Top of the Hill Tavern

I have been in several times now bc I live close by.Not great at all. Beer taps need cleaning and beer is flat.

Little well established bar in a neighborhood with loads of old houses. I was there for maybe 30 minutes and I was welcomed very friendly. They have beer from draft, some wine and almost a full bar. They also have some slot machines and pool tables. I was just sitting at the bar and had Wodka/Martini - haven't asked what brand of Wodka they have and the Martini wasn't dry but at least they put olives into my drink and the glasses were authentic. They had an issue with the air control on their draft beers, so I couldn't try them. The price was $ 4.00/drink (very reasonable!) - I will come back at some point and check out their beers!

Stopped in after running errands on Saturday 10/30, the bartender Michelle was AWESOME!! very friendly made ya feel at home, had some laughs,this might become a regular stop lol

What a little diamond in the rough. This place is great but it's missing one thing. Darts ther have the perfect spot up the steps from the pool area it's the perfect spot at least in my opinion. The drinks are well poured and the beer is cold. The bathrooms are ridiculously small and u have to wash ur hands in the hallway but the barmaids are nice and there's free pool on Sunday nights. I would say that this is as close to a dive bar without being a dive bar as you can get. For me it's too bright and date I say clean to be a dive bar.

Had a bad night here due to Peg Bundy and a Tux-Clad Regular but other than that, great time. See you soon, asshole!

It's a dive bar, but it has a good beer selection and fine cocktails. Great prices for drinks and food. There are several TVs for sports, pool tables, and Kareoke Fridays are fun with a wide song selection. They have good chili fries, and I've never had anything on their menu that I didn't enjoy.

Karaoke Friday and Saturday. Free pool on Sunday. Taco Tuesday's. Typical dive bar. The bartender's are nice.

This is the kind of bar where Achey Breaky Heart plays every fourth song and all the patrons carry knives. Don't get me wrong they are all great people, and if you happen to have epilepsy, they will assist you in event of a seizure, they just don't want your shit. This woman there told me I had nice hair, and her boyfriend looked like he was going to kick the crap out of me, so I made some remark about not having the right allen wrench to fix my "hog" (more commonly known as a motorcycle) to get him on my side. He grabbed up his lady by the arm and moved tables. To make things right I proceeded to get blazin' drunk and ogle his woman without making eye contact with her. I think he was pleased. If you are looking to get away from the crowd at (insert local hipster bar here) and go to a real poor people bar, then this is the place for you. But if you are a real poor person like myself who likes to waste their money getting piss drunk, you can do better. If you live in my house it is within walking distance so that is nice, but if not what are you doing on this side of town any way? Stop at Biddy's, that's as far as you need to go (nah I'm just kidding, go where you like).hey listen, we all have different opinions ok? I love this neighborhood bar! It has a cozy, comfy feel. All of the bartenders have made me feel welcome. Some of them have told me the owner is great to work for and that matters to me. It's not fancy or extravagant by any means. Just a great place to hang out and get to know your neighbors.

My favorite dive bar. Amelia and Sherrie are great bartenders! Good drinks and decent food.
