Soooo...... This place, I don't know what they did in the past year, or who they had to fire, because they have nailed it spot on. I ordered take out but ended up eating there since I didnt want my pho to get cold and let me tell you, it was a decision well made!!!THE BROTH!!! I haven't had pho this good in such a long time it was so heartwarming, the broths aroma smelled like a warm hug from a grandmother. I had to circle back days later

Got some pretty good Vietnamese from this place in Buckman. It may be closer to fast casual than authentic, but it's still pretty close with the flavors and spices. XinhXinh is an unassuming looking place among a few warehouses. Has a lot of plant based choices. The prices are pretty okay for the portions and quality. Best time to come is happy hour. It's got specials on both drinks and food so you save a lot. The place wasn't busy when we got there. More people would come in as the meal went along. There's both authentic and fusion styles. It's about $4 to get the Sesame Rice Balls at happy hour. These are filled with red beans, and are fried until crispy and tossed in sesame seeds. It's about $9 for a banh mi. These have a choice of curry, nutty, or tangy sauce. Also comes with cilantro, cucumbers, jalapeños, mayonnaise which I left off, and pickled daikon carrots. She got the Pulled Jackfruit Banh Mi, and I got the Tofu With Sauce Banh Mi. These were filling, mainly because of the bread, but still had quite a lot packed into these. Have to say it was better than we thought it would be. It's similar to many other casual Vietnamese places but they have good flavors and spices. They're closed Wednesdays.

I enjoyed eating here and the service was nice! I had the pho and it was a very nice lunch. The flavor was lacking a little bit I feel it is because they don't use MSG and use vegetables to make the broth for the pho! Great vegan options too which include tofu and etc.

We had plans for a new Vietnamese soup place but found out - the day of - that they are only open until the soup is gone, and that is around 3 pm...and none of us could get to dinner before 6 pm, so we got lucky and found XinhXinh! 1) The customer service is outstanding! I wanted extra peanut sauce and they gave that to me, free of charge. 2) The food is fantastic! 3) Small place but was big enough for us 8. 4) Clean and easy street parkingI ordered the spring rolls and sweet potato fries. Both delicious. I know, I know, I could get sweet potato fries any time - but it's what I was craving. My mistake was not ordering the bowls, like my friends did. Photos attached. A photo is worth a thousand words.

Came upon this spot in Portland, craving Vietnamese. This spot is small, you order and sit down. I throughly enjoyed my food. It was closing time... even though they did not have a kids menu. My son really only likes soup and noddles. We ordered that and he received a big bowl. Service was great. I can't wait to come back!

Great spot for a good meals (vegans included!). Although there menu isn't huge, they offer a variety of dishes, and the good news is: there's a vegan alternative for most of them! You order at the counter here and they bring the food to you. Service is really nice.I came in a large group and ordered a variety of things, with potstickers, steamed buns, and the wow wow wings for appetizers. The wings were saucy and came either regular or spicy, which I loved. The steamed buns were huge, the buns were soft, and the filling was generous. Out of all the appetizers, I thought the potstickers were the most underwhelming--however, they weren't bad. I ordered a combination plate and for some reason, it came out in a to-go container (without any explanation). Everyone else in my party had regular plates, so it just felt weird to have my food come out in a box. Otherwise, the meal I had here was great.

A casual, counter-order restaurant that serves up some delicious and creative banh mis. I tried the BBQ Tork Banh Mi (made from tofu and mushrooms) and the Pulled Pork Banh Mi. I enjoyed the texture of the Tork a lot, and I absolutely loved the strong, marinated flavors of the Pulled Pork. The bread was soft and pillowy, and smelled nice and fresh. The ratio of mayo and sauces used was perfect, and it was stuffed to the brim with crunchy pickled carrots, daikon, and cilantro. A good banh mi is all about the textures, and the mix of different textures in these was very pleasant. For appetizers, I tried the Shrimp Salad rolls, which tasted good and standard (nothing too special there), as well as the Crispy Salad with Pork. I liked the sauce flavors and mix of crunchy vs tender textures in the salad; the pork was very flavorful. I also tried some of the Beef Pho-- the broth was excellent: very flavorful and aromatic though a little too salty. Overall, prices are solid and reasonable too, and the service was very quick. It was pretty empty for a Tuesday dinner, and it was easy to find a table for dine-in.-- Price (relative to peers): 4.6/5Food: 4.6/5Ambience: 4.4/5Service: 5/5Overall Value: 4.6/5

XinhXinh for a fast pho visit after the science museum. Pho was good and service was nice.Server was great at accommodating. Location was great and easy to get to. Parking was a bit of a challenge though. Decent neighborhood. Great location to find right after visiting OMSI. PHO was fresh. Extremely large portion for kids. They over did the noodles though where they added a double portion which soaks up the soup and makes the noodles even larger. The broth has a very cardamom flavor to it if you like that. I wasn't but it was fine. It was unique. Ordered three kids bowls with meatballs and two adult size beef noodle bowls. Total was $69.xx before gratuity Shop is very small. Placed reservations on Google and it was declined but we were able to walk in and get seats right away.

It was a cold, snowy Sunday after church service and I wanted some hot soup. And what will be open...XinhXinh Vietnamese Bistro.I ordered the Hue Spicy beef soup and it was delicious. The noodles were soft and the meat was tender. I also enjoyed the spicy kick. It is not for the faint of heart. I enjoy spicy food and it definitely gave me that nose sweat. Flavorful spicy, yet good. There are plenty of seating indoors, so it's good for parties, yet if you want to use the restroom, it is off-site.
