinach and artichoke dip and garlic bread were ok. The garlic bread could have more better toasted. The corn was great, lots of flavor, spicy. I'll pass on the crab cakes next time. They were definitely mini, as described, and weren't notable. I really enjoyed my cocktail, The Fulton, which was essentially a spicy margarita. For the main course, my husband and I shared the shrimp cognac scampi and the drunken pasta. Both dishes came out super hot (temperature hot). It was surprising and wonderful! Very nice to eat hot food and the pastas were cooked perfectly. The scampi stole the show! The flavor was unique and blended nicely. The drunken noodles were good too, but a little acidic and the scampi was better. The butter cake was a nice dessert and very moist. You won't regret getting it, but it'd be nice to have another option (maybe chocolate, haha). The service was exceptional. Our server was super nice and seemed very genuine. 20% gratuity is included. The meal was on the pricier side, but we ordered a lot and also had leftovers. We'd definitely can't wait to go back!! I wish it was easier to make a reservation. I'd definitely get the scampi and salmon egg rolls again, then try something new!

I recently dined at Provare Restaurant in Chicago, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The highlight of my meal was the steak, which was incredibly tender and juicy - cooked to perfection. The service was top-notch, with the staff being attentive and friendly throughout the evening. A delightful surprise was the complimentary shots, adding a special touch to the dining experience. I highly recommend Provare for anyone looking for a memorable meal in Chicago. The ambiance was romantic with a great Playlist.

I found this place online and was intrigued by their menu so figured we would give it a try. It was kind of different that you had to make a reservation online to come here and they were booked weeks in advance. When we got here the decor and restaurant itself was a vibe! The walls and everything were all black with interesting lights and artwork. For appetizers we got the Caesar salad and garlic parm fries. The fries were not worth getting but the caesar salad was phenomenal. There were a ton of toppings (almost too many) and was a large portion for 2 people. The best part was the caesar dressing mixed with a vinaigrette. It made the salad taste unlike any other caesar salad I ate before. For entrees we got the drunken pasta and the seafood trio. For both we asked for them extra spicy but we did not find these dishes to be that spicy. The drunken pasta had a ton of giant shrimp in it and the amount of garlic they put in there really elevated the whole dish. The seafood trio had a ton of seafood and a very seasoned taste. It wasn't seasoned to my liking but my boyfriend loved it. Overall this place is on the pricey side thats why I'm giving it 4 stars. It was good but I'm not sure it was worth what we spent and the hassle of trying to plan what day and time you want to come here weeks in advance. I also wish they would've had red pepper flakes/ parmesan cheese to add to the pasta dishes. All of the food was amazing though!

Yum. Yum. And, yum.Even though the space and menu present like other BOB restaurants in major cities, this one rises above many with top-notch service and excellent food.We did book a reservation and saw that it was truly need as several people were turned away because the restaurant was full. Our server brought us a sample shot of their rum punch... mmmhmmm mmmhmmm good!We had the spinach-artichoke dip, and it was so good. It was a little oily from the cheeses but was full of artichokes (my faves) and seafood. We shared the seafood trio, and it was delicious. We are glad that we shared because there is no way that we would have finished an entree on our own.

Calling all Seafood Lovers!! Provaré is an Italian-Creole Fusion restaurant located in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago. We stayed at the Godfrey Hotel, so the commute wasn't far at all. Reservations are highly requested, and I second that. You will wait if you don't take the initiative. The restaurant was nicely decorated and had a cool atmosphere. The bar is beautiful. Seating is comfortable. The waitress was bubbly and met us with "Welcome Shots" after being seated. Cool! She immediately told us some of her faves and recommendations, although my friend and I had already scoured the menu before going. We received water and placed our drink orders. Drinks: I got the Randolph. My friend, the Chicago Ave. All of their drinks are named after the streets of Chicago. Charming. Soon after, we submitted our food choices. Appetizers: I went with the Crabby Fries. Friend chose the Spinach and Artichoke Dip. The dip was the star! It was so flavorful, and the shrimp was plentiful throughout. The waffle fry they use for the Crabby Fries was a wise choice. Entrée: I chose the Shrimp Cognac Scampi. I added their Trio Sauce to my dish for more spice. It was perfect. My friend had the Lemon Pepper Chicken Alfredo. She enjoyed her dish.. Their portions are huge! Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and took so much food back to the hotel. I want to come back. I just need to fast beforehand, lol!

I had a reservation for a birthday dinner, but due to the weather, my flight was delayed so I called to see if I could change my time but was told I couldn't change it to the next day. Once I finally made it into Chicago I called back to see if I could get a reservation I couldn't. So I ended up walking in and being able to get a table. The Security at the front was a bit too aggressive. And it took forever for the servers to take an order and also bring the food out. Once the food finally came out. It was very flavorful and piping hot. Also, I had the crab cakes that were very miniature in size to my surprise.I enjoyed the butter cake the most. The ambience was nice a lot of people celebrating birthdays or couples dressed up. This restaurant gets very crowded quickly. If you can get a reservation, I would do that first.

The food was okay, it wasn't exceptionally good or bad. We ordered the fried lobster, fries and calamari. Calamari was a bit rubbery, the fries were well seasoned and the lobster was saved by the sauce.
