One of the best Korean restaurants I have been to! We ordered the Galbi Tang and Dolsot Bibimbap, we finished it in record breaking time! The soup was so flavorful, tasted like it was simmered for hours. All the banchan served were all very good as well. Will definitely come back!

Food tasted good since it was homemade (nothing tasted instant/packaged). The complimentary side dishes were on point (better tasting than most of the Korean restaurants I've been to).I'll let the pictures and video do the talking.Service was friendly. The ambiance was very Korean style/hole in the wall. This place is one of the better Korean restaurants around town.If you like Always Spring Korean restaurant above G-mart you should try this place.

A highly recommended Korean restaurant by the famous 'Korean Mama' - well worth the trip to Hillsboro.Typical Korean dishes with bibimbap and bulgogi, but also a lot of other options. We had some soup dishes with glass noodles and meat. Spicy squid was great. Our favorite is the seafood pancake. Fried mandu was also tasty. Large assortment of panjeon dishes with kimchi, pickled cucumber, and fish cake.Roasted corn tea was good.Overall small space with one server, but she was on top of things. Friendly and attentive.Plenty of parking. If in the area, we would return.

An authentic Korean restaurant with great food. You can tell that the food is homemade (and made with lots of care). The food reminded me of what my mom and grandma would make -- it made me very nostalgic and happy to get to taste these dishes far away from home. We got the: fish roe stew (9/10) mandu (steamed) (10/10)Gamjatang (10/10)The gamjatang especially is made with perilla, and this type of dish is not easy to find anywhere, especially not in the States. I was shook to see it here and was shook again by the taste.

I don't eat Korean food often since moving out of LA -- maybe a yearly BBQ or AYCE and biannual trip to Nak Won. And I don't order adventurously when it comes to Korean cuisine but the kimchi soup, mandu, and bibimbap I ate here were all tasty. Other reviewers have noted that the place/food has a homemade feel and I agree. Our server Hannah was sweet and helpful, and I think she said her mom or grandma was cooking in the back. No-frills inside. Bathroom was an undisguised supply closet.Prices about a dollar higher than what's on the pictures of the menus. (Sry, didn't grab a photo!) We spent about $90 to feed three people, without ordering too extravagantly (each got a main, plus the aforementioned mandu, plus one $9 bottle Terra of beer). Came with rice and half a dozen banchan.I think we will be back due to proximity and when in need of a heart-warming meal.

Today was my first time trying this establishment with my sibling. And it was one of the most wholesome and warmest experiences we've ever had. The hostess was incredibly welcoming and offered us some tea while we waited for out takeout order. She explained to us that these meals are prepared by her mom, which made the name of the establishment make complete sense. While we waited, the overall space was cozy, and somehow, homey.Once our food was ready to go, the hostess did not hesitate to explain what we had ordered and how to eat certain dishes. She was very sweet and attentive. The food itself, was delicious and tasted like a home cooked meal. We got the following:Bassak Bulgogi - this was very well seasoned, but not overwhelming, and the meat was juicy.Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimbap - also very well seasoned, but what really made this dish sing were the sides that you could pile on to the lettuce wrap - which you build yourself, so you can really customize each bite. Seafood Pajeon - this had a nice mix of green onion and squid to batter ratio, and was just flat out delicious. They also gave us soy sauce that was infused with habanero chiles, which made this a unique version of seafood pajeon.Fried Mandu - just really good fried food. And like the pajeon. The habanero soy sauce truly enhances the flavor. All in all. As a Mexican that is very accustomed to well seasoned, prepared home meals, and just flat out delicious and hearty meals. This was an amazing first time and I can't wait to bring my own mom to Umma

Let me start by saying that Umma dishes to me tasted homemade, and that's what I aim for with Korean food! I love my banchan and even when we ordered to go, the restaurant provided quite a variety of side dishes. We ordered seafood pajeon and was one of the best I've had. I've ordered ojingeo bokkeum, the spicy squid dish and I loved it. My husband ordered the bulgogi dolsot bibimbap and it looked delicious as well.Would definitely have food here again.

Family, this place is amazing. I have passed it for years before we decided to stop here for lunch. I wish we would have come here before now. The food is delicious. It had the perfect amount of flavor. We came during the lunch rush but our server hustled to get the orders in. I will definitely be back here.
