Oh hello Proof West! I don't know why I didn't know about this location sooner, but now I will be back more often. I was lucky enough to pick up their last Boston Cream croissant, and what a pleasant surprise it was. The team truly executed the essence of a Boston Cream Pie in a croissant perfectly. Sadly, a limited edition offering, which I hope will be back soon (or something just as amazing in its place). I finally got to try a ham and cheese classic croissant, which is everything I had hoped it would be. While $10 seems like a lot for a croissant, I can assure you they are a healthy size and relatively filling! I feel the ham and cheese croissant is a meal in itself. Keep in mind very few places source local fresh ground grains and use a sourdough starter for their croissants.I picked up a morning bun because they looked so darned good! If you love cinnamon rolls, this is a must try. I was excited to see they had the jalapeño cheddar loaf and green olive boule in stock as well.. both of which I highly recommended. Service was excellent and they were even offering some bread samples, which is fantastic! Proof West is well stocked and such a cute stop. I was thrilled to see Proof is starting to sell their own flour and the community's beloved Harriet (sourdough starter). Today I decided to grab a bag of Rouge de Bordeaux and can't wait to experiment with it. Hoping they come out with some recipes or a cookbook, and definitely some directions for keeping Harriet happy. Looking forward to my next visit and what is in store for Proof in the coming months! They've come so far in such a short time!

I have found my new favorite bakery! This shop in the West Valley of the Phoenix area also has a full café that I completely ignored on my first trip here, because I was so excited about the bread and pastries that are made with locally grown Rouge de Bordeaux wheat milled in-house at their Shea location. The ingredients here are so clean and so high-quality. Everything has the sourdough base. All ingredients are listed underneath each item. The bread is made with flour, water, Harriet & salt. For the Green Olive Boule set out for sampling on Sunday, they add the local Queen Creek green olives. I sampled this loaf and was amazed at the green olive aroma coming off of the samples. I loved the taste of the fresh sourdough, and could easily taste the green olives as well. It was a subtle sour and salty flavor. I immediately grabbed a loaf to take home.My daughter raved about how delicious her fruit pastry was and wanted to know where this bakery was so that she could go back. Luckily, they are close to home and work for her in Litchfield Park. The chocolate chip cookies are one of the best I've ever tried. They taste and smell home baked and are nice and big & thick. They are crispy on the outside but chewy in the middle. There are also pizzas available here made on the sourdough focaccia bread. These pizzas look so good and I really would love to come in for the lunch special one of these days. Every day lunch special includes: a slice of sourdough pizza, your choice of soda, milk, or water & classic chocolate chip cookie for $12.The service here is so friendly and helpful. I asked about eggs being in the pastries due to my egg yolk allergy and they were happy to discuss ingredients and options. I ordered five pastries and they let me know that if I got six pastries, I got a discount. I jumped all over that and ordered the fruit tart.I was really so impressed that we have such a high-quality bakery that puts a lot of time, love and attention into the quality of ingredients as well as the outcome and presentation so close to us here in the West valley.

This charming bakery offers a delightful array of freshly baked goods, including a variety of artisan bread and delectable pastries. Standout items include the Roman pizza and the irresistible sourdough and almond croissants.Don't miss out on trying their Dirty Chai, a unique and flavorful beverage that combines chai with a shot of espresso for a delightful twist. I like getting it iced and if you have other dairy preferences they can customize your drink. This bakery is a haven for those seeking high-quality, artisanal treats in a small cozy setting. There are only two tables so it's not a place to bring a party but to sip some morning brew and have some delightful pastries to yourself. Whether you're looking for a quick snack or to stock up on bread, this bakery is sure to leave you satisfied and eager for a return visit.

This is my fave bakery to get iced lavender latte coffee and an almond croissant. The croissant is soft, and sweet, and has a perfect crunch with almond toppings. The iced coffee is bold and strong, and I like the hint of lavender. Inside the bakery is small and has limited seating area. They have different types of artisan bread that can sliced inside the premises. This is a good stop to start my morning.

The bread is amazing unlike any other bread I've had. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. You do have to get there early in the morning otherwise they run out towards the end and the bread won't be as fresh.

It's Saturday and we realized almost too late we were running out of our stash of Hope's Artisan Sourdough bread. We hopped in the car to get here before they closed. We got there just in time! Phew. (Hope's is only open from Thursday to Saturday.) The line was long and they almost ran out of bread by the time we arrived. We ordered two loaves of sourdough a brownie and a lemon cookie. The pastries and bread were all displayed. It's a cute little store and the cashiers were friendly. Maybe some soft music might help it feel even more cozy? We will be coming here for a long time. I'd much rather buy sourdough bread from here then at the store. Why? Because it's better for you!

While I still totally love Hopes todays visit was a little of a bummer for a few reasons. First bring their coffee items seemed so much more limited than my last stop. There were no cold brew options, no sf vanilla and only a few other sf options. Dairy lacked as well with no half and half or whipping cream. They did however kill it with my sourdough loaf as always. I also picked up a brownie which was still a little warm. I opted for a sf white chocolate iced latte with oat milk today. It was ok, but I'd prefer the vanilla if they'd had it. Hopefully they add s coffee menu back onto the wall since we were left kind of guessing what our possible options were. Service was great as always and the location clean. I am kicking myself for not taking home some quiche or a jalepeno sour dough. There's always next time.

This is by far one of the most friendly, loving and generous bakery I've ever been to. I've been all over the world and by far,The customer service was exquisite and the ambience was delightful. I had the honor of being asked by Nick the Ower if I would like to try A slice of quiche. Of course, I said yes. And what a delight it turned out to be... Broccoli cheddar was my choice. I've been eating quiche since the book "real men don't eat quiche" came out... I've had my share of quiche and never has it tasted like this. The crust had the perfect light flaky consistency. The eggs were light and fluffy. The broccoli was cooked Al dente. Each bite I took was more delectable then the one before. I also, tried the zucchini muffin it was Again, made with love and the perfect consistency of flavors, so light and fluffy. The bakery is getting the homemade sourdough bread loaves ready for tomorrow's entourage of excited customers. Tomorrow they'll have regular sourdough, jalapeño cheese Multi grain and a few others. They open at 8 AM, I spent about 45 minutes at the bakery. I watched numerous joyful customers come in to purchase the sourdough bread, sadly, they had already sold out.Tomorrow they will have fresh loaves ready to buy and enjoy. I am so excited to find this bakery in our neighborhood. They've been open for three years and We just found them. Almost forgot, the Oat Milk latte was perfect! Blessings to all... Thank you Hope's bakery, for making our community that much sweeter! Soul Inspired Art by Maggie

We tried out this cozy bakery off the beaten path and were delighted to find delicious pastries (e.g. double baked chocolate and almond croissants with glaze) and beautifully detailed breads which we picked out and had cut into sandwich slices. There are a variety of specialty coffees to round out this special breakfast that!
