The service is impeccable though the restaurant, when full on a Saturday night, can be exceptionally loud...to the point it makes even a table conversation difficult. The food is excellent but dishes, even healthy ones, are frequently prepared with too much salt. The taste of the dish comes through... but is dampened.

Stopped in to have dinner this past Sunday and everything was great!! We were celebrating my daughter's high school graduation and dinner did not disappoint. The crispy boneless chicken was incredible and the blue cheese wedge salad was a great way to start the meal

Chef George is amazing & everything on the menu is wonderful!!! We had a spectacular evening of drinks, dinner & deserts!!We arrived at 730 w a party of 6 on a Friday night and were promptly seated at a nice round table. Easy to speak w everyone & the noise is just enough to provide background but still allow for easy conversation.Service was perfect, always there to make a suggestion, refill water glasses or get another drink.I had the special which was a flat iron steak + incredibly delicious Yukon gold potatoes- steak was perfect but I could have licked the dish the potatoes were served in. Others had: the chicken (awesome) the bun less burger (same) skirt steak (Scott finished before anyone else it was so good) and the white fish (I sampled - light, fluffy and wonderful.By the way, the bread they served was fantastic and I would go back for that alone!!Deserts. Where do I begin?? Probably w the chocolate chips cookie w the ice cream was my absolute fav. Others at the table voted the sticky toffee #1, mango ice cream & chocolate cake were both delicious.Great night & can't wait to return!!!

The best food on the North Shore! Prairie grass never disappoints... The food is amazing, as is the service. My favorite is the chicken cutlet -- it is beyond. Truly elevated. But really there are so many fabulous entrées you can't pick just one! Oh, and don't miss ordering the Caesar salad...

A scrumptious dinner venue hidden away in the corporate building. The service is very fast! The food - the sirloin burger is truly a delight. It's soft and tender topped up with a blue cheese topping of sorts. The wedge potato's are a whole other delight! Crispy and substantial. I always order an extra side of these. It's a perfect blend of crispy outside and edges with a warm, soft middle. The half baked chicken was wonderful: the skin was perfectly crispy and the wild rice gave nice texture. The true star of the show was the pumpkin it was served with - buttery sweet with a crunch from the sunflower seed it was served with. It complimented the savory chicken dish so nicely. The shepherd's pie was hearty and delicious! Soft creamy mashed potatoes in the top with piping hot meat and veggies! The desserts are always the perfect close to the night. Not too sweet but perfectly savory. I recommend the warm cake. Also, if you can; their filet mignon is wonderful as well! Not pictured here, but it's usually my go to! Other recommendations: filet mignon, skirt steak, and crispy Brussels sprouts.

I got a medium rare burger, which Prairie Grass is known for, and it did not disappoint! The sautéed onions and spinach were delicious too. The service was speedy and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend coming here!

Dear Prairie Grass: you are on the verge of losing a loyal customer who began dining with you the day you opened. We normally have a great experience at Prairie Grass, but tonight you struck out. It was my wife's birthday. All she talked about all day was the steak she was going to have at Prairie Grass. The corn fritters and drinks pre-dinner were great. We each ordered your New York strip steak, medium. The steak arrived well-done. It wasn't even close to medium or medium well. After delivering the food, the waiter disappeared for the remainder of the meal. He never checked back in on us. Part of the problem: we noticed that the restaurant had just two waiters for the entire floor plus the outdoor patio. Shame on you for understaffing! I can't entirely blame the waiter because he was handling more tables than when one waiter should be expected to handle. By the way, I was a waiter for two years myself, and I know how hard the job is.Also: the two hosts never pitched in to help. When a restaurant is under staffed the hosts need to step it up and help. The host walked past our table many times but never checked on us. After the meal was over, the waiter asked us how we liked the steaks and we let him know that they were cooked well done--and showed him a piece from each of our plates--and he agreed they were well done. The manager decided to comp us on a $12 piece of pie that was delivered to us ice cold in an ice cold bowl. It appeared they just took it out of the refrigerator and gave it to us. Who eats blueberry pie ice cold? If you're going to comp something give me a choice in the matter. My wife is a food professional, who literally wrote the guide to cooking beef for American Cattlemen. She edited over 1000 cookbooks in her career. She knows what she's talking about and she will never set foot in your restaurant again. I have a business lunch there next week and I will show up expecting a better experience. Sorry for the negative review but you earned it. The bill was $234. What a shame.

Went with another couple. The food was mediocre. Prices were high for example bread was an additional $4, a cup of tea was $10. Everything is ala carte. There are many other restaurants on the north shore much better. On the positive --the service was great.

Beautiful restaurant; great outdoor seating too. We had an omelette. It was good but nothing fabulous. Food was pricey; had to pay extra for bread: pop was $$. Service was excellent. Waitstaff was super friendly.
