Prince’s Hot Chicken

This is a super busy, hoppin" place. We ordered our food and the staff let us know it works take a bit longs since we ordered a 1/4 chicken. Staff can't to our table to give a status update -- that's great costumer service!!I ordered the chicken sandwich mild with a side of potato salad and Mac and cheese. All super good -- the mild has a bit of a bite so done get it if you have no spice tolerance. We also had the 1/4 white meat fried chicken medium with a side of Mac and cheese. My son, who is a chili eating Mexican was in horrific pain. He said the chicken was good nonetheless. My other son ordered the tortilla bowl with the hot chicken. Although he reported the meal to be really good, he sweat profusely throughout. LOL!

If you're visiting Nashville, Prince's Hot Chicken is a must-try spot, and I had to check it out to see what all the hype is about. I ordered the hot spicy fried chicken sandwich, and it didn't disappoint. The spice had a real kick, but what stood out was the depth of flavor--it wasn't the artificial spice you get at other places. It had a rich sweetness that balanced the heat perfectly.The mac and cheese was heavy and cheesy, though nothing too remarkable, and the fries were just average. Still, Prince's hot chicken sandwich is definitely worth it for the authentic experience. The ambiance was great, with a lot of locals dining in, showcasing its deep roots in the community. The service was fast too--there wasn't a rush, and my food was out in less than 10 minutes.If you're in Nashville and looking for an iconic hot chicken experience, I'd highly recommend Prince's!

Ordered the 4pc tender meal. 2 hot and 2 mild. Ordered a few different side items. Had fries, greens and baked beans. Also ordered 2 drinks. $28 seemed a bit high for chicken fingers. Forgot to mention, they do charge for each ranch. Most places do include at least one "dipping" sauce with their meals.The chicken was hot, temperature wise. The flavor, was just ok. All of the side items were good; was shocked that they didn't carry/offer hot sauce for the greens. I was told that the owner didn't like hot sauce in her restaurant. To each their own. The restaurant was clean, plenty of staff. May or may not try it again. It was on the bucket list, I can say I've been there now.

I was at Tanger Outlet and decided to give this place a try. I can say I liked it so much. The hot is hot if you love hot like I do. The service was fast and quick. Didn't have to wait long at all. The atmosphere is family friendly and the music is versatile. This is a must go to spot.

Great spot to try out the original Nashville Hot Chicken. . Beautifully decorated inside and excellent service. An extra bonus is the beautiful space outside that you can enjoy your meal and people watch.

I love hot chicken and living in Nashville area you get the best of all! Prices hot chicken is legit hot! We I usually order hot or above the next level of heat, I'm able to handle it at any hot chicken location. But oooofff not at princes . The heat level hot is FIRE! like literally super spicy! It's good, but I'm not sure if I can handle if. Every time I order it, I tell myself next time I need to order a level down, so I am writing this review to reference back to remind myself lol. The chicken here is huge! You can eat one and be satisfied! I love the extra pickles with toast too! Yum! Love the location! You can do some shopping and have dinner or lunch! Super convenient for me and a lot closer vs other locations, also right off the highway. It's super clean inside and the staff are very friendly. This is a location that I will definitely be coming back to over and over.

Our first stop when we wanted some hot chicken on our visit before heading to some civil war sites! Their medium spice was spicy enough and their lite medium spice was just a big flavor bomb with a slight touch of spice. Our server told us if we have been to the other hot chicken spots around Nashville, then we should order a notch down when it came to ordering with their spice levels because Prince's was hotter than the rest. The French fries also had a bit of seasoning on them and usually I'm not a Ken's ranch fan but something about that ranch dressing and Prince's fries just addictively hit. Also tried the Chess pie, as our server also said this recipe was the closest to his Nana's recipe, it was way too sweet for my taste but I could see why it's a big hit for some in TN. This location seemed to be in a newer development with a string of new home constructions around them, hope they continue to have great success there!

The service was quick and great, the employee who checked us out was very sweet, and it did not take long for our food to come out to us. The chicken was juicy and great portion sized, flavorful. I would say however that the mild was spicier than I anticipated I usually go for mild and it's not too much but this one was pretty hot. Not too hot to enjoy though! If I was going to rate the Mac and cheese alone I'd give it a 3/5. The ambiance was nice and bright, cute to bring your family or go alone.

The whiskey frozen lemonade (nice flavor, not for serious drinkers though) and the fries were the highlight of this place. I am from GA and was not impressed with the chicken wings. Maybe I will try something else next time, but for now it's the wings and frozen lemonade for me. The staff was excellent and very personable.

They have great chicken sandwiches and the fries are some of the best! One of the nice things about this place is for just about all items you can choose a sauce flavor and the level of heat. For the chicken sandwich we had the sweet at medium. It was really good. The chicken was crisp and tasty. Also, their fries are some of the best! The service is very good. If you're eating outside let them know and they'll bring the order to you. The ambience is casual and it looks like they have a spot for performances.
