Originally saw this place on Tik Tok and had to try it for myself. It is pretty good, especially the cheese curds. Burger isn't overwhelming good but a solid burger if you add cheese and bacon (extra $2). I opted to also add lettuce and tomato (.50 cents each). Extra point in my book because their ranch is good. Chocolate malt shake could have been thicker, kinda runny/already melted but still good flavor. They are located right in front of train tracks so not the nicest view or quietest area. Overall, would recommend and go back myself if in the area.

Great burgers and sides. Simple menu and they do it well! They also have black bean burgers (which aren't advertised very well). There's no seating inside, so it's really a to-go spot. Overall would come back again!

The best food doesn't need to be pretentious or too fancy. It just needs to be cooked with some soul and some quality ingredients. Everything about Wolf's Head is simple, and simply amazing! It's a bit off the beaten path but service was friendly and the food came out quick. It's a small space and doesn't try to be all hipster. The burgers were juicy, fries were crispy, and the Malts are killer!!

Why is this place so highly regarded? I saw a TikTok video essentially worshiping this place, claiming it was the best burger in Portland. I visited on an uncrowded Friday afternoon, and was surprised to see my order of a burger, fries, and a shake come out to almost $30. I got the deluxe fries, the deluxe burger, and the shake of the month which was caramel apple shake. Shake was way way way too sweet. Sickeningly sweet. Couldnt finish half of it. The burger patties were unseasoned and didnt have much flavor at all. It was mediocre at best. The fries were the best part of the meal..... definitely not worth 27 bucks.... Will not be visiting any of their locations again! Not to mention the girl at the register not having good customer service skills.

Decent burger. It's tasty and big and the combo is very decently priced. The service was fast and the place was very small, so we were served quickly. It's a good, greasy, filling burger, but I've also had better burgers. For the price I paid I'm pretty satisfied though!

Order: Double Combo w/ IBC Cream sodaPros: This was a good damn burger!!! Probably the best burger I have actually had in Portland. They served my burger straight off the grill and it had steam coming right of the burger! The ingredients were fresh!!! The tomato was cored and halved. I really get sick of places not coring their tomatoes and I bight into a pit. Their pickles they chose to use was A1! I love their choice of pickle. The bread bun was good and light. The sauce used was good. The patties were great. They could use a tad but more salt and pepper but overall it was still good. Curly frys were amazing and seasoned extremely well. Not to much not to little.Cons: n/aSide Note: Looks can be deciving. I was driving through the janky alley to grt to this place and I was a lilttpe skeptical of the outside appearance (they cant control that). However, once inside, the place is airy and clean. It's also next to a railroad track so keep in mind when lookin

Solid place when you're craving a smashburger. I had the chili burger and the deluxe fries (cheese sauce, burger sauce, griddled onions, and bacon). Quick and friendly service. I can't wait to go back and try a milkshake.

Finally was able to try Wolf's Head Burger today. Probably shouldn't have had it to go, but that's how things worked out. I got the single burger which they say is 1/4lb. The patty is larger than the bun, because it's smashed, which I normally love. This burger patty was so dry that the cheese, pickles, onions and burger sauce couldn't help it out. This was one dry burger. The cheese curds were over-fried! I like crunchy, but this was beyond. Based on today's visit, I would not recommend Wolf's Head Burgers. This was not the experience I had been hoping for, but now I know. I'm still looking for my go-to burger! But got to say the employees were nice.

I stopped by Wolf's Head Burger 90 minutes after opening on a Saturday afternoon, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The ordering process was smooth, and our food was ready in under 10 minutes, which was impressive.I got the double patty combo with a side of cheese curds and a single patty for my toddler. We also shared a strawberry milkshake. The cheese curds were a great addition--super crunchy, though initially, they tasted a little on the salty side. However, when paired with the burger, the flavors balanced out perfectly. As for the burger--wow. This smash burger was exactly what I'd hoped for. It had a nice char on the top side of the patty, giving it a deliciously crispy edge, and the cooked onions added great flavor. Think of an In-N-Out burger but on a "natural body-building regime" with a little extra heft. It's a simple burger done right, and it's seriously satisfying. This was my first visit, and I'm sure it won't be my last. If you're around SE Portland, Wolf's Head is worth a stop!
