I played music here recently with my band, When We Met. It had been years and the room is even cooler now, nice sound and nice staff. Excellent selection of CBD sodas and enjoyed my little pizza. I suggest going to see live music here, ordering food and drink and help keep this little gem alive!

I visited Turn, Turn, Turn in the evening for a friend's band. It is not a big space, it has a functional bar, some food I did not try, some records, posters for upcoming events. They have a consistent reputation for booking small musicians. The bar staff and door staff were responsive to me. I had conversations with new friends.Turn, Turn, Turn is a small space and community where you can join a clubhouse of Portland culture at a very reasonable price. Your night clubhouse will be small band friends, neighbors, next culture seekers, and you, if you like.

As a member of the band Izy Kactus, having the opportunity to play at Turn! Turn! Turn! in Portland was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped into the venue, we were greeted by an atmosphere that was both intimate and electrifying, perfectly suited for live music enthusiasts. The eclectic mix of artists that grace the stage at Turn! Turn! Turn! is a testament to the venue's commitment to diversity and inclusivity, ensuring a safe space for all attendees and performers alike. Our experience on stage was incredible, thanks to the top-notch acoustics and the warm, enthusiastic crowd that really knows how to appreciate good music. It's rare to find a venue that strikes the perfect balance between a cozy setting and a vibrant live music scene, but Turn! Turn! Turn! does it with ease. One cannot review this venue without mentioning the fantastic staff, especially the bartenders who keep the energy high and the drinks flowing, contributing to the overall stellar experience. However, the highlight of working with Turn! Turn! Turn! was undoubtedly collaborating with Elizabeth for our booking. Her professionalism, passion for music, and dedication to the artists make the process smooth and enjoyable, ensuring that each event is a success.I am thrilled to see Turn! Turn! Turn! thriving and continuing to support the live music community in Portland. My bandmates and I are eagerly looking forward to our next gig here. For fellow musicians looking for a venue that truly values and uplifts live music, and for anyone craving an authentic, enjoyable music experience, Turn! Turn! Turn! is the place to be. Here's to many more memorable nights at this outstanding venue!

I really like to support local establishments, but Turn! Turn! Turn! makes it tough to do so. While this establishment wasn't at all to my liking, I'm sure that many will find it quaint, charming, and quite to their liking. To me, though, it just misses the mark.First off, the front entrance door has a very big sign stating that it is ONLY to be used by the bands, and that customers must use the side door. It took a bit to find the side door, because there is NOTHING on it indicating the name of the business. There's no window, no store hours, nothing to confirm that one has found the customer entrance. This is VERY uninviting, and seems to relegate customers to being second-class citizens right from the start. The interior is dark, and seating is universally uncomfortable. One side of the tables' seats is a basically a long wooden backless bench that serves as basically a stoop under the windows, and if you lean back, your back would be against the window. The other side have chairs with their backs to the stage. So, seating is TERRIBLE if you want to see a band perform. You'll also see old vinyl records for sale, which seems quirky for the sake of being quirky. The service was a mixed bag. The employee to helped me was helpful, kind, and friendly. The other employee, and it really pains me to have to say this, literally reeked of BO. This is NOT what I want if I'm having food or a drink, and I was happy that he stayed behind the bar, and that my seat was far enough away that I didn't have to smell him that frequently. The food menu is tiny, and focuses on being vegetarian. I opted for a rice / bean bowl with Jalapenos and meatballs (as an add-on). The beans and rice were cooked perfectly, and the dish thoughtfully had tortilla chips which made for a nice textural contrast. The meatballs were not good, though, tasting as though they hung around in the refrigerator for longer than they should have. The sound was kept at a comfortable level for the performance, which was nice, but I left very early because the establishment just wasn't a comfortable place to be.

A great little stop for anyone on the move. And important thing to know is that Turn Turn Turn is actually bin a shared space. The morning belongs to a coffee shop and the afternoon is to the bar. Turn is located right off a bicycle superhighway, which is actually how I discovered it (right on North Williams) and as it is at a stoplight, you can't help but be curious what is inside. The interior is small and cozy and quite welcoming in a very Portland way. A small selection of curated beers greets you as you enter along with a brief but effective menu to pad your stomach into your next drink. As the evening moves in, music of various types (dj etc...) Will be your entertaining options and in the lead up, an eclectic selection of music is playing for you and your friends to enjoy.Although small, there is some seating outside which honestly doesn't get as loud as you would think.I can say that you see a lot of places like this on the East side, but this one has the best melding of price, location and menu. Absolutely well worth your time.

This was my neighborhood bar last year. I moved away and I miss it dearly. Great welcoming spot and a really cool alternative/indie culture. I'm backing it as a hangout, music venue, vinyl shop and more.

I rolled in 12 minutes before closing, hoping to grab a sandwich to go, as I was in the last 1/4 of my road trip from San Francisco to Seattle. My care taker was friendly and agreed to fire up the hot press to make a Friday's Child, hot sandwich for me to take with me. They usually shut down food an hour or so before closing, but she didn't want me to go on hungry. It looks like I may have missed the night's live music. If it were earlier, I would have loved to hang out at this music-bar. It harkins back to the ... 70s, with actual turntables spinning vinyl records. Definitely "retro". They have old albums and clothes for sale. There were conventional hipsters hanging out, but the retro atmosphere reminds me that hipsters are the retro-hippies, and looked quite at home here. The pressed sandwich was very good. It had a nice crispy crunch followed by a nice mix of flavors (cheese, tangy peppers, pesto, etc). It also came with some crunchy potato chips and a homemade slaw. It hit the spot, the first food since breakfast, at 11pm. Now, only three more hours on the road.

This is an eclectic little spot. Re-sale clothing, pick and play your own vinyl, live music, beer, cider or wine and anything you want to eat that can be made with a George Forman grill. The art and furniture are garage sale chic. it is a fun place to come hang for a pint, peruse the vintage t-shirts for sale and listen to some tunes. Might want o get a grilled cheese while our there..

ADORABLE. Totally acceptable drinks made by the cutest bartenders on the planet. This place keeps evolving and getting better and better, so I encourage everyone to check this place out at least once. It is so a music venue that I enjoy going to when I just want to relax. Swing/Jazz here is awesome, and there's even a tiny bit of a dance floor. Super romantic atmosphere in a great location. This place makes me feel like I'm a fresh little hot cross bun and all buttery and delicious on the inside. Keep doing what you're doing! The community loves you.

Almost like a community center with drawing afternoons, karaoke on Mondays, independent films. As a music venue. The performers are eclectic and genuine every night and sometimes there are late afternoon shows as well. This is a special place.
