Prime Steakhouse

I'm going 3 starts because the server was great, atmosphere and prices were good too. But... the food was just ok. Steaks lacked seasoning, and so did the apps. We got deviled eggs, bone marrow and crab stuffed prawns. Just kind of meh. My steak was good, just really needed salt. Husbands meat was good, again needed salt and less sauce. I'm removing another star for the peppercorn sauce. We both tried it on the side, thank goodness we did. After we both tasted it, same basic answer- tastes like the smell of a petting zoo barn... now that's just us, so if you like it, more power to you. Chimichurri was good, more of a vinaigrette, but made the steak good.I think this place could be better than it was, and maybe other nights it is. I'd give it another try some time, but down the road.

We visited Prime for a celebration dinner recently and had an excellent meal. It has more of a casual atmosphere for a steak place, but the food is really good.Service was nice and fast (and they were particularly good filling water glasses and clearing plates). It is not a big wine glass, but they have some good Washington reds and we ordered one. For appetizers, we had the bruschetta. This had great tomatoes and I loved the garlic crostini. For the steak, I had the tomahawk (which was a bone-in ribeye). It normally comes with something called a cowboy rub, but that included coffee which was not of interest. The steak was cooked absolutely perfectly at medium rare and very flavorful, just wonderful. I ordered this with the baked potato--make sure to get this with cheddar cheese and bacon. We also had the mushrooms and asparagus--both those were excellent as well. Then for dessert, I split the flourless chocolate cake. This was good, but was elevated with great ice cream and then caramel sauce.We will definitely be back.

It was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. The food was fantastic! We started with the baby greens salad and it didn't disappoint. It was a nice blend of flavors. I would have liked to get more of the goodies (strawberries, cheese) but it was still great. The lamb chops are a must! Cooked perfectly and not overdone. I got a 8 oz filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes. I haven't had steak in over a year because I like my steak medium and had to wait to have my baby to truly enjoy a great steak. This was the best steak I've had in a long time. The service was nice. Our waiter was kind, but I did notice he did take longer than what I would have expected. We went during lunch and it was pretty empty. Other than that, the place is clean and a very friendly atmosphere.

Went here with my son to celebrate an event. I had the t-bone and he had the burger. Very good steaks and the atmosphere is cozy and nice. Service is really good. Will definitely be back.

Solid, causal steakhouse! Came with no expectations but the daily late night happy hour menu really drew us in. Service - perf. Ladies were friendly, down to Earth & helpful. Atmosphere was super welcoming & homey feeling!The food:Where else are you going to find a tomahawk + side for $66?????? This was my boyfriend's pick but I had a few bites. I thought it was good but boyfriend gave it 3/5 but he's a true cowboy. Still! Big bang for your buck right here!PRIME stroganoff. If you're going to throw your namesake in front of a dish I'm expecting it to be good if you want to put your name on it and it was good!! I haven't had many stroganoff but I'm a slut for mixed mushrooms and truffle!! 4/5Y'all the $15 BONE MARROW made this trip worth it. By far my favorite thing we ate here. They brought our 3 huge bone marrows and walked us through how they eat it at Prime. Crostini+ bacon jam+ marrow+ top with arugula (the pickled red onions is my favorite part) yes yes yes 8/5!! lol Crab & shiitake spring roll... you can probably skip these it's 90% carrot 2/5Overall, a wonderful place for cocktails and happy hour! I will definitely be back for more :)

Came here for a lunch meeting and didn't want to get a heavy steak. Noticed there was a prime rib dip sandwich on the menu for a decent price.I was absolutely amazed by how delicious this sandwich was. It had some caramelized onions and a very light amount of horseradish already applied to the bun. It was as if they knew what I wanted on my sandwich. Each dip into the au jus was as if an angel were diving into a lake. The sounds of the church choir in the back of my head pressed on with each bite of this amazing sandwich. I was amazed and yet so happy with this piece of sandwich perfection. Absolutely the best Prime Rib Dip sandwich I've ever had in my life. Great job Prime Steakhouse!

Was here for a goodbye party for a colleague moving to another team. Unfortunately I was super stuffed from lunch, so I just sampled a couple of appetizers, everything tasted very good. The bone marrow might be my item here, will definitely come back for that! Beef bites were a way too garlicky for me, but others liked them a lot. Anyway great steakhouse spot in Redmond and great service!

My husband and I came here for our anniversary. We had a reservation for 6:45. When we walked in the host greeted us right away. She was friendly and took us to our table. We were greeted by our server right away and she took our drink order. We ordered the 8 oz filet with mashed potatoes and the half chicken. We also ordered the mushroom risotto and spinach for the table. The steak came out perfectly cook to med rare and was brushed with garlic butter. The mashed potatoes were ok. Nothing special about them. The spinach was tasteless. It was wilted steamed spinach with a couple fried scallions on top. The risotto was pretty bland tasting also. I've ordered risotto at enough places that I should just know by now to not ever order it because it will never be as good as I can make at home. My husband half chicken was ok. It lacked flavor also. It was cooked perfect, tender and juicy, was just missing flavor. The ambiance was ok until a party of 16 got sat beside us. After they got there our server literally had to yell to us when she'd come by and check on us. We had to reply in yelling as it was so loud we couldn't even hear each other. A suggestion may be to have a party room? Or don't seat people by a party that big? The noise carries to much and by the end my husband and I were annoyed that we couldn't hear each other talk. We won't be back. There are to many amazing steak restaurants around this area to choose from. We were disappointed all around with our experience here. Server and host were awesome, everything else was a huge disappointment.

We've gone here for my birthday, for Mother's Day and to celebrate my teen son willing to get out of the house with his mom. The food is well priced, especially for Redmond. The parking is easy, especially for Redmond. And the service is excellent especially because of Redmond. When just my son and i went, i even got him to play Bananagrams with me. It's like a travel scrabble. We were in the midst of a game when our server came with the food. He noted the intense competition and carefully placed our food to not disturb the letter tiles. I was disappointed with my last visit to this steakhouse. We ordered the King Salmon and the Tomahawk. My salmon came out raw and had to be sent back and the asparagus was also undercooked and unseasoned. The quinoa tasted very bland. The restaurant itself had a very dirty vibe inside and out. The back side of the restaurant was rundown. The tomahawk was slightly over cooked from what we ordered but overall tasted great. Despite that, we won't be back given the price for each menu item and the overall ambiance not matching what we pay for.
