I stumbled upon this Taiwanese restaurant and was blown away by the beef noodle soup - it was so savory and rich. I had enough for leftovers the next day. Literally the best way to introduce myself to Taiwanese cuisine:)My friend and I also shared the braised tofu bao and it was delicious too, the bao buns were pillowy soft. Next time will definitely have to try their braised beef bao as well! The service was really friendly and I was surprised how quickly our food came out. We were getting close to closing time but they still welcomed us in. I loved how cozy it was inside with the warm lighting and plants.

Outstanding establishment! Low-key and family owned. Authentic Taiwanese food, from what I recall from my previous visits this great nation. I ordered simple dishes (sautéed mustard greens with mushrooms, braised tofu bao, and rice) along with soju, of course. Outstanding and subtle flavors, not overly greasy or overwhelming- just right! Service was quick, no nonsense, and attentive. I sat by myself at the window bar stool. Felt anonymous and completely at ease to enjoy the dining experience.Such a low-key and unpretentious environment. I highly recommend and look forward to visiting in the future. Cheers!

A nice little spot to grab some wontons and dumplings. The dumplings baos are not to be missed. The wonton ton noodle soup was warm and comforting but needed a little bit more flavor. This place has chrysanthemum tea which is a treasure to find. Service was quick. I'll have to try the spicy wontons next time.

Finally trying out Wei Wei in sellwood for a taste of Taiwan like the name suggests. We got seated right away. The owner/staff was friendly but also straight to the point which I personally appreciate. The restaurant is clean and the service is quick. We ordered the beef noodle soup and a beef bao. The beef is very tender in both dishes. The bao is very flavorful with the sauce, meat, cilantro, crushed peanuts, in a pillowy bun. The noodle soup is a generous portion of noodles, beef, and vegetables. The noodles are chewy in a good way and the broth is soul-warming and extra delicious with the chili oil.

My sister and I came here for lunch on a Saturday around 12:30pm and luckily there was only one other party there so we were able to get seats. The restaurant can really only fit up to 20 people on the inside and it was filled up by 1pm. We had a good experience overall. The owner seems personable -- she greeted a regular that hasn't been there in a while. Our appetizers came out really fast, but our entrees did take awhile bc of the fried pork chop. I noticed that everyone around us who ordered soup got their dishes first even if they came after us.The dishes that stood out to us was the spicy wonton & the pork belly bao. The wrap of the spicy wontons were silky and the spices were numbing. The pork belly in the bao melted in your mouth and I really liked the texture that the peanuts gave.

This spot is one of my favorite comfort food spots! It is Taiwanese food and relatively simple dishes, such as noodle soup, chinese sausage rice, and bao (of course there's more though). The shop itself is pretty small, and they have some seating inside and outside, but not much so be wary of when you go or there might not be seating. Staff are super kind and service is really quick. My favorites are their wonton noodle soup, rice plates, and veggies. It is so fulfilling and their portions are the perfect size. I highly recommend you to try a little bit of a lot if you can (go with friends!) and their drinks aren't bad either!

A fantastic mom-and-pop Taiwanese restaurant. My favorite dish was the beef noodle soup. It was rich, flavorful broth, super tender beef, and a must-try!However, I did find the ordering process a bit confusing at first. Walking in, I wasn't sure whether to sit down or go to the counter.

Can't say enough good things about this place! Cute hole-in-the-wall establishment with a fantastic and affordable menu. We got the Szechuan cucumbers, thank you spicy wontons, sesame noodles and the pan fried pork bao. All were excellent. The sauce that accompanies the bao was to die for and the sesame sauce with the noodles is addictive. This place should be far more busy!
