Beautiful interior with gorgeous plush seating. Cocktails are beyond amazing - I even asked for mocktails and they were so delicious, I didn't even miss the alcohol.Love that the menu is always rotating and changing. The seafood tower is wonderful. The tomahawk steak is out of this world. The hamachi crudo was pure heaven. Cold crab noodles were spicy and refreshing. The octopus tostada was decadent. And do not sleep on the desserts.On top of it all, the servers go above and beyond. Definitely one of my favorite spots to go to! And if you have a date to impress - well, this is the spot!

The atmosphere is a cool vibe.Everyone there is just outstanding. Very friendly and knowledgeable. So far, EVERYTHING I've had has been AMAZING!!!!The Steak is The Octopus Tostada Hamachi Crudo COLD Crab Noodle Even the Carrot dish is 5-Stars!

Located in the heart of the vibrant Roosevelt Row neighborhood in Phoenix, Pretty Penny restaurant offers a dining experience that exceeds expectations. Led by Chef Marcelino Ramos, in collaboration with Brenon Stuart and Sam Olguin, the culinary team delivers a delightful surprise with meticulously prepared dishes. Initially drawn in for drinks, we were seated at a bar table overlooking the bustling kitchen, where we witnessed the careful craft behind each plate. The "Persimmonator," with its blend of clear persimmon, cold-pressed pomegranate, red apple, mace, and vanilla Greek yogurt, and the "Brown Butter Paloma", featuring brown butter, grapefruit-lime whey, and blanco tequila, set the stage. Upon discovering the "Caviar at Cost" sign, we indulged in Russian sturgeon caviar served with crème fraîche and Pringles chips--an unexpected delight. As we departed, we knew we'd return to savor more of Pretty Penny's culinary treasures.

Love, love, love. Friendly staff, fun cocktails, fab food. Pesto hummus, chilled crab noodles, and citrus salads were my faves. We also tried the ceviche and roasted cauliflower. The bootstraps cocktail was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Excellent cocktails, and friendly service. We came in for Legends (their sister establishment) but they said it doesn't open until 7pm and they happily offered to seat us at Pretty Penny. I had the Ticket to Pearadise which was pearfection! It had poached pear, anise, cardamom, rooibos, basil, miso, ghee, and calvados. I loved it!My friend had the Passionfruit Negroni which had passionfruit, campari, sweet vermouth, and gin. This was a combo of tart, bitter, and sweet. My friend liked it.

New favorite spot downtown- for sure. And that means a lot coming from me. The drinks are actually worth the cost (unlike the places that charge you $15 for a margarita- yikes.) The food is delicious and always fresh no matter how busy the guys are. The staff is friendly and always makes time to speak with me regardless of how busy it is. They have great vegetarian options, which I always appreciate. The only thing I might recommend is having a vegan option (I'm pretty sure they use butter on the veggies, but don't quote me on that. ) Catch me there on the weekends if you're lucky

Had an incredible experience at Pretty Penny! We were served by Austin and ordered Hot Topic, Super Fly, Lambo Fizz & cocktail of the night Pisco Sour- all SO incredible and unique. Austin was an incredible server & when I come back I hope to sit in his section again.It was a unique experience to sit at the bar overlooking the "kitchen"- chefs plating beautiful food versus a bar & cocktails.

I want to gatekeep this place so it doesn't get too busy, but I need y'all to know how incredible it is. 10/10 recommend - honestly one of the best meals I've had in recent memory. We sat at the bar and had great service & conversation from everyone from the chef to server. Chef shared his inspirations behind the dishes and in depth details about the ingredients, which I love. "Le Prawn James" special - 10/10! Squid ink pasta served inside one is the biggest prawns I've seen, in an uni butter sauce. Absolutely incredible Octopus tostada - 10/10! Great texture contrast between the crunchy tostada & perfectly cooked tender octopus. Duck carpaccio - 9.5/10! Very flavorful with a plum sauce & ginger accents. A little light in quantity IMO. Uni & oyster special - 7/10. The only dish I wasn't just totally blown away by. I thought the portion was pretty small given the price tag and was a little bummed the seafood tower is only available on weekends now. They are running a promo for half price ALL bottles of wine before 7pm. Great wine list! I will be back soon!

Randomly came across their instagram and then looked into them and saw all the great reviews! We've gone in twice once in May and once June to celebrate special occasions. Each time has been an absolute treat. Definitely make reservations. We sat at the bar both times. I enjoyed being able to see all the magic happen and chatting a bit with the Chefs. I really wish i had the stomach to eat the whole menu and a liver to handle all the drinks. (if you can't tell i'm in love with this place.) Food: The menu has changed since the first time we went. Attempting to remember what I got. 1) Duck Carpaccio, Octapus tostada, NY strip, Scallops 10/102) NY strip, duck al pastor, caviar, octapus tostada , hiramasa crudo Definitely the caviar is worth giving a shot, we hadn't tried it before and we definitely had a lot of fun! Octapus tostada i think is my absolute favorite, it's so unique and flavorful-- like nothing i have ever had before. They have rotating daily specials which is super fun! Drinks:They have really unique cocktails as well as a diverse wine list with we typically look for french and italian wine, they had solid options at a good price point that we would've ordered if we were in the mood for wine. can't remember what we got exactly but we were happy, they also do a great job of helping you order if you're feeling indecisive. Service:The staff is super friendly and helpful super patient with giving suggestions and super passionate about their craft and it really shows in the experience and through their food and drinks. Overall highly recommend, but my recommendation isn't really necessary since this place truly speaks for itself! Can't wait to go back again!
