Princess Pub and Grille

The noticeable vibe of little Italy is quite prevalent in this pub. I went the day England had nail biter of a game and the cheers were all there for fans and non fans. The waiter seemed a little overwhelmed but he definitely kept his composure and was very kind. Some good selection of english ales but they only had Guinness on tap for stouts. I found that odd for an English pub. Their food was decent my friend and I both got the full english. Didn't have black or white sausages which was disappointing but overall not terrible. If you can find a parking spot this isn't a bad choice if you're in the neighborhood and not craving Italian food.

Worst customer service here from a girl at the bar. Yes I understand it's late but it's Friday night and it's YOUR JOB! The girl was so rude and annoyed that I was ordering from her. Will never go to this place again. Beware girl at the bar with short hair and seems to be"highlights" SKIPPPPPPPPPP this place 100% worst customer service ever! If I could give a no stars I would! Also my friend and I are colored people so I think that definitely had something to do with it. HARD NO. NEVER EVER!!!

5 Stars. Hear me out simply. It's a pub. What you want? To dab your mouth with a white towel after every bite of food? Great bar/pub atmosphere. They serve you fast like a bar should.

Very frustrating experience. The girl we had as our bartender was probably the bitchiest bartender I've ever had. We went for happy hour and she told us our tab was 21$ for 2 beers. We asked how that makes sense and she said the Guinness we ordered was 12$. Seems like the bartenders make their own prices which is very sketchy. To top it off the Guinness tasted like shit and was warm. We went back to same bartender and she gave us major attitude about the beer being warm??? Not our fault but ok. She gave us another beer but I'm sure it wasn't 12$ like the Guinness apparently was. Not worth going here!!! I would not recommend anyone go here in general but especially DO NOT GO FOR HAPPY HOUR. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Walking through little Italy to find a breakfast spot and ultimately choose this place. Some establishments had lines out the door. This pub was not crazy busy but had breakfast, brunch or all day food items, so we decided to try. We had the garlic parmesan wings and angus burger, not breakfast but worked out perfect! Too hungry and didn't get pictures. Other than our fries being a little salty, the food and drinks were good. Staff were very attentive and just great customer service.

Princess Pub and Grille is located in the heart of Little Italy off India Street and the corner of Date right off the Piazza, serving up food in drinks in a Brittish style pub environment.I have come here multiple times, thinking each time will get better, but unfortunately, it hasn't. First off, the drinks are highly overpriced, and they are clearly here for the tourist and really can care less about the locals. They have ample sitting inside with a bar and multiple tvs playing sports throughout the day. They also have seating outside in the Pavillion where you can have a cold beer and food and sit outside and watch people stroll through little Italy.They have specials in food and drinks throughout the week, such as wing nights and tacos, and they also serve a mean pozole on the weekends. Customer service is great. However, they do not have Google or Apple pay, so all purchases must be made by credit card of cash. Overall, Princess Pub might be known for their fish and chips and pozole, but the prices on items are out of this world and are clearly targeted for tourists. I understand that San Diego might be an expensive city to live in, but these prices are just way too much for anyone to afford. Please go with caution and understand how much everything is before purchasing.

It's an authentic pub with unique cocktails and traditional fish & chips- and I love that combo. Don't sleep on the bacon Bloody Mary, one of the best value items! Service is top notch. There's indoor and outdoor seating and a great bar. Grab a spot by the fire if it's cool outside.

The food at Princess Pub and Grille is amazing, we have been here at least 10 times in 2023.The service is friendly and fun. The ambience is exciting because you can watch all of the fun happy people walking by and eating in the plaza familia. The plaza is in the heart of little Italy. Be sure to try the cottage pie. It is a seasoned beef topped with mashed potatoes and it's our favorite! There is a tremendous selection of beer and they do cocktails and wine as well. Everything you could ask for in a British pub in the middle of Little Italy.
