Prince's Hot Chicken

Seasoned chickenStopped here on a recommendation. My sons are chicken enthusiast so I couldn't pass it up. We bought chicken strips and a chicken sandwich. Both enjoyed their respective item but the son with the sandwich wished for more sauce. I didn't request a packet and didn't know to grab one. I neglected to consider that. Otherwise, they were pleased. Both said it was good!

The thing I love about Princes's Hot Chicken is that it is the OG! This location is in the airport with a walk up kiosk so it makes ordering quick and easy while you're on the go while traveling. The service was friendly and they give you plenty of napkins, silverware, and package you up and get you on the way. The chicken is a little crispier than I like, but the seasoning is superb.

Baby's first time at Prince's! Nothing like sweating and panting while eating Nashville hot chicken in the airport terminal. LOL! Only thing I would change is having enough pickle for every single bite. Self-serve ordering kiosk for airport convenience, and the food came out super quick.

I've never been a big fan of Nashville Hot Chicken, but I decided to try it at the source--Prince's Hot Chicken in Nashville. I went for the medium heat 1/2 chicken, with seasoned crinkle-cut fries and mac & cheese on the side. The chicken was outstanding--crispy on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside. The spice level was spot-on, giving just the right amount of heat.The sides were solid: the fries were well-seasoned and crunchy, while the mac & cheese was creamy and comforting, just as you'd hope. A glass of sweet tea rounded out the meal perfectly. After trying Prince's, I'm a convert. This was easily some of the best fried chicken I've had in a long time, and it made me appreciate Nashville Hot Chicken the way it's meant to be.

Fingers were good. Made from whole breast meat and not processed/pressed into shape leftovers. Fries were crinkle cut and lightly seasoned. Got medium on the fingers and it had some kick.

Friendly and fast service. Placed my order for a medium hot chicken biscuit and literally not even two minutes after paying, it was ready. It may have been because I was the only customer at 3:50am. The cashier told me they open at 4am but today they opened earlier. It's a breakfast menu. I also got their strawberry lemonade which was really good and sweet! For spice levels, I am a spice fanatic: medium hot is spicy. It leaves a lingering burn even after the sandwich was fully consumed. I could only imagine what hot or the last spice level would be.

Had time to kill so I decided to eat at the other hot chicken spot I read about. You can place your order the counter or self service kiosk. I chose the kiosk as the associate didn't seem friendly. Easy enough to follow. Paid and waited for my order. They also have beverages in a refrigerator in addition to the soda fountain. And bags of chips. I ordered the chicken tenders with fries. Medium hot. The spice level is more spicy than Hattie B's. The chicken tenders were not that tender but a good serving size. The fries were average. My preference is still the other brand. But for spice level Prince's is king. Associates were ok. Not friendly.

Medium is HoT. But was a good sized filet. Just be prepared to take the heat. Strawberry lemon did good too

This was the first hot chicken spot I tried in Nashville. I tried it in the airport as I was waiting for my flight back home. Food - Salad with Extra Hot Tenders:The salad itself was not bad. Good vegetables and lots of dressing options. I got the balsamic vinaigrette which was pretty good. The extra hot tenders were juicy and good pieces of chicken. The tenders were cut up. However, the flavor was so one dimensional. There was no flavor, no spice. I ordered the spiciest level on the menu, but it was not spicy to me. It also just tasted like salty seasoning, no real flavor to the chicken unfortunately. I was disappointed since this was my first Nashville hot chicken experience. Hot Chicken Tenders:The hot chicken tenders were the same as the extra hot one just less salty, so I did enjoy the hot ones a bit more. But still, would not get it again.Side Fries:Good fries! I do like their honey mustard sauce and fries. The honey mustard was rich and sweet, and the fries were nicely crispy on the outside and not too dense on the inside. Light seasoning was nice too.Service -Good and fast. At the airport so everything is to go. No complaints here!Ambiance - Again, it's at the airport so it is just a small little to go store.

It was nobody there. The store just across USO. The service is definitely slow. Grandma told her time to move the food from the kitchen window to the front table. Grandma like to talk to customer. The quality and quantity was OK, the portion is toward large. It wasn't bad at all, but I think they need to improve customer relationship or management. You can order thru cashier or kiosk (they got three). No sitting. Overall it was a OK experience. A mild chicken tasted more like spicy chicken to me.
