Proper Bagel

This is the most exciting bagel place I have been to! Very interesting bagel and cream cheese flavors had us experiencing some analysis paralysis, leading us to order two sweet bagels which were delicious but had my girlfriend & I saying "we messed up" two bites in. The lavender honey cream cheese is a 9/10 delicious flavor that is somehow not overpowering but also not subtle. My girlfriend got the cookie dough cream cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel which was delicious for a few bites but then was too much. The coffee and chai latte were delicious. We decided that the best thing to order would've been one of the bagel sandwiches and then a plain bagel with sides of all the cream cheeses we want to try. This place was busy but definitely worth the hype if you have some time to spare!

I never expected to be part of a comedy routine so early in the morning. But I'll take it.Just your ordinary average, pretty good everything bagel with a year supply of cream cheese on it.

I'm so conflicted about this bagel spot. I love bagels and was so excited to try out somewhere so well reviewed and close by. My boyfriend and I arrive 6 minutes after they opened and ordered 2 bagel sandwiches. We were told it would take 30 minutes, which didn't seem like a big deal considering there was a little bit of a line in front of us and they had just opened.We ended up waiting for 40 minutes. This wouldn't have been a big deal, but it seemed like everyone who asked for their order to go was getting their food much quicker than those who had requested to eat their food at the restaurant. We ended up taking our bagels to go due to the long wait. That being said, the bagels were SO GOOD! I would get it again, but would need to understand the best time to go/get the food to go to avoid the long wait.

I came here for the first time this morning and I believe I'm in love! I just moved here from the northeast and have been missing a good bagel. I ordered the nova bagel with lox and cream cheese on a spinach everything bagel. I was a very happy girl to say the least. The girls that work here are super sweet and helpful when ordering. I also ordered the lavender honey latte which was just delish. A little bit of the downside is the parking and the wait but honestly... its worth it.

I got the veggie burger sandwich. It didn't come with cream cheese, but their spreads looked yummy so I decided to add it on. I chose the spinach everything bagel, which didn't really taste like spinach (mainly for color). I liked the sandwich, especially the sweet tomato jam. It came with a side of sweet mashed potatoes. My only con would be the price. I paid $16, which could get me a full size sandwich elsewhere.

The best NY-style bagel shop in Nashville. Their portions are amazing and everything is made fresh and delicious. They have so many cream cheese flavors to choose from and you have the option of choosing the amount of cream cheese you want so to me that's a huge plus. I'm so glad I discovered this place!

Amazing bagels!!!!! Can't say enough good things about this place. We ordered online & it was ready right when we got there. There were a decent amount of seats inside, but it was very crowded, so we ended up taking it to-go. They had lots of bagel options & even more cream cheese options that were unique and can't find anywhere else. They also had matzo ball soup and other various deli/market items like kale salad, chicken salad and bakery items. We tried the chocolate ganache bar & it was sooo good. If I lived in Nashville - I think I would go back every weekend.

Amazing place to get bagels!! Everyone was so nice and helpful with the menu, which is extremely customizable and delicious with a bunch of cream cheese and meat options. Our group tried 4 different sandwiches and enjoyed them all. With 3 drinks our tab came to about $60 which is a great price for 4 people to eat out. It's a casual space but a bit tiny for all of the traffic they get. We didn't have to wait to order but there was only one open space for our group to sit, so be aware take out may be your best option.

Just plain delicious. Your heart skips a beat as you enter and walk along the glass counter of beautiful kinds of spreads. How to pick ??? Well I love the blueberry pie or peach pie (seasonal) cheesecake spreads on a lightly toasted bagel. Note* you can pick how much you cream cheese do pay attention when ordering!Service is efficient , and several people walked by our table to ask if we needed anything- very friendly. And very clean I noticed, too. It's tight in the building so you can certainly get your good to go. Great place to meet friends !

Extremely busy. Unique cream cheeses and other bagel options. Fast paced. Highly recommend because of unique menu and well known for their fresh salmon from Brooklyn, NY.
