Had the opportunity to stop by this weekend and for the most part was very impressed with the baked goods! The jalapeño cheddar loaf has to be one of my favorites (besides the olive loaf). Croissants are even better than they used to be, I opted for the plain. They have many kinds of croissants - I hope one day they will do ham and cheese! The pizza was very special! It's like none other! I'd describe the pizza as a fully loaded sourdough focaccia with pizza toppings. So amazing, the crust was a treat! Highly recommend for a quick lunch.Baguettes are always a hit for me, would never leave without them. The Khorasan loaf was a little browner than I'd like, in the future I'll ask for a lighter colored loaf. I was so thrilled to find Culture Clash yogurt here! What a treat.. the POG (pineapple, orange, guava) flavor was amazing. I hope they start selling the larger packs of Culture Clash, because 8oz doesn't last long! I do hope in the future they fill up more of the location with local retail goodies.. particularly anything that goes with bread (butter, cream cheese, veggies, etc).Service was a little rushed, but the bread was worth the hassle! There is just something about Proof Bread that makes it amazing. Is it the labor of love? Recipe? Local ground flour? I'm not sure, but you should try some when you have a chance.

The proof is in the bread. My brother is currently obsessed with all things baking, so visiting Proof while in Phoenix was a no-brainer. This sourdough bakery crafts gluten goodies on the daily. We arrived mid-day and Proof still had a variety of items available in the showcase: croissants, loafs, chunky cookies, and several pizzas.I grabbed a margarita pizza to-go and a iced vanilla latte with oat milk. The pizza was thicc, chewie, and topped with the juiciest tomatoes. Sourdough pizza is different than anything I've ever tasted and I can officially say I'm a fan.The latte was also tasty and packed the perfect caffeinated umph to the second half of my day. Proof sells a variety of non-baked items, including trendy mugs, almond butter, jam, vinegar, honey, coffee beans, etc. The perfect spot for a unique gift for your artisanal-loving-buddy.

Proof Bread, what a treat. I've tried them before but haven't visited any of their bakeries until now. They are a featured business on TooGoodToGo, an app dedicated to reducing food waste. Be aware: their bags go fast. I was lucky enough to reserve one yesterday so I could pick it up today from 2-230, after they close.I arrived a few minutes early and went to the side window as instructed. Even though I was early, the employee was helpful and picked out a bag for me. I got home and saw it was a chocolate croissant and a chocolate & fruit loaf, score. I really enjoyed the loaf; it was filled with chocolate and fruit bits and it was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Perfect texture. The croissant was good as well, evenly distributed filling.I look forward to coming back and trying their other goods! Glad to support a local business.

The service was great! The bakery/ shop was super clean and cute. I just wasn't really a fan of the baked goods! No photos this time, but I ordered the chocolate chip cookie and the almond croissant. They croissant was okay I just like when they taste really almondy, and it really didn't. It also had this filling that had some flavor but nothing great. The chocolate chip cookie was huge but not good at all, I took one bite and tossed it. Maybe I didn't like the taste, but you might! Give them a try!

Proof is not your grocery store bakery. One bite into their croissants and you realize you have something special. As someone who still bakes from scratch, the quality of the ingredients is immediately noticeable and the price reflects this. It is also a somewhat dangerous place. After enjoying an incredible slice of pizza for lunch, all my resolve left when my daughter appeared with the chocolate croissant. I felt so guilty finishing it that I brought home a chocolate chip cookie for my husband (okay, I accidentally took a bite of it!)

Proof bread is absolutely delicious. This location is very spacious. Everything I've tried from them I love. Price is a little on the higher side but you can find them on too good to go so that's a more affordable option. I recently tried the almond croissant which was amazing. I also love their sourdoughs. Their danishes are also good. Service was friendly. Definitely one of my favorite bakeries in the Valley.

The Khorosan bread is incredible!! Ditto the croissants. (Coffee .... not quite as amazing.) So grateful for the Shea location, but I wish we had one closer to Camelback and 44th. hint hint.

First time stopping in & we needed a baguette so that's all we can rate, but everything else looked wonderful. We will definitely be back for all our fresh bread needs when we move to the area shortly. The baguette was perfect...crusty outside & soft/chewy inside. It was perfect for our homemade pesto.

This place gets busy but the staff is friendly and quick. I got a bag of breads and pastry's that were delicious. It's reminds me of a place back home in the Bay Area called Acme Breads. Same good quality and freshness.

Yummy! Who doesn't like bread? Especially sourdough. Their special treats are delicious and so is their coffee. Great hidden gem near 32nd Sheaborhood. The staff is passionate about the food and the market is cute.
