Prince's Hot Chicken

Prince's is considered the original Nashville hot chicken. This location is new, inside the food hall. The line is long but it goes fairly quickly.Highly recommended the jumbo strips (although I do wish they had an option for 3 tenders). I went with medium which was plenty spicy! I ordered a side of ranch, extra pickles and a corn muffin. Delish!!Since this is a food hall, the ambiance is exactly that. Large, open, a little loud. You may end up at a picnic table with others or you may be lucky enough to snag an outside table.

Pretty disappointed after having hot chicken at a few other places on our trip. The chicken in the sandwich is small, there's not enough sauce, and the chicken isn't particularly juicy. The kickin' ranch sauce was alright. They said no to letting us try the other sweet spicy one on the side. We were especially disappointed by how dry the chicken tenders were. We came pretty early in the day so was surprised that they overcooked it. The tender doesn't come with any sauce, so the dryness was especially obvious. Skip Prince's and go somewhere else.

In my opinion, better than Hattie b's. We got the chicken sandwich with ranch on the side. It was the perfect kick (medium), tender and juicy, super filling, and overall a very enjoyable chicken sandwich. Don't mess around and go too spicy because they are seasoned well. We were told medium would be around a bit hotter than jalapeño. The hot tenders had us crying and chugging water.

One of the legends of hot chicken in Nashville, this place meets expectations. Chicken was crispy and juicy and full of flavor and heat. This place was busy but the staff were good and things came out with a reasonable wait, prices were also reasonable. The wings i got here were really good and boy the seasoning heat they use in Nashville is next level.

Personally will be back for the bone-in wings :) Well-fried crinkle cut fries as well!Ordered: - Medium tenders (4/5): great crunch and texture. Prince's Hot Chicken is hands down the best spot for some incredible spicy chicken! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff here are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. They even come up to your table to chat, making the experience feel personal and welcoming. The chicken is nothing short of amazing--perfectly crispy, incredibly flavorful, and with just the right amount of heat to satisfy spice lovers. Every bite is packed with deliciousness that leaves you craving more.We ordered the sweet heat chicken sandwich which is probably my new go to when I don't order their medium tenders. Definitely be aware that they are spicy, medium/mild still has a solid kick to it so I can't imagine how spicy the hotter flavors are. But the chicken is always moist, perfectly crunchy, and packs a spicy punch in the best way. The fries are seasoned well just always order them on the well done side for a great crispy fry. If you're looking for a place with great food and even better service, Prince's Hot Chicken is the place to be. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves good food and great company. Can't wait to come back!

Our whole family was on a road trip, and we purposely took a detour just to try this spot. We wanted to eat traditional Nashville, hot chicken, and after all of our research, Prince's came out on top as the place to visit.I consider myself to have a high tolerance for spicy food. So when I walked up to the counter and ordered the second to last spiciest thing on the menu and the woman at the register stopped me dead in my tracks, I was shocked. She warned me that this was not the typical Hot, but not really hot type of meal. I heeded her warning.The entire staff was very friendly, from beginning to end. The restaurant has that kind of mom and Pop vibe that franchises lack.The food... Let's just say the woman at the register was not exaggerating one bit. I seriously struggled with the heat of the third to last hottest thing on the menu. This is no joke, people. This is seriously hot chicken.Good thing that we ordered some non-spicy versions, to really get a taste for the chicken itself. My God, what a juicy, crispy, delightful experience this place was. The sides were all pretty much phenomenal. Perfect for accompanying the chicken.We bought plenty, and had leftovers for the next couple of days. I was glad to be able to enjoy this beyond the initial visit. Next time I'm in the area, you better believe I'm coming back here.

On my Nashville food tour I got to visit Prince's Hot Chicken! The food here was fantastic and it was clear by the extra long lunch lines. My personal favorite off the menu was the Chicken Salad. The produce was fresh and the chicken was juicy. Whenever I'm in Nashville I have to make a trip here it's a MUST !!

This was on my SIL list of places to try while we were in Nashville. It was a busy night and we needed a quick bite before heading to a show. Customer service was great. Food is made fresh to order so there was a little wait time. They had a 2 piece slider special that was not on the menu. We also ordered the 4 piece chicken strips with fries. We ordered the lowest heat (mild) not knowing what to expect. It wasn't spicy at all but it did give my lips a tingling. The chicken strips were pretty sizable and thick. It was breast meat so it was dry and it made it hard to eat. They do charge you for sauces which I think is crazy as it should be included with the meal. One and done. I don't need to come back.

This restaurant is located on the second floor of the assembly food all on Broadway. We arrived when the line wasn't crazy long yet and we were helped by a girl named Sierra. She was the sweetest and most helpful cashier as this was our first time trying this place since we had heard so much about it. Sierra is a kindergarten teacher and she works here part time but she is amazingly kind and even told this about the happy hour that made our chicken meals half-price. We got two chicken sandwich meals which came with the chicken sandwich aside and a drink for eight or nine bucks. We both tried different sauces and different heat levels so we could try both. Let mestart by saying chicken is grilled on the inside but breaded deliciously on the outside. The chicken has a perfect crisp and the sauces were both delicious for me. I am a wimp so the mild was hot enough for me and my cousin likes the hot heat. My mild heat sandwich had some type of ranch sauce and hers had some type of honey sauce. I like the honey sauce more. I normally don't like pickles, but the pickles kind of offset the heat for me so I added them to my sandwich the coleslaw was also delicious and that was also good because it also helped with the, heat of the spices. The fries were crispy and cooked to perfection with their late seasoning. The fries were firm and golden colored. The macaroni and cheese was a perfect texture. I think all of the food was very delicious and we would've loved to have it again. The service was top-notch. The food was top-notch, and the ambience of the food hall was very modern and hip with plenty of seating locations.
