Postino Del Mar

We had a center booth inside where we could see a snapshot of every part of the restaurant. I know a lot of people prefer the patio and next time we'll be definitely out there...but anywhere at Postino catches the vibe. We came at 4pm on a Friday and it wasn't too busy. By the time we left, it was PACKED and the biggest scene at One Paseo by far.Of course, we ordered a board, a pitcher of the Japanese Lager, the Nine Iron Panini, the Crispy Cauliflower, the Blackberry Smash and another several glasses of the $6 happy hour wine (before 5pm).For the board, we all had different favorites. I thought the Salmon & Pesto and French Onion Soup were the best. My daughter loved the Burrata & Bacon and my wife loved the French Onion too!The Cauliflower was bomb...wow. That romesco sauce is fire and I need to make this at home! The Panini was good but the bread was a bit too hard to finish the whole thing. Still tasted great. We also got Donut Dots for dessert, which came with three sauces for dipping. So good!One note: are there bathrooms inside the restaurant? No idea. We knew One Paseo has plenty of restrooms scattered around so that was fine (but would still like to know!).Can't wait to come back!

Another pleasant visit! We've been to the one in Little Italy several times and had good times so we decided to give this one a try.There are indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor area was nice but not too big. We got a table for 7 right away and made it 10 minutes before happy hour ends. Of course i got my moscato again. We ordered three boards and i finally got to try July special and we got a mixed rating between French onion and berry mascarpone. We also tried Philly cheesesteak and that was my favorite out of three new items that I tried. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. He even got us donuts for the birthday boy. Thank you for making our celebration extra special.

I came here for a girls' brunch, and Postino blew us away! We ordered two bruschetta boards ($19.25 each). For each board, you get to choose four types of bruschetta. For our first board, we chose the following with our collective favorite being the French onion bruschetta.-French onion (July special)-Berry mascarpone (July special)-Brie, apple & fig spread-Mexican street cornFor our second board, we chose four more bruschetta with my personal favorite being the prosciutto. -Burrata, bacon, arugula & tomato-Mushroom & mascarpone-Prosciutto di parma, fig & mascarpone-Smoked salmon & pestoWe also got an appetizer, the crispy cauliflower ($137.75). I like the sauce that it came with!Suzi was our amazing waitress! She was a lot of fun, and gave perfect recommendations. She told us about the Broadbent Grüner Veltliner bottle, and was so convincing that we ordered a whole bottle for $15. Love the ambiance here, and it was such a fun and relaxing venue for more girls' brunches. We all talked about how excited we are to return again!

Excellent service, good food, a relaxed and friendly vibe, and a large patio where doggies are welcome. Postino Del Mar has it all!I dined here recently with a friend and our pups. It was our first time here, and we felt like the staff rolled out the red carpet for us. Jada was the smiling, very nice hostess who greeted us and led us to the patio. The restaurant was busy but the patio wasn't full, and we were able to choose a table to the side where it was easier to converse without having to raise our voices and where our doggies wouldn't be in anyone's way. I wasn't expecting the place to be full on a Monday, but the patio filled up quickly, which I took as a good sign.Nat, a trainee, was our server. Alex was her trainer. They were both very attentive to us, courteous, engaging, knowledgeable about whether or not some of the vegetarian-looking options were indeed vegetarian, and very patient in explaining how to order the Bruschetta Boards.We started our dinner with a glass each of the Stagedive Pinot Noir, and we both enjoyed it. For the food, we went with all vegetarian items. You can build your own Bruschetta Board with up to four different items. Our choices included: Brie, Apple and Fig Spread; Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato & Basil; Warm Artichoke Spread; and Sweet N' Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese. We also ordered the Roasted Mushroom Fondue from the Snacky Things section of the menu. All the food items were very good but the stand-outs for both of us were the OMG delicious Bruschetta with Brie, Apple and Fig Spread and the Roasted Mushroom Fondue. We cleaned the plates. I don't know how we had room for Hot Donut Dots for dessert, but we managed :)I look forward to going back and trying some of the other food items. And I hope to see that Nat graduated from trainee to employee. She deserves it!

My friends and I got the board of toasts where you get 4 different types of toasts, with 4 different flavors. We got 2 savory and 2 sweet toasts. The bacon, arugula, tomato toast was my favorite. Our server also gave our table an extra mushroom/truffle fondue that was made, and it was super yummy with great umami flavors.There are also plenty wine options at pretty affordable prices. The overall ambiance is open with dim lighting, perfect for a summer date night!

Would totally come here again during their happy hour! Came Wednesday around 5:30pm and it was sooo busy, my friend couldn't even find parking. We also waited around 50 mins for a seat. Ordered the meatballs with goat cheese which was good. Not too salty or sour from the sauce, it also came out quick. The bruschetta board came out a bit later and was also super good! Definitely filling for 2 people. The service was okay but we didn't need much so it wasn't too big of a deal.

Came this time for their Bottle and Board for $25 special (Mon & Tues after 8 pm). You can't make a same day reservation & they told me it gets super crowded at 8 pm. So my friend and I came a little before & ordered something first, and then got the special at 8. SERVICE: The staff here were SO nice - you don't have the same person all night but they do team service. Shoutouts: First, Jordan, thank you! We wanted a table that was not too loud & on top of other people so we could talk - but also not too cold. Thank you! Dana also took our order at one point and was really nice. There was also a great server who's a student at UMass & another woman with long brown hair who was really nice when I came in & when I kept running into her.FOOD AND DRINK: First of all, the bottle & board special for $25 is CRAZY. We got the Zinfandel that's normally $48 a bottle, plus the board that's normally $18. TOGETHER, they were just $25. And they were delicious. Thumbs up on the zin (though I might order something different next time). The board: we got 4 kinds of bruschetta: the chef's special French onion (yummy), the mushroom mascarpone (our FAVORITE, so good), ricotta, date and pistachio (good, but forgettable, I'd try something different), and finally the smoked salmon (you can't go wrong with smoked salmon - but it tastes exactly how you think it will, so no surprises like with the mushroom mascarpone!).We also started with the cauliflower appetizer which was INSANELY good. I loved the sauce. I think I will need to get this each time I come. And it was definitely better than the kale salad I got last time (which maybe is not on the menu anymore?). Finally, I was going to get soup for dessert (LOL, but I was trying to be healthy) - but they ran out of it!! So I got the little donut dessert instead. CRAZY good. Chocolate sauce, vanilla sauce, salted caramel sauce. We loved it.So now I've figured out the secret sauce here and when to come and what to get. Will definitely be back with friends in the future!!

Sunday afternoon/evening service staff was phenomenal! The recommendations of wine and food couldn't have been any better. Our seating was very comfortable and exactly what we wanted! 10/10 would recommend making a stop at this Del Mar location.(main server was Malik, he was awesome)

Great wine bar. Food is great, especially the bruschetta boards. Will be back for sure!!

The staff and service here are great! Shannon is super sweet greets with you with a warm welcome and makes sure to get your favorite drink!
