Went in for happy hour on my birthday. Our server was super friendly. We had margarita and old fashioned cocktails. Two! I'd like to think they were special for my b-day, but I'm sure they are always that good. The oysters on the half shell were the highlight. We got a second half dozen. The charcuterie board was a good addition. A perfect date spot for a cozy table, tasty drinks, and delicious food!

This was our hang out spot when we lived in Portland. We move away in 2015, but we ALWAYS drop in when we're in town. And Ben will always recognize us when we come in. This is the definition of a great neighborhood pub. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

For Mother's Day early dinner, my family decided to take me (& their dad, hubby of almost 50 years) to an Italian restaurant nearby, but they don't take reservation, but they recommend to come early. We did, and the patio we wanted is 1 hour wait. (We could have gone at 4, to eat at 5, if we knew!) While waiting for the rest of my children (& grandchildren), oldest son suggested, let's walk around to see if there's another restaurant to go and be seated right away.And WE DID! Not only did we eat outside, on an 82 degree very nice very little wind in the shade, but we were greeted with a friendly (smiley) kind lady server, and beautiful too!I wanted the TAMARIND drink, (that was all I can remember), it has brown sugar, honey, & lime. (My youngest son knew I don't drink alcohol, anymore, but I told him, once in a few, and today is a special day, so I will). All the ingredients on my drink was appealing UNTIL I got to the Serrano (I knew it was a brand name, I didn't know Fuego means fire. (Until down the street from us, a car was really on fire, and I showed video to my sons, and they said: FUEGO! LOL). Anyway, I didn't care for my drink, since it was spicy hot! Every adult in my table, all took sips, and finished it all, but I was left without a sweet drink, and our very nice, lovely waitress gave me same drink, without the spicey Serrano. Thank you, I'm happy now!Each ordered what they wanted, hubby and grand daughter both had the hamburger, I and one son ordered the fried chicken and another son ordered the pork chops with mashed sweet potato (I am surprise for the first time, because he, my dad and I only eat sweet potato in our family). :)All's well that ends well. We could have stayed for sweet-stuff, I heard we're heading to an ice cream parlor, and visit some more.Note: I would prefer the outside, HERE, than the patio there! Sometimes, the Holy Spirit will guide you, where they think is BEST for today is a special day for all mothers!Amen?

Food was great, sweet server and staff. The hollandaise on the Benedict was particularly tasty, the potatoes tender and crispy. Had to take part of mine home. I like the art on the walls too.

I haven't been here in a while. I sat outside and ordered the burger with the gluten free substitute (polenta cake) not because I'm GF but because I'm bunned out and enjoy polenta. It was served medium rareeeee (mmm) with cheese, caramelised onions and aioli with pickles on the side and a nicely dressed side salad. I asked for ketchup, too. It was soooo delicious and messy. I had a cider as well. My friend ordered the burger a la carte with French fries for happy hour. The fries are good, thick and crispy and have two dipping sauces (ketchup and aioli). I know they're known for their cocktails but I was not in the mood. There was an outdoor event going on so we listened to music. Friendly service. Would definitely come back and enjoy the covered outdoor seating again.

Haven't been here for a while and now I'm asking myself why. Food is delish and the cocktails are tasty. We got the burger, which was thick and juicy, and the steak frites, which were perfectly cooked and wonderfully tender. Side salad and fries were both good too, and I got the Tamarind Fuego cocktail - sweet and spicy deliciousness.

Cute little space serving up a small but delicious menu. The service was a mixed bag with our hostess coming across bible, sweet, and super helpful but the bartender seemed to want to anywhere but at work moving at a snails pace if he was even working. The menu is a quick and easy read that's delicious but limited. Check it out before your group commits. Although this would be a cute date night option. The chicken was good but the steak was the bomb. The chimichurri sauce was a nice, bright addition. Good job. Bring a friend or bring a date. I think you'll like what you find in the Wilder side.

We came for some drinks after dinner nearby. Ordered the Tamarind Fuego and Manhattan. My drink was tangy and got that Serrano kick. if you can't handle spicy maybe don't get it, but if you can handle spicy it is an enjoyable drink! I don't like jalapeño drinks, but the Serrano has a much better flavor. Didn't order food, but you can smell it! We sat right in front of the kitchen and our clothes smelled like oil after we left lol

My kids love burgers, so we thought we would give this a try. Didn't disappoint, burger was SUPER JUICY! Steak was not too bad, just don't expect it to be amazing. Pretty chill spot. Our server was super nice, however, I felt bad she was the only server at dinner time, had about 6 plus tables she was serving. But food came out pretty fast. Fried broccoli, even the kids enjoyed!

I give up. Too many bad experiences with the wait staff--who cannot be bothered to wait on you. Sat with my undercooked burger for over an hour, and no one asked--or even came to our table of 6 to check. Had to holler a couple times for help, and we were not able to all order our drinks at one time because of the no-eye contact thing. And don't even think about asking to sit where you want to sit. You will be punished. Not the neighborhood joint I wanted to make my go-to place. And the 4 new people we invited to meet us there--they won't be back either. I don't get it.
